Naomi Denson (00:00) hello, you’re back again? Okay. Here’s, Melanie?
Naomi Denson (00:20) Hi, Melanie.
Naomi Denson (00:25) How are you? Good.
Melanie Cannon (00:27) I saw your email. Thank you for clarifying. I got the tabs mixed up so I can have that by the end of the day, I was looking at it and I thought I filled out. I was like, no.
Naomi Denson (00:37) Yeah, which so, because… you said practices, which… one are you saying you can update by the end of the day?
Melanie Cannon (00:48) The provider… enrollments tab? Oh, okay.
Naomi Denson (00:56) The provider enrollments tab?
Melanie Cannon (00:58) Yeah. Is that the one you were looking for? Am I still getting them?
Naomi Denson (01:00) Mixed up? I just wanted to confirm if this group enrollments tab was ready?
Melanie Cannon (01:05) Oh, gotcha. That should… be.
Naomi Denson (01:09) Well, there’s some down here that don’t have payer names on them. Yeah.
Melanie Cannon (01:14) Let me look at that. I think that goes with the provider tab that I’m looking at right now. So, let me look at that for the end of the day, I found a new data source that I can source some more of this information from. So, let me just double check that before you do that.
Naomi Denson (01:27) So, the only other one was just this practices tab. We were providing the additional information to, yes. Okay. So to patch in. Okay?
Melanie Cannon (01:37) So, definitely started that. And then, yeah, by the end of the day, I should have hopefully both the group enrollment and provider enrollment tabs filled out for you. Sorry about that mix up. Okay?
Naomi Denson (01:46) All right, perfect. I was like, I’m so confused I.
Melanie Cannon (01:49) Didn’t realize that such a big import document. It sounds dumb. I’ve just been doing a lot of ncqa stuff today. And so I didn’t like scroll all the way over in that document. And then I was like, that’s what she’s talking about. It’s like a really dumb moment when I was like, my God… I was like,
Naomi Denson (02:07) am I confused? I was confused?
Melanie Cannon (02:09) I just wanted to verify.
Naomi Denson (02:11) So, I was like, and then I saw all of like there was like edits and stuff and I was like, what am I looking at? So I feel like these are for you.
Melanie Cannon (02:20) Hold on. I can’t see the very bottom of what you’re looking at it’s like cut off on my screen, the tab that you’re looking at the bottom.
Naomi Denson (02:26) It’s the very first tab in the sheet you sent that says, edits. Okay?
Melanie Cannon (02:36) Oh, yeah. So that’s just a, you can ignore that tab. Sorry, I was like,
Naomi Denson (02:39) what is this? It was the first thing that popped up when I opened it when I downloaded it. So I was like,
Melanie Cannon (02:44) sorry, you can delete that off of your copy. Sorry, I didn’t realize I didn’t delete that when Richard and I were just figuring out what information we had and didn’t we had started a tabulation, and I must have forgotten to remove that for you. So I’m sorry about.
Naomi Denson (02:56) That? Okay. That’s okay. I was just like, what is this? Okay? Cool. Any update from caqh?
Melanie Cannon (03:03) We, no, I will pay them.
Naomi Denson (03:05) Again, if they like or from sip, it’s.
Melanie Cannon (03:09) sipa,
Naomi Denson (03:11) sipa, that needs to give us the user, add us as a user and send the email notification so that we can create our login and then the pdqs credentials for us to roster the.
Melanie Cannon (03:26) Providers, I didn’t realize. I still haven’t done that for you. That’s very annoying. Sorry about that. That’s okay. They’re dragging their feet a bit this week and losing my patience. So, sorry about that.
Naomi Denson (03:39) That’s okay. And then just checking in on the plan for communications… to providers, about medallion. And then the invite providers. I know we talked about it a little bit last week if there was any.
Melanie Cannon (03:53) She was out Thursday Friday last week and she was out Thursday Friday this week. I know we had talked about trying to push back until June first.
Naomi Denson (04:01) Yeah. I did update that on my end. Let me.
Melanie Cannon (04:08) check with her if that’s going to change our plan for communication to the providers or not. I’m guessing we’d probably push for that. We’re going for like June, I’m guessing we’d probably push for that for like beginning to mid April would be my guess to get that rolling out to the providers so that they have time to input their information. Okay? Because again, like financial information?
Naomi Denson (04:35) Yeah, we definitely want to have time to, you know, communicate with them, invite them. And then, you know, there’s hand holding that might be needed or pushing reminding things like that to get them to move. So we don’t want to do it too close to the need date, but, okay. Yeah.
Melanie Cannon (04:56) I don’t know if you want to just write a note that will maybe like discuss that more in depth next week. The invite timeline. We just, we have to get through this ncqa question survey that we’re answering for like Monday and Tuesday. So I’ll have more of a brain to figure out the exact timing of that by next week because again, I’m hopefully going to get all that enrollment tabs up to you by the end of today or at least the majority of it. So you can start uploading it. Obviously, if I don’t get to all of it, I’ll still send you what I have, but that’s my plan for today so that I can get rolling. And then, yeah, maybe next Friday, we can discuss like actual timeline for the invite and what that will look like. Okay, all.
Naomi Denson (05:36) Right. Perfect. Sounds good to me. And then the payer process. Scoping, I think you Richard maybe was working on this and you were going to do one more look at it. I think when I moved it to this new template?
Melanie Cannon (05:55) Yes. You… the thing I don’t I still don’t know is just the roster eligible piece.
Naomi Denson (06:05) Okay. Usually, I think humana is usually always a roster after.
Melanie Cannon (06:11) Like big plans. They probably have roster ability.
Naomi Denson (06:18) Sipa. Yeah, it’s how are you currently doing it?
