Phone Caller #1 (00:00) welcome to friendship community care.

Phone Caller #1 (00:13) This is Bailey.

Jaz Kemp (00:14) Hey, Bailey. Sorry, I just called you. I think my connection was poor. This is Jasmine medallion.

Phone Caller #1 (00:19) Hi. How are you?

Jaz Kemp (00:21) I’m good. How about you? How’s your week going?

Phone Caller #1 (00:23) It is going good. I was actually left on Thursday last week and went out to California to see my family. And so, I’m coming back here and getting in like the, you know, back to reality of life. I’m like my gosh.

Jaz Kemp (00:25) Yeah. Oh my gosh.

Jaz Kemp (00:36) Yeah. Where were you in California? I’m based in California.

Phone Caller #1 (00:40) Huntington Beach.

Jaz Kemp (00:42) Oh, no way. That’s such a I’m trying to remember, I think last week too, was, it was like, it was really hot here, right?

Phone Caller #1 (00:48) Yes, it was very hot there.

Jaz Kemp (00:50) Oh, my gosh. Did you have a good trip though?

Phone Caller #1 (00:52) We did. We traveled into la. I’m not sure if you’re on tiktok, but my husband and I are, and we found these like.

Jaz Kemp (00:55) Oh, yeah.

Phone Caller #1 (01:00) What are they called? The moose pastries? Have you heard of those? Were they like dippelman?

Jaz Kemp (01:02) Wait, no, I need a look, moose pastries.

Phone Caller #1 (01:06) You need to look because they are absolutely delicious and we drove all the way into la to get them and it was worth the drive like absolutely.

Jaz Kemp (01:15) Wait, it’s just called moose pastry in la.

Phone Caller #1 (01:17) They’re called the fancy pastries in la and you’ll see what I’m talking about?

Jaz Kemp (01:22) Oh my God, I need to go on tiktok. Yeah, I’m in San Diego, but I always get so tempted because there’s so much like.

Phone Caller #1 (01:28) Well, look up the fancy pastries in San Diego because I think there was an option in San Diego. I think where we drove was burbank, but there were lots of other options.

Jaz Kemp (01:29) Food?

Jaz Kemp (01:37) Oh, yeah.

Phone Caller #1 (01:40) In the la area?

Jaz Kemp (01:40) Oh my gosh.

Phone Caller #1 (01:42) But they were delicious.

Jaz Kemp (01:42) That’s so funny. Oh my gosh. Yeah, I’m looking.

Phone Caller #1 (01:46) Probably some of the best desserts we’ve had in a while honestly, the coconut was my favorite if you like coconut.

Jaz Kemp (01:51) Okay. Yum. I love how you’re like telling me stuff to do in my.

Jaz Kemp (01:57) my own state because there is just so much food here. I know like you’re like across like the country and you’re like girl, you gotta go to like the fancy pastry like, I will go, I love food.

Phone Caller #1 (01:59) Yeah. How funny.

Phone Caller #1 (02:10) But, and they have all different kinds of them, like any kind of fruit, you can imagine. They’ve got them there and it’s always in the shape of the fruit. Like if it’s a blueberry, it’s going to be in the shape of a blueberry and be blueberry flavored and have blueberries on the inside. I mean, all kinds of stuff.

Jaz Kemp (02:24) Oh, my gosh. That’s so cool. I’m like going to look on tiktok, I’m so going to get influenced to go here. Oh, yeah, I see it. It’s like super, wow, this is insane. It literally looks like a fruit.

Jaz Kemp (02:37) Oh, wow. Okay. I’ve got to go though. Well, girl, you made me hungry and I,

Phone Caller #1 (02:43) hey, just drive over there and get some.

Jaz Kemp (02:47) I was calling, I was just thinking it’d be easier if we could just schedule time on Angela’s calendar. I know she said, yeah, do you want to just pull up her availability? I figured that would be just the best way.

Phone Caller #1 (02:55) Okay.

Phone Caller #1 (03:01) Yes. And can you honestly jazz, it might be something that I could help you with?

Jaz Kemp (03:07) Okay.

Phone Caller #1 (03:08) Is there anything like, can you tell me specifically what you’re wanting to talk with Angela about? And it might be something that like I go talk to her. I get the answers you need. We make it deal and you don’t really have to meet with her. And you know what I mean?

