Michael Massey (00:00) hey, Janice. How are you?

Janice Lopez (00:05) Hello. Good morning. I’m doing well. How are you?

Michael Massey (00:08) Doing well. Thank you. So we’ll kind of just jump right into it. Sure. Basically, I’m kind of like the glorified, you know, information gatherer, make sure everything’s a good fit for you guys and us as well. So, yeah, I’ll kind of jump right into it. Okay, just to confirm off the bat, I see you submitted, you guys have 9,500 providers, is that correct?

Janice Lopez (00:33) Yes.

Michael Massey (00:35) Gotcha. And in the next let’s say six to 12 months, are you guys going to be growing past 9,500 providers or staying pretty consistent there?

Janice Lopez (00:46) I’m probably not the best person to answer this, but maybe stay consistent. I’m not 100 percent sure. I guess, let me just give you a little background real quick. So I’m Janice, I’m a senior business systems analyst from the it side from community health group. And I was pretty much just tasked to reach out to a couple vendors, see what’s out there. We’re currently using symplr, okay, as our credentialing platform, and like managing our providers. And again, we’re just tasked to look at different platforms or vendors that can assist. It seems like it’s a very manual process for our credentialing team. So we’re trying to streamline the process… and, yeah, kind of just do initial demos with a few vendors and see if it’s you know, something we want to move forward with. And then I also request pricing. So unfortunately, I’m no subject matter expert, but I can do my best to answer your question.

Michael Massey (01:46) No, that’s perfectly fine. I appreciate the background too. So you guys are moving away from symplr. And is it just purely just because it’s a manual process or is there anything else that’s kind of giving you guys to maybe consider using someone else outside of symplr?

Janice Lopez (02:01) I think it’s just mainly like pain points from the business side. Again. I don’t know all the details but I know it’s just a very, it takes a very long process for our credentialing team and we’re just trying to streamline the process, see if maybe there’s another I don’t know platform that can assist with some of these things that they need. But yeah, that’s kind of all the info I really have.

Michael Massey (02:23) Gotcha. No, that’s perfectly fine on that side of it for the team since it’s a manual process. Have you guys been like adding on additional staff? Are you guys staying kind of consistent with your current team but just looking to have something that assists them?

Janice Lopez (02:39) Oh, sorry. Can you repeat that one more time?

Michael Massey (02:41) Have you guys been like hiring on additional staff to handle your guys’ current process or kind of staying level? Yeah.

Janice Lopez (02:48) Pretty level. I think, yeah, I think that’s what’s pretty difficult with the team? Yeah.

Michael Massey (02:55) That makes complete sense. So, yeah, 95 providers, at least from the it side since you’re on that side of it, do you have like any involvement or any pain points personally with like using symplr that you don’t like or just out of curiosity?

Janice Lopez (03:11) I think, the… hard part with me right now is just… again, well, we’re an on Prem solution with symplr. So, a lot of the times when we need some help with troubleshooting, like I have to get involved with our infrastructure team to try and, yeah… work with, the symplr team. But, but, yeah, I think that troubleshooting is just difficult. And I guess this is kind of again, on the it side, not really using the user interface or anything like that, but… I think that’s the struggle at least, from our side, but again, from their side, I know there’s a lot of manual work that needs to be done, a lot of bugs getting encountered, in some of the versions that they have to do workarounds for. Again, no specific details there, but, yeah, I know that’s something they’ve expressed to me during some of our meetings?

Michael Massey (04:04) Gotcha. That makes sense. And now, are you guys using, out of curiosity, are you guys hooking up symplr with anything like any, like integrations with symplr or is it just strictly symplr and then using like spreadsheets or another, way to do it outside of symplr too. I?

Janice Lopez (04:20) Believe it’s, just symplr, that no current like integrations true, at least, yeah, in, any of the other applications that we currently use gotcha.

Michael Massey (04:32) Okay. Well, I’ve got, at least from my side of it, I’ve got pretty much everything I need personally. The next step would begin you with one of our account specialists. That looks like it’s gonna be Jordan tantlip. I’m gonna go ahead and send over a few proposed times for you. Just to your email, give me like five, 10 minutes, but I’ll shoot over some proposed times so we can do a really deep dive. Is there anyone else you’d want to add on from the team, from this point for the next meeting or?

Janice Lopez (05:01) Yes. So, for this, I guess for the next steps, what you mentioned, meeting with, that, the other, specialists, would they be doing like a full on demo, of, the system or I guess what’s the call, the next call?

Michael Massey (05:16) We typically want to do a deeper dive. So, I know you’re from the it perspective, we’d love to get like possibly some folks from like the actual credentialing team if they’d love to hop on. Just so when we do a demo, which would be, you know, third step, it’s really, we can really dial into their pain points if that makes sense. You know, so we’re not showing you something that’s just like, okay, the user UI looks good. You know, we want to pinpoint exactly like, hey, this is your guys’ problem with the manual work and then demonstrate, hey, we can solve that a, from Z, from that manual perspective.

Janice Lopez (05:51) Okay. I just know, I guess again, the ask from our operations team was just to get an initial demo at least for we’re trying not to get the business involved quite yet. So the request was to get a demo for our CIO, our chief information officer, our director of is, and then my manager and myself just to kind of get an overview and a sense of the system before we start bringing over the business. So I don’t know if that’s possible. And again, that was the ask.

Michael Massey (06:30) I’ll make that happen. Perfect. Yeah, I’ll make that happen. That’s no problem at all. Since we don’t want them involved yet, I’ll go ahead and I’ll mention that directly to Jordan like, hey, this is what’s going on, you know, CIO manager and you are hopping on like we want to go over the platform pricing, and then we can bring them in as needed.

Janice Lopez (06:49) Perfect. Yes.

Michael Massey (06:52) Awesome. Well, give me like five minutes. I’m going to shoot over an email, just introductory, email with Jordan on there as well, and shoot over some proposed times so we can get it knocked out.

Janice Lopez (07:02) Awesome. Definitely appreciate your time today, Michael. Thank you so much for making.

Michael Massey (07:06) It.

Janice Lopez (07:06) easy, no problem at.

Michael Massey (07:07) All. And thanks for hopping on.

Janice Lopez (07:09) Of course. Thank you so much.

Michael Massey (07:11) No problem. You have a good one.

Janice Lopez (07:12) Okay. You too bye.
