Collette Waddell (00:00) hi, good morning. Hello?
Abby Gonzalez (00:02) Good morning. How are you, Colette?
Collette Waddell (00:05) How are you doing?
Collette Waddell (00:11) Can you hear me? Yes?
Adriana Hernandez (00:14) Good morning. Sorry, just have a possible sinus pressure headache.
Collette Waddell (00:18) No, you’re fine. I’m so sorry. I know it’s getting everybody pretty bad. I had a sick one home with me yesterday and I could have sworn it was strep, but it wasn’t.
Adriana Hernandez (00:28) so, good thing. It wasn’t oh, my goodness. I.
Collette Waddell (00:31) Know, I know. And our spring break starts. We’re out on Friday and then next week and so I took him to the pediatrician just to rule out strep and the flu and,
Abby Gonzalez (00:41) make sure.
Collette Waddell (00:43) That we.
Adriana Hernandez (00:45) had medicine. We didn’t have to hit all those.
Abby Gonzalez (00:47) Yeah, yeah.
Collette Waddell (00:49) Yeah, it’s awful… the weather. Yeah, my son.
Adriana Hernandez (00:53) For the last couple mornings, he’s woke up with bloody noses, so it’s like blood everywhere. I’m like, my God.
Abby Gonzalez (01:00) Oh, that’s the worst. Yeah, that happens to my daughter too. She gets bloody nose during this season changes. Yeah, I.
Collette Waddell (01:09) am thankful that we don’t it’s not a thing in our household but knock on wood.
Adriana Hernandez (01:15) It’s horrible.
Abby Gonzalez (01:17) Yeah.
Collette Waddell (01:19) Well, Jen messaged just a little bit ago and let me know that she had a last minute conflict and wasn’t able to join our call today, but she did add just a couple of notes for a few of the files that her team is working. So, let me go ahead and just,
Abby Gonzalez (01:37) get.
Collette Waddell (01:39) that shared… let’s see.
Collette Waddell (01:53) All right. Can you see my screen?
Abby Gonzalez (01:55) Yes, yes.
Collette Waddell (01:57) All right. So, she… just noted for dr Mustafa’s file, noting the malpractice gap and that we have one reference back and she’s just asking if you want the team to go ahead and move it forward? I.
Abby Gonzalez (02:16) Know because I need to review it. Same with dr karmani. I don’t see dr karmani noted here, but I do know that she has moved that file to ready, but it looks like there are some hospitals that are missing from her file that were not entered. So I just need to double check to make sure that the facilities that she is at stem are all listed in the profile and that we have all those verifications. So my question for her was going to be if there’s any way that she can put, if she can basically like retract dr karmani’s file. If not, then we can figure out another way. But if there are some verifications, if there are some hospitals that are not in her profile that I will be adding, then of course, we would like those to be on the profile.
Abby Gonzalez (03:21) This one… yes. So we can leave a note.
Collette Waddell (03:27) Okay. So there’s.
Collette Waddell (03:34) wait… these are the ones that you put in hold on. Let me make sure.
Abby Gonzalez (03:47) I think that the biggest issue is that I haven’t had time to review dr karmani’s and when I was reviewing it yesterday, I identified maybe one hospital that might not have been entered and it’s no fault to medallion. It could just be the way that we were instructed to use the platform in the beginning. And then with all the changes that have occurred, there are some facilities that I am finding that are not in all the provider profiles in the appropriate area. So I’m needing to transfer those over and make sure that those are actually in the profile. And dr karmani’s file is actually not due until may. So we still have some time to correct anything that might have been missing and make sure that her file is 100 percent complete for our medical board. Okay? Just some things that I need to double check on my end. Okay? All.
Collette Waddell (04:43) Right. I’m just adding dr karmani’s here… noting that this… to ensure all the affiliations are listed.
