Renay Ramos (00:05) hi, Ren. How are you? Good. Hello. How are you?

Rae Tompkins (00:12) I’m good. Renay, how are you?

Renay Ramos (00:14) Hanging in there. I have a little bit of a cold. So, oh, no, yeah, don’t worry. It’s tough on me. So, you don’t have a cough?

Renay Ramos (00:25) I think I’m you can only see my head. How weird, right? That’s okay. I’m just like I’m not good at this.

Rae Tompkins (00:38) I have to be careful with my backgrounds too with how dark my hair is. If I have like a dark background, I just look like my, I had just a forehead, so.

Renay Ramos (00:51) Not much.

Rae Tompkins (00:54) Renay. I know we’re possibly waiting on a couple more to join. But based on the conversation that you had sent in the email, I did want to flag and we’ll get into the details. Our team is going to reprocess that facility file.

Renay Ramos (01:08) Okay. To.

Rae Tompkins (01:09) Ensure that it’s processed correctly?

Renay Ramos (01:11) Okay. Thank you. You’re.

Rae Tompkins (01:13) welcome. But I’ll definitely provide more details. Do you know if we’re waiting on anyone else from the carenu side?

Renay Ramos (01:21) Both, they know, but I was asking Renay because I see, I don’t see Angelica or Carla on it. I see the older, you know, the people that like Pauline and Kathy?

Renay Ramos (01:38) Pauline is probably not going to come on. Kathy, isn’t going to appear, so, I’m.

Renay Ramos (01:43) saying, is the other people are Angelica and Carla invited? Because these?

Rae Tompkins (01:47) Are old, yeah, they’re on the invite.

Renay Ramos (01:49) Then you’re good.

Rae Tompkins (01:51) Hi, Carla.

Renay Ramos (01:55) Hello?

Renay Ramos (02:00) Can you guys hear me?

Rae Tompkins (02:02) Sure, can. Oh.

Renay Ramos (02:03) Yeah.

Renay Ramos (02:03) We can.

Renay Ramos (02:04) Hear you. How are you?

Karla Torres (02:05) Good. How are you? Good?

Renay Ramos (02:09) Oh, thank it’s Thursday.

Rae Tompkins (02:13) I know Friday.

Renay Ramos (02:14) Eve?

Rae Tompkins (02:17) Carla, I’m not sure if we had an opportunity to meet yet.

Renay Ramos (02:20) I don’t think so. I was part of the training, but I guess.

Karla Torres (02:25) We didn’t really, we didn’t do introductions.

Renay Ramos (02:28) Yeah.

Rae Tompkins (02:28) Well, it’s nice to meet you officially nice.

Karla Torres (02:30) Meeting you as well. Kind.

Rae Tompkins (02:32) Of run the weekly operations calls, anything that comes up throughout the week, just kind of clarify processing. So happy to have you join us.

Karla Torres (02:41) Thank you. Appreciate you, yeah.

Rae Tompkins (02:43) Alrighty. We can go ahead and jump into the items that Renay had flagged over to the team.

Rae Tompkins (02:50) So Renay, like I mentioned, we are going to reprocess that file. The facility file that was missing the CMS preclusions. I did go ahead and flag to the team to rename the mpdb organization. You had flagged. It was listed as a hospital and there is a type where we can select it as the orthopedic prosthetic facility. So moving forward, they’ll make sure that that’s captured correctly in the mpdb enrollments. So like I said, mpdbs, we ran as of 310 preclusions started three five. So any files from those dates should have that information captured. As you mentioned, these files did not have the date stamps, which is something we identified back in January. So that was also flagged to the team to reiterate on our sop. So like I mentioned, this file will be reprocessed including date stamps, the correct source for mpdb and the preclusions on file.

Renay Ramos (03:45) So I might start coughing. But for this file though it’s expired… I’m sorry. So I don’t know if you want to wait on this one here, so I can get them to review the app and reattest to it.

Rae Tompkins (04:02) That’d be great. I’ll let the team know to hold off until you can get us an updated attestation, and then we can make sure that gets back in process.

Renay Ramos (04:09) Thank you, you’re.

Rae Tompkins (04:10) welcome. But I did want to notate that we’re not verifying for facility files, the ofac sanctions or medicaid numbers, and for accreditations and site surveys if it’s not provided that’s not something that we’re outreaching for… but everything else flagged. We’ll make sure that it’s on file.

Renay Ramos (04:33) Okay. And then like the W9, they’re not going to add it to medallion or anything like that. I have to do it from my end and same thing with the license. So.

Rae Tompkins (04:46) We’re verifying the license if it’s provided to us via the information uploaded to platform. But the W9, I think we had mentioned previously, you can upload that to the documents tab and we’re able to include it in the completed packet.

