Derek Rowley (00:00) hey, Mira. Hi.
Mira Guha (00:01) Derek. How are you doing?
Derek Rowley (00:03) Well, thanks. I apologize for being a little late here that.
Mira Guha (00:06) Is fine. I’m really hoping this won’t take very long. I just thought it would be, I know you’re super busy. I just thought it would be helpful to do like kind of a quick one to one kind of check in. I know we met a little bit ago, just about the state of the account and I obviously get the sense things are not on track for where we want them to be. So just kind of wanted to do like a candid conversation about where we are especially with the renewal coming up. And just kind of, I have kind of an idea in mind of what we think would be helpful in the next few months, but was just kind of hoping to get a temperature check from you and what you’re looking for and what’s not, you know, meeting your expectations. I.
Derek Rowley (00:42) Definitely appreciate it. And the just keep me honest, the renewal would start in June or July. What was the, when is the term up?
Mira Guha (00:53) July I’m checking the exact date right now. Everything is slow to load today. July thirtieth would be the start of the new agreement if we.
Derek Rowley (01:02) Okay, awesome. And I think we still have like something like 30 to 40 K of like expected contract value unused as of today or something like that, right?
Mira Guha (01:16) That’s right. We’re at about 42 K.
Derek Rowley (01:18) 42 K left. Okay. Super helpful. Transparently, the direction that I have chatted about with the team is, I wouldn’t say it’s like my direction, but like collaboratively the team is focused on is like we want to, we want to give you guys the chance to focus on the stuff you’ve committed to getting done for us rather than continue to feed the hopper. And so like, rather than, you know, try and clean up at the same time as like handle new volume and like have a blurred read on like how are things going gone over this measurement period? We thought it would be better to say like, okay, let’s pause new requests and let’s get as much cleaned up as we possibly can. I hopefully that’s not like… wildly surprising, for, where the account was. And I think we even kind of explicitly talked about just like let’s really focus on getting stuff cleaned up, to even understand, where our challenges exist. Still. So if that’s a surprise apologies, if that was, if, that is news. I think we still have a number of credentialing requests that are still open. And, and in flight, now the licensing side, I’m not as I can’t remember to be honest, but like, I think that there’s a ton of open credentialings, and I don’t think we’ve submitted anything new in three months. What is the, what is the last four months maybe?
Mira Guha (02:51) It’s been a while. I don’t think there’s been anything requested in 20 26? Like the last thing requested for enrollments was like October.
Derek Rowley (02:59) October. Okay. And we still have open enrollments though, right?
Mira Guha (03:02) Yeah. It looks like there’s like 40 total still open that we’re working on. Is.
Derek Rowley (03:09) that surprising to you that we would still have 40 if the last ones went through in October?
Mira Guha (03:15) I kind of understand that there has just been so much, to clean up that has unfortunately, just kind of been kicked down the road. And so we are like really focusing on those. So like, it is kind of surprising that there is some stuff still from then, but I, as we know like, some payers are taking well over the 90 to 100, 20 days after submission.
Mira Guha (03:33) So, I also just know like, we had quite a lot to kind of clean up once we started working with you and then transitioned to Lindsay. So like unfortunately, not as surprised, as we could be here on that.
Derek Rowley (03:45) And then we don’t have, do we have any open licensure requests? I think it was just credentialing at.
Mira Guha (03:50) this point, I think there’s just like two that we’re looking to push through at this point. Like, yeah, only two that are open right now. So, very small number, of requests there.
Derek Rowley (04:02) Okay. Got it. So, I mean, I’m very hesitant for our team to start submitting new requests until like we’ve really gone through, the cleanup process here for what’s outstanding. Candidly, like we’re probably going to evaluate based off of where we clean up where we get to for like what a go forward relationship would look like. So we just ask for like high focus on what’s been already requested. And then obviously, like as we start to, you know, assuming that gets to a place, of catch up or stability. I don’t know what the right term is, like. We’ll start to push through more volume for at least what we’ve contractually committed, to play out. But I even requesting new, I think, is tough for us to justify until we’ve got like the clean up complete. Yeah.
Mira Guha (05:04) I totally understand that’s where our focus is. Obviously, that was like alarm bells for us when we were noticing that things weren’t coming through. And of course, we want to make sure you’re getting your money’s worth. So that’s kind of why I was flagging this in our last call.
Derek Rowley (05:16) Cool. That.
