Vanessa Persha (00:00) hey, Bree.
Brianna Humphrey (00:03) Hello. It’s just me and you this week. Woo, it is chaotic over here. So I,
Vanessa Persha (00:09) oh, no worries. I feel ya.
Brianna Humphrey (00:14) Yeah. It’s just never an easy week. I’m going to share my.
Vanessa Persha (00:21) Screen with it. Oh, goodness. Gracious. Let’s see. All right. So, starting at the bottom, I just added this one yesterday.
Vanessa Persha (00:41) So, the task is attached to Tracy or Stacy troublefield’s Florida medicaid request. I don’t know too much about like the portals and how they’re set up and everything like that. But what the team lead was saying is that like for any apps that have been rejected or have been processing for a long time, like if we have access to that group medicaid portal, we can dig in deeper than what’s available on the public website where it lets you look up the status. So if you guys can get that password reset done, there’s a couple providers whose background screening was rejected, and we’re trying to figure out why. Okay?
Brianna Humphrey (01:24) Yeah, I’ll go over that with dr Henderson. Okay? I’ll go over that with isbeth next Monday as well just to give her an update. Okay?
Vanessa Persha (01:33) Perfect. And then that Washington medicaid one, did these instructions make sense? Have you had a chance to look at these?
Brianna Humphrey (01:41) Yeah. I sent it to dr Henderson too. So, I guess, and again, this could be a dumb question. They are trying to understand why? I guess it’s technically hold on actually. Let me just review this last paragraph. Okay. Yeah. So this might be a dumb question, but I guess they’re asking why it’s needed if there’s already completed enrollments with Washington? Like why is it needed for Caitlin amicone? Like why is it being requested if we’ve already had successful enrollments with Washington medicaid applications, you know? Yeah. And now it’s being requested. So, yeah.
Vanessa Persha (02:24) No, no, that’s okay. So, from what I understand, the way that the team lead explained it to me is this is adding an additional user because we’re bringing in additional resources to help with enrollments and things like that. So she is creating her own account to be connected to your account. Okay?
Brianna Humphrey (02:48) That makes sense. I feel like that’s more of an in depth question because me and her were trying to figure it out last week with dr Henderson, but we might review that next meeting next week. I’m going to try to explain it to her best to my advantage, but I did copy and paste this and send it to dr Henderson. I just checked and didn’t receive an update from her. Okay? So if we can just keep that open in case I need to just say, hey, like dr Henderson said, this, blah, blah, yeah.
Vanessa Persha (03:15) And it’s not that we don’t have access to the portal like we have other users that have access. It’s just this additional person. Okay? Excuse me, Iowa medicaid correspondence email. So we just found out from Iowa medicaid that any notices for like additional information being requested from, for an application or approval letters, they are all going to an email address clinicaltn at carebridgehealth. Com. And as far as we know, nothing has been forwarded to medallion from that email box. So we’re just curious like if you guys have been receiving like denials, requests for additional information or approval letters that you guys could forward over to us?
Brianna Humphrey (04:07) Iowa, correct? Yes, they.
Vanessa Persha (04:10) Would have come from Michael davenport at HHS, Iowa. Gov.
Brianna Humphrey (04:19) Yeah. We have access to that email. It’s just me and Isabel. So we’ve been really behind with this email. We have them pinned but we haven’t I haven’t had the chance this week to go through them.
Brianna Humphrey (04:33) I don’t see any though. This is Virginia. I know they’ve been adding medallion support.
Brianna Humphrey (04:45) But not to waste time. I don’t see you said Michael davenport?
Vanessa Persha (04:51) Yeah, Michael davenport at HHS, Iowa. Gov. Yeah, I didn’t see.
Brianna Humphrey (05:01) Any from him. We.
Vanessa Persha (05:02) Did ask them, like if we could update the email address on file with them? Because there’s not a place on the individual provider applications to put an email. So if we did it, we’d have to do it for the whole group. And what we’re concerned about is like if you guys get any kind of billing inquiries or something like, that wouldn’t come to medallion. We don’t want it to come to our mailbox if that’s not where it should go.