Abby Gonzalez (05:03) Okay. And then I would really like to focus on providers in sequence. So we have some physicians, for example, dr karmani has already been moved to committee, but her file is not due until may. So we don’t want to push those files to ready too soon. I would prefer that we focus on them in sequence. And again, you know, this is more for Jen and I can put these notes in what we have here on the agenda. But just looking at some at the timeline and the files are, and when they’re coming to committee for approval, we still have two months before dr karmani’s file is in fact due. But then there are a couple of files that might be in April that are not either finalized or haven’t been a high focus.
Collette Waddell (06:03) Okay. So looking at those… do you date? Okay. Yes, request to focus on providers in sequence?
Collette Waddell (06:24) Sharing that?
Abby Gonzalez (06:30) And then once Jillian… is introduced to the team and she gets acclimated in the system and fully on board with the processes, then she will also assist with the oversight in the appointments.
Collette Waddell (06:45) Okay.
Collette Waddell (06:52) I will take out. And after we meet, I let Jen know that I would just let her know any questions or notes. I would just give her an update later today about, you know, kind of our discussions and, you know, feedback that you had or questions for her. So I’ll relay this back to her when I meet with her later or connect with her later.
Abby Gonzalez (07:19) Okay, perfect. And then,
Collette Waddell (07:23) I know these dr tipu and dr puchalski, are here with the incomplete profiles… and then dr childress.
Abby Gonzalez (07:35) Yes, it has given me access to those mso emails for the ones that might be missing. And so this was one of the things that I wanted to point out for Jen. For dr childress. We supplied medallion with the stem Coi. So I’m not really understanding why they’re requesting malpractice certificates, if she, if they’re in her profile, and they were also in the documents prior to dr childress putting them in her profile. Absolutely. That kind of just caught me off guard. Dr childress has added some of these in there. And if you go to the documents, you can see the dates that were added that the files were added, but they requested a Coi when we provided it to medallion.
Abby Gonzalez (08:36) Gotcha.
Collette Waddell (08:39) Yeah, it looks like this one. Yeah, you were just in there getting that one… and dr childress was in there too, adding it. Okay. I’ll let her know that these… are in there and that also that.
Abby Gonzalez (08:56) And they were also in there before the task was created. So that’s where I’m not understanding why the request for a Coi was submitted when we provided that certificate previously, like last year, we submitted the Coi to the team and medallion did a bulk upload.
Abby Gonzalez (09:20) And the certificate covers June third, 20 25 to June third, 20 26.
Abby Gonzalez (09:42) And for dr childress, can you note that we received an email from her that her peers are unable to open the reference form? So, I’m not sure what might be happening there, but.
Collette Waddell (10:02) Okay. They’re unable to open the reference form?
Abby Gonzalez (10:07) Sent to.
Collette Waddell (10:09) Them. So we need to resend them to review and resend.
Abby Gonzalez (10:25) And then something to note for dr. Tipu. I did notice that there are some of his hospitals that might have been transferred… over from caqh. So I’m performing, now that I have that access, it has given me access to that email. I am making corrections to his profile and putting hospital affiliations where they should be. Okay?
Collette Waddell (11:27) Making sure I’m kind of calling out the things for me to relay back to Jen. I think we’ve got it. Tipu, you’re cleaning up the profile. Childress information was on file for the insurance and then the references, we need to resend them… dr karmani to re, review that again to ensure everything was listed. And then the just general request for the focus of providers in sequence. Does that cover it all? I think so. I.
Abby Gonzalez (12:09) believe so. Yeah.
Collette Waddell (12:11) Okay. All right. Anything else on the appointments piece?
Abby Gonzalez (12:20) I think that is it for the most part. And.
Collette Waddell (12:25) I know you and Adriana met with Nick for a few minutes later last week, he has been out sick or he’s like half in and out because he’s been sick these past two days.
Collette Waddell (12:41) And so I haven’t had a chance to connect with him, but he and I have just a sync a little huddle for us to connect tomorrow morning so that he was just going to let me know that you all connected and that he would just give me an update.