Melanie Cannon (06:22) It’s the kind of confusing. So, sipa, the ipa, that is, it’s like quote parent, I said that loosely of these organizations… they don’t really, do they basically like claimed at the beginning that they were doing a lot of this stuff. But it turns out they don’t really like the providers do most of this themselves with the health plans.
Naomi Denson (06:44) They don’t oh, OK. The.
Melanie Cannon (06:48) answers I’ve been looking for some of this stuff which has been a little bit challenging. So.
Naomi Denson (06:54) The providers have been submitting their own.
Melanie Cannon (06:57) Yes, as far as I know.
Naomi Denson (06:58) OK. That makes sense that, you know, you wouldn’t have any internal, yeah.
Melanie Cannon (07:03) Unfortunately, I came from the plan side. So I used to know all that information. Yeah. OK.
Naomi Denson (07:11) Yeah. So we won’t worry too much about this since you don’t have any true.
Melanie Cannon (07:15) Processes.
Naomi Denson (07:16) in place internally since the providers are managing it themselves essentially… or have had been, and the goal is to not do that anymore, correct?
Melanie Cannon (07:28) Yeah, that’s the goal that we’re doing with this whole aledade, complete project, right? Is to have you guys manage it.
Naomi Denson (07:33) Yeah, perfect. So.
Melanie Cannon (07:34) Sorry, I don’t have a better answer for you that’s OK. And,
Naomi Denson (07:39) then still waiting on Noelle to get back to me on the delegation agreement, those final red lines.
Melanie Cannon (07:46) OK. Yeah. She’s not in today, so hopefully I can remind her on Monday if that’s helpful. So again, because the delegation agreement hasn’t been approved yet, I just can’t send over the credentialing P, PS yet, just because that depends on that section.
Naomi Denson (08:04) OK. That’s fine. Sorry.
Melanie Cannon (08:07) Sorry about the phone walling you?
Naomi Denson (08:09) No, I understand. I know you have a lot on your plate. Any progress on getting the credentialing policies and procedures finalized?
Melanie Cannon (08:16) They’re finalized except for that delegation piece. So that’s what I have to run through with Noelle. OK, when the delegation piece is approved. OK. So, sorry that’s where that holdup is.
Naomi Denson (08:28) OK. And then from there, we’ll discuss the credentialing committee setup and processes in medallion. And then I don’t think I updated my availability here, but did we still want to try to shoot for training soon or since we pushed out the go live date? Do we want to push that out a little bit?
Melanie Cannon (08:47) I think you already sent me an invite for the training. Didn’t you, did I?
Naomi Denson (08:49) My brain?
Melanie Cannon (08:51) No, I have it. It’s OK. One 30 to two 30 eastern next week on the 20 fifth. OK?
Naomi Denson (08:57) My, see my brain. All good. Been being out for three days. OK? Thank you for that. Yeah, you’re welcome. We both needed to be checked a little bit today. We were minded.
Melanie Cannon (09:14) It’s OK. It’s Friday. It’s been a week. Yeah. So I would, yeah, I definitely want to learn more about how to use the platform. So that’s fine with me to do it sooner rather than later. OK?
Naomi Denson (09:25) Yeah, perfect. And then I saw Nick you joined the ticket that I created earlier.
Naomi Denson (09:30) It started as a group enrollments, and then I was like, wait, what is this? And then we just confirmed that it’s just the practices tab that’s ready for the patch, fill in for the missing information that wasn’t included on the first round? Yeah.
Nick Vander Velden (09:42) Are those, are there any new ones or are we just adding info to the existing ones?
Naomi Denson (09:50) Are there any new practices that you added to this? Or is it just filling in the?
Melanie Cannon (09:55) Other field? It’s just filling in existing information? It shouldn’t be any net new. And then I’ll have the provider and group enrollments tabs either completely done or like 80 percent done by the end of today to send over so you guys can start patching that in too sweet?
Naomi Denson (10:10) Yeah. So with those tabs just let me know when they are entirely done. So we’re not trying to piece it together. So like group enrollments, when those are in that tab, is you’re completely done with that tab, let me know, and then the provider enrollments, when you’re completely done with that tab, let me know. We don’t want to import partial templates, and then, you know, cause any confusion or double work or backtracking later on? Okay?
Melanie Cannon (10:34) I’ll let you know anything.
Naomi Denson (10:36) Else that’s come up on your end. I don’t think.
Melanie Cannon (10:40) So pushing back the date was the important thing I’m… going through the con, all the contracts that cipa has to figure out our effective dates and like when the recred dates would potentially be with all the different plans.
Melanie Cannon (10:56) So I’m just, I’m going through more of that information today. Monday. Okay. So it gives me a better idea of that. I finally got access to a bunch of the contracts so I can actually read them and get that information. So that was huge.
Naomi Denson (11:09) Yes, perfect. And then I know we’re what was that? I’m.
Melanie Cannon (11:14) sorry, it’s been such a patchwork job, just slowly getting through.
Naomi Denson (11:18) It’s okay. It happens from time to time and you’ve you were new, and then Richard left and we’ll figure it out. We’ll get there. Thank you. But yeah, just reach out if you have any questions about either of those tabs, and getting those complete. And then when they’re done, just let me know and Nick and I will review and work to get them loaded. We already did the payer mapping. So as long as we don’t deviate too far from the payer names that you provided here, we should be good.
Melanie Cannon (11:45) Okay. Sounds good. All.
Naomi Denson (11:47) Right. If you need anything else at all, let me know. I hope you have a great weekend.
Melanie Cannon (11:51) Thanks, you too. Happy Friday. Everyone have a great.
Naomi Denson (11:53) Weekend. Thanks. Bye bye.