Brianna Humphrey (05:30) Yeah. I don’t I typed in his email and I see, because like all the ones that we receive from them, like from whatever state we always pin them before. But I don’t see any from him.
Vanessa Persha (05:45) Okay. Yeah.
Brianna Humphrey (05:46) I see Ohio… he.
Vanessa Persha (05:50) Had shared with our team that like he sent a request for additional information for Bianca posada, like recently to that clinical TN email.
Brianna Humphrey (06:07) I’m terrified if it’s going to junk, but it says nothing’s in here. Let me see. Yeah, I don’t see anything. I’ll go over that with isbath.
Vanessa Persha (06:20) Okay.
Brianna Humphrey (06:22) Let me make note really quick. Iowa, correct? Is yep, okay. Inches… that’ll work?
Brianna Humphrey (06:46) Okay. I made a note. I’ll go over that with her Monday when she gets in and see what’s going on and why we’re not getting him.
Vanessa Persha (06:53) Okay, perfect. And then Texas medicaid revalidation. I flagged this back on the nineteenth that there was an admin task requesting additional documents. Do you guys still need me to keep this one open?
Brianna Humphrey (07:10) Give me one second.
Brianna Humphrey (07:19) Let me check. You said it was answered. I see her note where it says there was information requested. Was it sent?
Vanessa Persha (07:25) Yeah. So the, okay. Yeah.
Brianna Humphrey (07:28) No, we can keep that one closed if there’s a task already. If there’s a task open with the documents needed, we should be good there.
Vanessa Persha (07:35) Okay, perfect. Excuse me. And then Maria Rivera’s Arizona medicaid. So I went through this one. Let me, we didn’t talk about this one yet, right? No, I just did this one. After our meeting. I did a deep dive into this one and found out that like the repeated submissions were not actually her application. It was the domain transfer request, which I’m not sure if you’re familiar with Arizona medicaid, but we have to get a domain transfer request. It’s a letter that’s signed by the provider, but Arizona medicaid is so specific, like if you are missing anything or you don’t put the correct subject line in the email, they don’t even look at it. So from what I could see through the history, like they were just our domain transfer requests weren’t even getting looked at, and that was what was being resubmitted. Okay? But I did flag that for the PE ops team to look into. Because what I see on the line now is that the application, like the payers requesting for a brand new enrollment because they’re saying that she was originally enrolled as an RN and not an NP and they can’t just do a demographic update to change that we have to do a whole new application. Okay? And we did her initial enrollment. So I escalated this to say, like how the heck did we enroll her as an RN when she’s been an NP and how to like let’s get this fixed ASAP. Okay. Joanna Ritchie’s Arizona medicaid. It’s been in process for a long time as well. I also escalated that one and asked them to do just kind of a root cause analysis and provide me with a summary of their findings because it was very difficult for me to make heads or tails of all the notes and exactly what transpired there. So as soon as I have an update from them, I’ll update the line here.
Brianna Humphrey (09:35) Okay, perfect.
Vanessa Persha (09:37) All of the Texas medicades are part of the cap review that is still ongoing. I have that open internally and we are escalating anything that’s over 90 days where we have already sent an escalation email to Texas medicaid?
Brianna Humphrey (09:53) Okay, perfect.
Vanessa Persha (09:56) Washington medicaid enrollment. This one looks like it’s a duplicate technically to… this one down here about the question. So I think I’ll just close that one out.
Brianna Humphrey (10:09) Okay. It’s the same thing.
Vanessa Persha (10:11) It’s the same thing. Yeah, these are just the instructions like this is the username and email address that we need added to that portal. Yeah… Catherine badra’s, New Jersey medicaid app. So, this one, I believe if I’m not mistaken, we are going to process her revalidation using the existing line. Basically what we tried to do the initial enrollment and the payer came back and said she’s already par, but she’s due for revalidation. So we tasked and said, please submit a revalidation request but isbeth couldn’t submit it because the initial enrollment request was still sitting open. So the team lead told the agent to go ahead and process using that line as the revalidation.