Renay Ramos (05:01) Right? Because there is a space in medallion for the W9 on the main page. So I’ve been loading it there. And then the same thing with the license. So medallion will not excuse me load those documents to those tabs on the license page, yeah.

Rae Tompkins (05:24) I just want to make sure, are we referring to it not being included in the packet or not being data entered into the facility profile?

Renay Ramos (05:32) Not being entered on the tabs. Okay?

Rae Tompkins (05:36) So we’re not loading the data entry aspect of it that’s a responsibility of carenu. But I can ensure that if it’s uploaded to the documents tab, that it’s completed in the completed packet.

Renay Ramos (05:48) Okay. And then the whole packet is not going to ever be seen in medallion unless I load it in there. Is that correct? So like the pack that I sent to you like?

Rae Tompkins (06:07) I’m sorry, no, no, I keep having to make you talk. I apologize as well. So the facility packets that you send us via email, you would like that included in the documents tab, right? Because that’s like something I’ve talked.

Renay Ramos (06:20) about before and I know that they’re not doing that.

Rae Tompkins (06:23) Yeah. Let me re, flag that. And this is super helpful as we kind of make sure the facility process is ironed out especially based on our previous conversations with preclusions and mpdb. So these are quick fixes that I can make sure that the team is following uploading the full packet that you provide us to documents. If a W9 or license information is attached to the documents profile when we’re processing to also attach that to the completed packet. But yeah, that’s super easy fixes. And I’m happy to flag that to the team.

Renay Ramos (06:53) Thank you, you’re welcome. And.

Rae Tompkins (06:58) Then the last thing I had just clarification on and Renay, I’m sorry, going to make you speak with the cough, just clarifying which facilities need cois, can you reconfirm?

Renay Ramos (07:11) So basically, it’s like in the notes in medallion, it’s like they’re not putting like they’ll have like the name, but like some of the facilities have like multiple, you know, same names. So if they don’t you know, distinguish which like mpi or I usually put like the address number and the name of, the town that they’re in. Yeah.

Rae Tompkins (07:37) Absolutely. I can ask the team to be more specific. And I can also send over an email of what exactly the, or what facilities exactly we need the cois for just to make that a little bit more clear?

Renay Ramos (07:48) Okay, perfect. Thank you. You’re welcome. Alrighty.

Rae Tompkins (07:52) And then the last thing I wanted to review was to see if the team had any questions on the feedback notes that were shared from our training session and kind of review high level some of those items that were flagged.

Karla Torres (08:12) Not at this moment. Rae, I’m sure we will kind of connect at a separate time to kind of discuss as we’re discussing internally.

Rae Tompkins (08:21) Absolutely. I did want to call out one of, the confusion on outreach attempts. So currently in our internal sop outreach is only being sent to admins, not providers. I think I had previously said that we were reaching out directly to the providers, but if that’s something that carenu wants to update, quick fix, and I’m happy to get that updated. But just to reiterate outreach attempts are being sent directly to admins, how.

Karla Torres (08:49) are you able to identify who is an admin versus a provider? If in the column, it just says credential and contact information.

Rae Tompkins (08:56) So, right now, admins are just distinguished as carenu admins. Oh, so anyone that exactly? Yeah.

Karla Torres (09:07) So, meaning you guys are making no, no outreaches from medallion, right? No, it was established.

Rae Tompkins (09:15) In our, you know, ongoing, you know, setting up the platform that we would reach out directly to carenu for items that were missing for provider’s profile and not reach out to them directly or their credential and contacts, so that’s where the admin tasks come into play where we’re reaching out to carenu directly to obtain the missing information.

Karla Torres (09:34) Got it. Okay.

Rae Tompkins (09:39) Alrighty. But if you, once that guide is reviewed that I sent last Friday, let me know if you have any questions. I kind of outlined the caqh terminations, if it’s listed in the caqh that a provider is no longer associated, medallion will continue processing, reviewed, importing requests through the cred tab, how to identify self serve versus full serve. So just let me know if you have any questions there as you review it.

Karla Torres (10:05) Okay. Definitely. Alrighty.

Rae Tompkins (10:08) And Renay, I will, I’ll get that file. I’ll wait, I’ll let the team know to hold off until we can get an updated attestation, but I’ll definitely flag to the team, the things that we discussed today to ensure that moving forward. All files have the required information.

Renay Ramos (10:22) Okay. Thank you.

Rae Tompkins (10:23) You’re welcome. I hope you feel better. Thank.

Renay Ramos (10:25) You bye.

Karla Torres (10:26) Renay?

Rae Tompkins (10:27) Thank you. Have a good one. Bye.

Renay Ramos (10:30) Bye bye.
