Lyndsey Farmer (00:00) how are you? Hi, Angie. How are you?
Angelica Soto (00:02) I’m good. Thank you. How are you doing? All?
Lyndsey Farmer (00:04) Right. It’s.
Angelica Soto (00:06) Friday? Yeah, I know Lydia’s not with us, so it’s going to be relatively… short. Okay? And then I was off most of the week. So, I know.
Lyndsey Farmer (00:15) I hope you enjoyed yourself.
Angelica Soto (00:17) I did good. So, a couple things that I need, there might be Kruti joining us. She might, if you see someone trying to Kruti, so she’ll be joining us.
Lyndsey Farmer (00:24) Okay.
Angelica Soto (00:25) Okay. Just a couple things. Dr Chris vercom and grandjean his… CSR pharmacy license for Nevada. It’s taking it’s.
Angelica Soto (00:33) Taking way too long. It’s been over two and a half months that’s just so unacceptable not saying that, but there, has, I saw, I went into the notes and I see you guys are, I don’t know what they look at. I don’t know if they’re just looking into a port or no one’s calling. I need more visibility on this. Sure. And it’s holding up just so you know, dr Chris is a supervising physician. He’s holding up a bunch of mid levels right now, again, this licensing is not him personally, but so we got to get this licensing done ASAP. Okay?
Lyndsey Farmer (01:01) And who is this for?
Angelica Soto (01:02) Dr Chris verkerman, VERC a MMEN because I don’t see that it’s complete. So, I don’t know, you know, at this point, I, we just need to get this done like I’ve never, even when I’ve done them personally, they don’t take this long.
Lyndsey Farmer (01:17) Yep, absolutely. I will get right on that.
Angelica Soto (01:19) And if you could email attach Sylvia on there, there’s nothing I could do. She’s been, she can’t join in. She’s helping a little bit cause this was one of the enrollments that’s already in process, so she can’t do it. So it’s kind of, you know, we need to know, so make sure you include Sylvia in that email.
Lyndsey Farmer (01:36) Okay. And what license? This is a CSR license correct?
Angelica Soto (01:39) Nevada. Yes, controlled substance registration in Nevada. Okay. It’s just taking too long. There’s no, I see emails but all it is, I don’t see people I need. I don’t know how that works, particular unit works, but I just need as far as calling or whatever, but I just need more. It’s just taking too long. I can’t have it sitting around that long. Okay. Yeah, absolutely. I’m not sure what’s going on.
Lyndsey Farmer (02:01) I will get with them today on that. So I will send them a date as soon as I get one.
Angelica Soto (02:06) Thank you. Yeah. And so… medicaid’s been a huge thorn in my ass in California for a long time. So cruti’s going to help. And I’m really grateful. And I, again, I think it’s, the pay portals. Some of my providers understand, some of them don’t there’s also that lag time with that certificate that I’ve been asking you guys to. Yeah, somehow you guys need to request it way in advance, but I’m doing it because I’m not sure. I know you guys got, I don’t know if it’s an it issue or what part of it?
Lyndsey Farmer (02:35) Is, yeah.
Angelica Soto (02:36) Yeah. I think it needs to be cause that’s holding up that’s a holdup. Like you guys should ask for that right away. A task that should be tasked up in the first steps versus at the end. Okay? But that’s an ongoing issue that has been resolved with medallion. So I’m doing it on my end. I understand it takes about four weeks. So when you do it, right? If you task it from the beginning, by the time your people get to it, it’s better. So, I’ve been asking Molly about this for a long time. I think I’m sure, I’m not the only one in California that you deal with that might have this hiccup. So that might be something that you need to see about it tasking going to your it. People are just creating a task for that certificate. It’s typically with nurse practitioners. And I’m not 100 percent about pas. MDS are not a problem. They could pull those up in a minute. It’s very different. So I really think that needs to be addressed. So medi, cal, medicaid in California, crudy’s going to be helping with medicaid in California… but she wants to understand it more. And honestly, I feel like I’m not the appropriate one to teach because I’m struggling extremely with that one. So there’s a couple of things. We have tons. We need to get California medicaid on. I have over 100 providers. Okay? I don’t want to click the button because it’s going to scare me half to death and I just don’t have the volume of me. So crudy’s helping us out, but I think if crudy understands it a little bit more, she’ll be able to help. Can you guys? So you guys, so I do know that you guys have tutorials. When, you guys send me tutorials, when I’m going to need for a provider to E, sign. So I’ve seen those doesn’t help, but I’ve seen them again. I’m glad it’s just not me when I had a meeting with the person that just left your, I don’t know what her name was, Janine or Jane? Yeah.
Lyndsey Farmer (04:17) Janine? She?
Angelica Soto (04:17) Was she said it is a very, the platform is just weird like I get it. Like she says a lot of people have trouble with it. So crudy needs like an in service from someone that understands medicaid California.
Lyndsey Farmer (04:29) Okay. It’s.
