Taylor Otten (00:29) Hey, doing well.
Ryan Lange (00:31) Awesome. Listen, I could keep it super brief. I know I’m calling you out of the blue. I was actually just checking out your LinkedIn. Saw your director of strategy over at Avera health. Just saw your bio, all about driving innovation, efficiency growth. Wanted to see if you’ve actually ever heard of medallion.
Taylor Otten (00:50) Nope.
Ryan Lange (00:51) Okay. Really quick. So what we do is automate the credentialing licensing, payer enrollment process to get providers to see patients faster. Ultimately driving revenue for the team was curious if there was a motion in place or if the team handles that manually, wanted to see if there was just any chance you’d be interested in checking out how we’re kind of centralizing all of that.
Taylor Otten (01:18) Yeah. I don’t think at this time, we’ve had two changes in that area. Recently. It’s a change and then a change back. And then we’re going live on epic here soon. So I don’t think we’re interested in that at this moment.
Ryan Lange (01:31) All right. So, I’m just curious, is the team currently handling all of that manually? The payer enrollment and credentialing process?
Taylor Otten (01:41) There’s pieces of automation, but there’s definitely people working them.
Ryan Lange (01:46) Yeah. Do you have an idea of how long the turnaround times are the only reason I ask. So what medallion does we can cut those turnaround times? Typically, it’s taking like 60 to 120 days. We can cut that down to just two days so providers can see patients almost immediately. Thus, you know, driving revenue even sooner for Avera. Do you think like even a 20 minute overview would be possible? Just knowing your role, I feel like it would be helpful to see what we’re doing.
Taylor Otten (02:17) Yeah, no, I don’t think so. And a lot of our, I mean, our credentialing our reappointments get pushed through right away and our credentialing goes through really quick because we do it all pre employment. So I don’t think we have much of an opportunity there.
Ryan Lange (02:32) No bandwidth. Alright. Well, I appreciate that. Maybe I could just send over some top line info if the time comes and it seems like there could be a good fit. I’m happy to throw just like 20 minutes on and explain, you know, how we’re moving the needle for some other orgs?