Mira Guha (05:17) Said like obviously understand especially with like the enrollments credentialing piece. We are like really hyper focused on cleaning that up. I know we all are super busy. I don’t want to add a ton more time to your calendars but we think it might be helpful for me to occasionally like maybe once a month even if it’s using part of our standing call. One of our standing calls like do a quick like overview burn down here’s. Where we are here’s. Where we were last time here’s. Where the super hyper focus is here’s. What’s working here’s not, so that’s kind of our recommendation there. If you did want to do some more licensing, that is an entirely different team if that feels a little bit more comfortable and you want to get your money’s worth while our team continues to do kind of that burn down of existing enrollments. Yeah. Happy to do that. And then of course, like want to make sure whatever you were looking for leading up to that renewal day, we were putting our best foot forward, and as much as possible, hopefully you feel comfortable renewing with us and we’re just addressing, those items head on. But other.
Derek Rowley (06:14) Thoughts, well, no, I appreciate the, yeah, no, I appreciate, the directness and the candidness. So, so more than happy. So whatever the form you recommend, whether you want, you know, me and you to do a quick check in 15 minutes versus like the full team meeting. I’ll defer to you when you think it’s going to be most effective. And then good to know on the licensing side, I can kind of remind the team that there’s a little bit of like, a church and state, I guess on your side for credentialing and licensing for those team capabilities and see if that’s something that they could use extra focus on, for the licensing side. But yeah, our intent has been to like really let you guys focus on, the cleanup rather than like muddy, the evaluation with like old and new enrollments.
Mira Guha (07:03) Yeah, totally understand. I know we are super fixated. We do have kind of slas in place where as long as it’s not like 500 requests made at once, like our team should still be able, to get things done in a timely manner. Obviously, we’re in this new direction now with like Lee and now Lindsay taking things on but understand like we are really hyper focused on those. So, I leave it to whatever you feel comfortable with. I just, I’d hate for you to like leave those dollars on the table. Yeah. But understand, we’re kind of working to rebuild your trust, and clean these things up. So, I think as far as next steps, let us know if you have kind of plans on the licensing. Of course, the engagement manager can help oversee stuff like that on your calls. And I’ll kind of start thinking about maybe it is just you and me, if we want to invite Karen or anyone else like just a quick burn down. And then like here’s what we need to be seeing that we’re not here is what’s going well. I think that will be helpful to get us on track.
Mira Guha (07:52) And that also kind of gives us a gauge of like, how are things looking before July? Whatever direction we go, we have plenty of time to evaluate and plan on next steps.
Derek Rowley (08:01) Okay. Yeah, that sounds great and happy to use like whatever the line in the sand is today, March thirtieth is like, you know, number of open enrollments, number of open licenses, and then you can check in towards end of April and see what we’ve been able, to make progress on that.
Mira Guha (08:16) Sounds great. Okay, perfect. I’m just kind of looking at the calendar real quick. I won’t schedule anything right now until we’ve kind of had a chance, to, you know, coordinate offline. But, if we can use some time like maybe it’s like the 15 minutes before or after the scheduled Thursday call on like maybe the sixteenth. And then we can like make that recurring as long as we feel it’s needed. We can always move or cancel. I’m going to be out the very end of April, but I’ll be otherwise around are.
Derek Rowley (08:44) You out the 20 third? I think the medallion call got updated to every other week. Now, it’s every two weeks on Thursday. So, I think it’s the 20 third would be the call. Are you out for that one?
Mira Guha (08:54) Nope, I’m just out the week of the 20 seventh and then into the fourth so I could do the 20 third.
Derek Rowley (09:00) Okay. So maybe, yeah, I’d want to do that. You and me can touch base before that broad meeting.
Mira Guha (09:05) Perfect. That sounds good. I’ll just go ahead and schedule something now and we can go from there. And hopefully I will not be getting too frazzled because I get married the week after that.
Derek Rowley (09:13) Oh, congratulations. That’s very exciting.
Mira Guha (09:16) Thank you. If I do seem on edge. That is why.
Derek Rowley (09:18) Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, that’s super exciting. Congratulations.
Mira Guha (09:21) Thank you. Yeah.
Derek Rowley (09:23) Do you mind if we do right after that meeting? I realize I have a conflict actually right before it. So, right after, so that would be three third of your time.
Mira Guha (09:32) Works for me. That was not a problem. Let me know if that needs to be changed. I’ll just add you, and if you want to add Kara, feel free, and I’ll just like go ahead and put together a couple things. I’ll check in with you a few days before to see if there’s anything I’m missing in my deck that we want to go over.
Derek Rowley (09:48) Fantastic. Awesome. Well, thank you. I appreciate it Mira.
Mira Guha (09:51) Yeah, same to you. Derek. Have a great rest of your week. Have a.
Derek Rowley (09:53) Good one. Thanks you too. Bye bye.