Brianna Humphrey (11:00) Okay. And that’s updated in the notes. It?
Vanessa Persha (11:03) Should be, let me go in there because I hate to say yes. And then it’s not in there. So let’s look at it real quick.
Vanessa Persha (11:25) Who is that again? Oops.
Vanessa Persha (11:32) Where was the one? Oh, Catherine badra?
Brianna Humphrey (11:40) Yeah. So it looks like they did with revalidation, even though this is a new enrollment. Yeah, I see the notes.
Vanessa Persha (11:45) Are there? Yep? Okay. Perfect. So, I’m going to do this here. Agent is going to submit reval.
Brianna Humphrey (11:56) It looks like they did actually. Okay. Yeah, it says processing followed up on submitted app. Yeah.
Vanessa Persha (12:17) Okay, perfect. And then I’ll mark that one closed. Okay. Here’s, another Texas medicaid that’s part of that escalation. Okay? Menci, saint, lot, New Jersey NP license. So this one, the provider has a task right now because the ceus they provided for the opioid prescription were outdated. So they’re just requesting additional ceus that are not too old. Okay? Do you want me to go ahead and close that one then?
Brianna Humphrey (12:53) Yep. If there’s a task out, we should be good to close perfect.
Vanessa Persha (12:57) Next one, Vonda Adkins looks like the board was still missing some required information and it was just sent to them again on 311. So that’s why that one’s still processing.
Brianna Humphrey (13:11) Okay. Hold on. So you said I said I’m gonna send it forward on 311. Okay? So it’s still processing? Okay, cool. We’re good to close that one as well. Awesome.
Vanessa Persha (13:18) Okay. And then… let’s see New Jersey medicaid. So this is all part of the cap. Like everything’s being reviewed.
Brianna Humphrey (13:29) That one then?
Vanessa Persha (13:33) Rachel Fernandez, Texas wellpoint, let’s see if they completed that one.
Vanessa Persha (14:04) OK, she fixed the revalidation dates.
Vanessa Persha (14:11) Let’s just make sure that the existing enrollment is updated as well.
Vanessa Persha (14:21) Yep. Those have been updated so we can go ahead and close that one out, perfect.
Brianna Humphrey (14:27) This week’s, meeting is easy. I know why.
Vanessa Persha (14:31) Can’t isbeth be here? She can see all of my things being closed. Okay?
Vanessa Persha (14:41) And then… we can close this one. The Michigan imlc, they confirmed that they are still participating the bill was signed. So you guys do not need to request, yeah.
Brianna Humphrey (14:59) I think Mitch, I think Mitch sent this out that over Monday. Yep. I think you were looped into, I’m not sure if you were, but I had saw that his update. So, my God, that’s.
Vanessa Persha (15:09) it.
Brianna Humphrey (15:10) yep. Look.
Vanessa Persha (15:11) At how many completed things we have.
Brianna Humphrey (15:13) I’m so excited.
Vanessa Persha (15:16) Goodness. Okay. And then I continue to monitor all of these states to make sure that your enrollments are trending in the right direction. I had a really great session earlier this week with the PE ops team, just going like line by line on all of your open items, any follow ups that are overdue and they’re committed to getting those completed timely. So, it’s been really good. We’re making progress for sure.
Brianna Humphrey (15:42) Awesome. Yeah, I have to, I have noticed, I haven’t this week. I haven’t been able to go through priority stations because with me just being here, but I did, when I did check on a couple, I was like, okay, so there are, you know, up to date updates, which is good. So, yeah.
Vanessa Persha (15:54) Awesome. Very good. All right. Well, this was easy. We didn’t need the full hour this week, yeah.
Brianna Humphrey (16:01) I was gonna say this is where you do the easiest meeting. Thank you so much. We appreciate you. Yeah.
Vanessa Persha (16:07) No problem. Let me know if you guys need anything else, okay?
Brianna Humphrey (16:10) All right. Bye.
