Lisa De Sena (00:00) hello? Hello. Hi, this is.
Ellington Loy (00:04) Hello. Hi. Is this Lisa? Hey, this is Ellington from medallion. I’m following up on an email that I sent over to you this week. Does medallion ring a bell by chance?
Lisa De Sena (00:16) It does not, which email address did you send it to?
Ellington Loy (00:21) Let me check actually.
Lisa De Sena (00:23) And what is medallions?
Ellington Loy (00:25) So, we streamline credentialing and peer enrollment. Let’s see… if I can find the email I sent you. Yeah, we do. We actually just partnered with hannies. I know that garnet is a part of hannies, and we were just named their official partner for credentialing enrollment. We really do everything privileging really, all of the above, but just wanted to reach out and, you know, share what we’re seeing across other, you know, health systems, hospitals across New York state. I found that email. I sent it to lisad at garnethelp org. Is that your email?
Lisa De Sena (00:36) So, you’re a company that does that?
Lisa De Sena (01:12) No, that’s not. And honestly, if I, that would be taking away my job. So, I’m not going to honestly entertain it just because I like to keep my job with the organization and not have my position outsourced.
Ellington Loy (01:25) Okay. Gotcha. So, are you a specialist or we?
Lisa De Sena (01:30) Nope. I’m the director of credentialing for the medical group. So, I handle all the professional enrollment for the providers, as well as the credentialing with the facility for privileging. So, that is my role.
Ellington Loy (01:40) Gotcha. Well. So, we work with in house teams. We don’t replace people. We automate the process. So, we have like a bunch of technology that’s able for us to be able to automate 80 percent of the process because we’re directly integrated with caqh. So, we work with in house teams. We’re not trying to take anyone’s job and, you know, force people out. So, you know, we work with in house teams,
Lisa De Sena (02:10) We already have software that we use that integrates with caqh, currently that we’re using?
Ellington Loy (02:16) Oh, really? Who are y’all, using? If you don’t mind me asking?
Lisa De Sena (02:21) We have Symplr the care track systems are Symplr.
Ellington Loy (02:26) Okay. Gotcha. Yeah, we, medallion’s actually the only, company in this space that has a bi directional API, with caqh. So how are y’all, able to get that data with symplr from caqh since you say that they integrate with them?
Lisa De Sena (02:50) They can do that portion of it. We don’t allow them to because in my experience with the last two companies that we were working with, it was actually making things worse. So, we manage the caqh profiles ourselves on the rotating basis.
Ellington Loy (03:00) Great.
Ellington Loy (03:04) Gotcha. Okay. So, that makes total sense. Yeah. Well, it was nice to get to talk to you and learn a little bit more about, what y’all, are doing at garnet. And, I mean, if it would make sense to set up, you know, 20 minutes to see if medallion could complement what you have in house or how we would compare to symplr, I’m not sure if you’d be open to that, but, we have availability next week if you had some availability.
Lisa De Sena (03:42) I honestly don’t and right now, we’re okay with the way the program is working. We’re a small team and we manage everything fine at the current time. But thank you for your time.
Ellington Loy (03:50) Okay. Yeah, of course. Thank… you too. Bye.
Lisa De Sena (03:54) Have a good day. Thanks, bye bye.
