Kimberly Buck (00:00) hi Kim. Good afternoon.

Nneka-Shay Grant (00:02) How are you?

Kimberly Buck (00:03) Good afternoon. I’m great. How about yourself?

Nneka-Shay Grant (00:05) I’m doing pretty well myself. Thank you for taking the time to hop on with me.

Kimberly Buck (00:11) Thank you for allowing me to meet with you so quickly, yeah.

Nneka-Shay Grant (00:16) Absolutely. Just to give you a quick intro. My name is Anika, and I’m on the partnerships team here at medallion. So really, I know this call is only a few minutes super high level, but the goal today is really just to understand what’s important to you, what’s important to the business, and just to give you a bit more information about medallion so that you can determine if it makes sense to evaluate us as your credentialing partner. So I’d love to hear more about hawthorne about yourself and what you guys are looking for.

Kimberly Buck (00:49) Yes, thank you. So hawthorne health, we do a couple of different things but basically, we do research in the home and also at clinical research sites across the nation. We have over 2000 providers in our network. And currently, we use a outsourced credentialing firm to complete our credentialing. However we are looking at reevaluating that and bringing credentialing in house. And so the reason… I reached out to medallion is because I noticed on your website that you offer some of the software that we would be interested in because we are a research company, we don’t bill. So we don’t need payer, credentialing. We also don’t privilege. We don’t need to for research. We just need to credential. But with that said, we need to, you know, have the ability to track recredential, and we still need all of the same credentials credentialing capabilities that you would need in order to complete your credentialing. So I want, I hope that we can find something that allows us to, you know, look at utilizing what we already have or if it makes sense replace what we already have, right? So currently, we use checkr for background checks outside of the credentialing third party credentialing firm that we use. We also have a software that we developed, we call it vdp. So V for Victor D for development P for plan and that’s what houses our CVS, our licenses and our training. So I’m looking for some software that could help you know, API into our current resources or like I said, if it makes sense to replace it, but I really don’t need an LMS and I don’t need storage, but I do need compliance and audit, you know, audit trail capability. And because we are highly regulated, so I’ll pause there, and I’ll let you take over.

Nneka-Shay Grant (03:09) Yeah, awesome. That was great background. Thank you for sharing that. And that kind of really ties into exactly what medallion is about. So I’ll give you a little bit of an overview. So we kind of touched on this or you touched on this which so medallion traditionally, there are two ways that you can handle credentialing which you kind of mentioned is either outsourcing to a third party which sometimes work. But oftentimes you kind of lose control and lose visibility. And, you know, maybe some of those like credentialing turnaround times are impacted there or you can build an internal team maybe with software to support them. But as you grow and you’re adding headcount dealing with the limits of that system. So essentially medallion solves for both, we are a solutions and services organization. So we are backed by Google Salesforce, and optum, and we’re using AI and automation to handle the entire provider lifecycle. So credentialing licensing, I know you don’t need the pay enrollment process, but we do handle like things like re, credentialing and just kind of giving you visibility into the entire process especially for things like audits. So by using that automation, we’re able to cut up to 90 percent of the manual work that’s involved in the process. And for parts that still require human judgment, we have our in house specialized experts on our end to ensure that you have accuracy and compliance every step of the way. So really it’s that combination of automation and technology AI plus our experts which allow us to, you know, contract to turnaround times and things of that nature. So, I know you mentioned you have about 2000 providers currently in looking for things like credentialing? Re, credentialing, being able to have like compliance visibility, audit trail capabilities? Is there anything else top of mind that you’d be looking for that? We should make sure of that, we can probably show to you.

Kimberly Buck (05:13) Sure. So, you know, I want to make sure that we have primary source verification and continuous monitoring capabilities. I’d like to understand like your pricing model and licensing structure, I’d like to understand like the training that you would offer regarding your platform, not training that we would embed into the software, but, you know, training regarding your platform and what would the ongoing customer support look like? I’d like to understand your implementation approach and the typical timelines, right? Typical timelines to integrate your software, but also the typical timelines for credentialing.

Nneka-Shay Grant (05:55) And then.

Kimberly Buck (05:57) if you offer, you know, integration options, like we talked about, right? Like and what would that look like? And… basically, because we don’t privilege, I want to understand the oppe and the fppe and the peer review support that you offer, different levels of different levels of providers, sometimes need more support than others. So I’d like to understand that as well.

Nneka-Shay Grant (06:29) Yep. Awesome.

Kimberly Buck (06:30) And then the ease of use of your software, right? Can you use it on a mobile device? Do you have to use it on the desktop? You know, how long does it take to fill out? Is it, how many pages is it, you know, can you pause it, save it and come back? All of those things?

Nneka-Shay Grant (06:45) Yeah, yeah. That makes perfect sense. And I, from kind of like, you know, our brief conversation, I definitely think that medallion could be a great fit for you guys especially with, the amount of providers that you’re looking to support and the specifics that you need like things like psvs continued monitoring, you know, re, credentialing and things of that nature. So medallion definitely supports all of those. And we just, from my understanding of the platform, we do have API integrations that can integrate into other softwares. So I’ll leave it to our solutions experts to kind of walk you through in detail about what that looks like. But typically, the next step in the conversation would be to schedule a 30 minute conversation with one of our solutions experts. I will relay to them what we talked about today, so they can come prepared to answer all of your questions and give you a really more in depth understanding of medallion or pricing structure and things of that nature. So just curious what your calendar looks like. If you’re open to me meeting, I can probably do something tomorrow or Friday or anything that works for you.

Kimberly Buck (07:53) I would be happy to meet on Friday if you have something available, yeah.

Nneka-Shay Grant (07:57) Absolutely.

Kimberly Buck (07:59) More in, you know, after I’m not sure what time zone you’re in, I’m in eastern, but some of my colleagues are in mountain. So I’d like to be respectful of if they would like to join or not? I’m not sure if they will, but if they would, I want to give them that option. So anything after 12 eastern or somewhere in that time frame? Yeah, that.

Nneka-Shay Grant (08:19) Sounds great. I can definitely look for something 12 eastern for you or.

Kimberly Buck (08:25) A little bit later is fine too. Okay?

Nneka-Shay Grant (08:29) 12 eastern?

Nneka-Shay Grant (08:42) Awesome. And you said you guys have about 2000 providers just to be sure.

Kimberly Buck (08:46) We do. Okay?

Nneka-Shay Grant (08:48) Perfect. Alrighty.

Nneka-Shay Grant (08:57) And anything after 12 eastern? Okay? Let’s see.

Nneka-Shay Grant (09:07) So, the earliest, the only well actually yep, the only time slot I have on Friday will be 11 eastern. So if that doesn’t work, we can also look on next Monday.

Kimberly Buck (09:19) Let’s look at the following week.

Nneka-Shay Grant (09:22) Okay. I have three PM.

Kimberly Buck (09:27) That will work.

Nneka-Shay Grant (09:30) Okay. Well, actually how’s three 30, three 30 is good too. Okay, perfect. Alrighty. I will send this invite over to you now and that should be on your calendar and any other of your team members that need to be added. I’ll just follow up with you over email and you can just maybe CC them or just send their emails in that thread and I’ll be able to add them to the invite as well. Perfect. Thank you so much. Of course. Thanks, Kim, looking forward.

Kimberly Buck (09:59) So, am I have a?