Angelica Soto (04:30) not me because it’s just not going to happen like Angie doesn’t understand it herself and it’s going to be Lydia and myself again just so you know, and it’s not you guys when I first did the California enrollment for group, I did it myself. I didn’t have you guys do it because unfortunately, it was taking too long but I did it, but I also came at a standstill. I did not know what to do signing back and forth. So at the time you guys had Maya haggins… and then I requested one person for California and that we could email when we have. And it was only in reference to medicaid California. So I was able to get with a lot of push. You guys took too long for me took over a month to get me somebody, but two months actually probably we had to get all and everybody involved because you guys just took too long in the sense of getting people to teach us and I guess maybe there’s obstacles. I get it. I get it. But what I need is I also need a point of contact from a payer that now I’m not saying to you but I want to go to someone direct that understands medicaid California. Ever since ms Higgins left, I don’t have that person. Yeah, you know, and I’m gonna there’s a couple of emails I’ll probably send you next week of things that I’ve been stuck on and they’re not responding. And I don’t know what the provider’s doing. I can’t help a provider if I don’t understand sure. And I didn’t understand. I sent your people a picture of why does it say? this? And they haven’t responded back to me or they’ll tell me to contact my administrator. I’m the administrator. So I’m kind of going in circles. So I have about 33 applications out. I think I was told yesterday and I need to get these moving. Again again, I haven’t moved them because if I don’t know what to do, how am I going to help anybody else? Right? So truti’s there to help because we’ve got to really get this flourishing a lot better than what it is. Okay. So if you could put a meeting together, it’s strictly someone has to know medicaid California. They’ve got to know the portals now. Just so, you know, before I got Maya, I got other people that didn’t know it, get me somebody that knows what to do. I just can’t I need someone that understands the pave. Portal in California. Okay.
Lyndsey Farmer (06:34) I will try to find out.
Angelica Soto (06:36) Yeah, because that’s also not.
Lyndsey Farmer (06:38) Me, I have never done California. I know it is a beast.
Angelica Soto (06:41) Thank you. I.
Lyndsey Farmer (06:42) Know that, but I have never had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with it. So, but yeah, I do know, I do know and I hear from everyone that California is just a no.
Angelica Soto (06:57) Yeah. And I know one of my providers did something wrong and I accepted it, but I haven’t signed the E signature for dr geis because I think she did the enrollment. I think she enrolled a business. So I’m like, okay, there’s another question. So if I don’t know, I’m not going to accept anything, right? Dr geis is like, well, because it came over in the pave portal differently than the usual because I have seen some providers do it fine. They’re like, okay, you did it. Yeah. How’d you do it? Like? Okay, thank you. I don’t even ask questions, right? I just think it was done. Thank you. Bye. But anyways, it’s just and again, I have gone through the tutorials and I understand, I’ve seen them. I just, you know, it’s a struggle for me. So, I’m not doing my company a favor, but not by myself struggling. So I need you as experts to kind of help us in here and get us going. So if you could put something together for next week, it’ll be myself, crudy, and Lydia. Okay. She’s great. And she’s willing to help us because we’re trying to get California, you know, going medicaid and that’s a big hiccup.
Lyndsey Farmer (07:58) Yeah. Okay. So that would be good. I will reach out and see what we can figure out for that. Yeah.
Angelica Soto (08:03) And if you could send tutorials in advance, crudy, reads them at night. She’s great. You could just send emails about the tutorials. All right. You guys have sent me some. I have them in they’re like in medallion. So I just open them up, you know, but she doesn’t okay. So whatever’s easier, you know, to show her. And then again maybe like a step by step, I think the struggle I have is when the provider does it, some providers don’t understand it when they get an email, what to do when they open it. Then they kind of well, I clicked here. I clicked here but it doesn’t let me sign. And then that’s where we struggle. So anyways, just a tutorial about how to do it best. And I would like a one on one. I had to get Julie. Like I said, I had to get people involved last time we got Maya hagans involved because it took a lot. I know as account manager there’s only so much you could do, but nobody helped. It came at a standstill. So they finally gave me Maya hagans. And I got an email. They didn’t want to give me an email. I’m not going to. All I want to know is about medicaid. I need someone who’s medicaid and of course we’ll do it based on the tasks. You know, that was it, you know, and my, you know, what I liked about Maya hagans is she was blunt and to the point and, you know, she helped, you know, bottom line. So there’s only so much we could do. So that’s kind of one of the biggest things and it’s a struggle for me. So let’s just see what we can do about that. Hi, and if you can help Sylvia out with that one, that’d be great. Let me know what happens? Yeah, because I just checked this morning and I don’t see it and I’ve asked dr V.
Angelica Soto (09:32) He hasn’t answered me back if he’s gotten anything. So I’m waiting for him to answer him because sometimes they get emails and I’m trying to see, but I don’t feel like I need more work. I need them to do more stuff. I don’t want this to be every two weeks because we’re getting killed in Nevada and dr Chris is a primary provider. I got to get this going. So I need to get that done. Okay? All right. I will get on with it. You have anything for me. Thank you.
Lyndsey Farmer (09:54) I did not have anything today. I think aside from these things, everything seems to be going well.
Angelica Soto (10:02) Yeah, there’s just a lot. And then I was off this week. So I haven’t been, I know it’s a lot. We’ve been on a lot of projects. So, Lydia and I haven’t I think I tackled medallion just a little bit yesterday and she did too. So when we get to tackle these projects, things kind of get set a little while, but I know dr geis is ready to expire in four days. You guys have been killing me in emails which is fine. There’s nothing I can do. He has to finish his part. Okay? It is what it is. So I appreciate you guys kind of letting me know. But other than that, I think I’m good. Thank you so much.
Lyndsey Farmer (10:33) All right. Have a good rest of your day and happy.
Angelica Soto (10:35) Weekend. Yes, you too. Bye bye bye.