Jaz Kemp (03:19) Yeah, yeah, yeah. Basically, so we are an AI company and we can reduce opex by eliminating the manual credentialing workflow. So, you know, that means fast onboarding time, which then with you guys, you’re a nonprofit time to revenues, increase fuel claims to denial. I know like what Angela and I talked about when we chatted was that, I know you guys are hiring that role?

Jaz Kemp (03:47) and, you know, she was saying like we’ve looked at vendors, but we, you know, sometimes it makes sense to just keep it because of the financial cost. So, we were kind of going to do like more of like a strategic breakdown of like what does it look like for friendship community care of like if you guys did partner with medallion, how much money could we really save you guys versus like hiring that specialist that you’re looking for? So it’s more of like a more strategic conversation just to like the value that we could provide especially because I know numbers are tight like, you know, you guys are a non profit. You’re just like kind of doing the right thing for people. So, I know that like money isn’t like, you know, you’re not backed by private equity or anything like that. So, you know, we’re able to average credentialing into one day, which is like normally like, you know, that’s not the case for most companies. So that’s why we were going to.

Phone Caller #1 (04:18) Right.

Jaz Kemp (04:34) She was open to connecting and she was just like, so overwhelmed and didn’t have a calendar and that’s why I was like, okay, you know, I don’t want to, I don’t want to bombard her.

Phone Caller #1 (04:39) Yes. Let me. So, with the two hour time difference, if I send you any times know that they are Central Time. Okay?

Jaz Kemp (04:50) Yep. That’s fine.

Phone Caller #1 (04:52) Okay. Can you give me your email address one more time?

Jaz Kemp (04:56) Oh, yeah, absolutely. It’s going to be, Jay, do we want to just pull up the calendar now? Would that be easier?

Phone Caller #1 (05:03) Well, what I’m going to do, she’s in a board meeting right now and I’m about to go to lunch. So whenever I come back, I can be like, hey, do you want a full hour? Do you want 30 minutes? Like what can she, what can she spare? And if she says like 30 minutes, then it’s going to make me just go and look at her calendar and be like, hey here’s, 30 minutes here here’s, an hour here, and I can place it super quick, but I can give you some options. You know what I mean? Okay?

Jaz Kemp (05:26) We only really just need like 30 minutes because like, you know, we’ll be, yeah, because we’re just going to see like, is it a fit for you guys even? And if not, like, you know, that’s, I told her like no big deal.

Phone Caller #1 (05:29) 30 minutes.

Phone Caller #1 (05:36) Okay. Let me see. She is out a bunch next week.

Jaz Kemp (05:40) Okay.

Phone Caller #1 (05:44) So, yeah, jez I’m going to have to get with her and see where, you know, she wants it to fall into place. I don’t really like putting things on her counter without talking to her.

Jaz Kemp (05:51) Yeah, because I think she was saying the last sure, no, that’s fair. Okay. Yeah, I know when we talked, she was like, yeah, I think it was last week we talked on this one. She was like, yeah, the last next two weeks, it’s end of quarter, you know? So like, I think C suite.

Jaz Kemp (06:03) You know, worried about like.

Phone Caller #1 (06:03) Absolutely.

Jaz Kemp (06:04) So, yeah, talk to her and then let me give you my email. It’s going to be Jasmine. So, J a SMIN.

Phone Caller #1 (06:06) Okay. All righty.

Jaz Kemp (06:13) And then at medallion MED a LLI o N dot C o?

Phone Caller #1 (06:22) All righty. Jasmine, I’ll reach out to you in just a little while, okay?

Jaz Kemp (06:27) Yeah, I appreciate that. Yeah, because I know she said like when we talked, I think my emails, I told you this go to spam, because I was like, if you could just reply and she’s like, yeah, I’ll definitely do that. And she never did. I mean, a, she’s just super busy, but B, I think it goes to spam. And so, I was like, let’s just get this sorted and then, you know, if it makes sense, cool, if not no big deal.

Phone Caller #1 (06:29) You too.

Phone Caller #1 (06:37) Sometimes it does go to spam. Yeah.

Phone Caller #1 (06:45) Yes, ma’am absolutely well. I’ll be in touch. Okay?

Jaz Kemp (06:48) All right. Thank you so much. Maile. Thank you now. I got to go to la, bye.

Phone Caller #1 (06:48) You have a good day. Okay? Yes, ma’am. Bye. Hey, yeah. Let me know. You call me and you let me know if you loved him or not. Okay?

Jaz Kemp (06:55) I’m going to be like Maile, guess where I was literally, okay. Bye.

Phone Caller #1 (06:57) All right. See ya. Bye.