Abby Gonzalez (12:56) Okay.
Collette Waddell (12:58) I don’t have any details of your conversation yet because we were supposed to meet on Monday, but he had to push it.
Abby Gonzalez (13:04) Out.
Collette Waddell (13:04) Because.
Abby Gonzalez (13:05) he couldn’t he was just struggling that’s okay. He did confirm with us that they’re not, they’re basically not going to push us to stop using platform the way we’re using it. But of course, we will need to revisit those conversations at a later time when it comes to renewal. And so our biggest concern was that the changes were going to be immediate and that, you know, that was going to really impact our workflow and our day to day. So we did confirm with Nick that that’s not going to be the case from now until December. I can continue to use the platform as I have been. So, that was a good conversation to have with him just to kind of ease those concerns and make sure that nothing is changing on that part.
Collette Waddell (13:52) Yeah, no, that’s great to hear. I’m glad there’s no immediate shifting… or scrambling if you will. No, that’s good. And yeah, I’m sure he’ll kind of elaborate a bit more on that, but I appreciate you sharing a little bit of an update there too. So thank you. Just jumping forward to the license.
Collette Waddell (14:16) I know last time you had asked about the starting the Dea application when the temporary one is issued, and I put the ask out to the licensing team. And Tristan actually responded and said that the Dea is going… to need the full license information in order to proceed. When I asked about that. So that.
Abby Gonzalez (14:40) was not necessarily always the case, which is why we’re pushing for them to proceed with the Dea. A perfect example for this where I have seen a Dea, the state is able to continue the process with a temporary license. Is Wyoming, a physician can apply for licenses to prescribe pending full licensure. And when they receive that full license, they’re just required to update the office with the full licensure information. So that is my take on that piece, okay? And.
Collette Waddell (15:17) When you say Wyoming,
Abby Gonzalez (15:21) and to add to that, Colette, I think that they should be willing to proceed because as I mentioned, there are states that issue with the temp license and rely on the state to let us know that we must spend a full licensure?
Collette Waddell (15:41) Repeat that last sentence, some.
Abby Gonzalez (15:44) Dea offices will come back and let us know that we will need to wait for that, but I have not seen that occur. So this is why I’m pushing for the team to proceed when those temp licenses come through.
Collette Waddell (15:58) Okay. And just using the example of Wyoming. So you’ve seen that Wyoming is a state where the Dea can be applied for.
Abby Gonzalez (16:06) Yes, pending full licensure pending full state license. Basically the Dea office accepts temporary license.
Collette Waddell (16:19) Okay. Interesting.
Collette Waddell (16:24) Interesting that it’s at the state level… I will share that back.
Abby Gonzalez (16:31) With.
Collette Waddell (16:32) her.
Collette Waddell (16:36) And just sharing that example. Okay? And then I saw the email about just updating Jillian’s user permissionings, when I didn’t clarify in the email and I realized after the fact, but I knew we were connecting this morning. So should her settings mirror yours? Yes. Okay. All right. That’s exactly how I set it up, but I just wanted to make sure. Okay. And then because I had already given her that privileging kind of access, but there’s like an additional permissioning and you actually may not even realize that it’s been enabled, it’s for just being having visibility for PII information in a provider’s profile. So there’s a way to limit somebody from having access to that information. So that was, so I just made sure that her user account mirrored how yours is set.
Abby Gonzalez (17:35) up. Okay? For that additional. Yeah, I haven’t really noticed anything different. Yeah, if there, if the team is able to provide specifics on, you know, what my permissions are compared to, if we changed hers with still giving her the privileging access?
Collette Waddell (18:02) Yeah. Let me see what I can find in terms of, I know that there’s limited like support like documentation. I think… it’s in the support.
Collette Waddell (18:21) So, this is on here… it’s in the support. Under the admin. There’s a little article here just about like kind of these different, what is available, I guess if you will.
Abby Gonzalez (18:40) So, if I’m looking at this?
Abby Gonzalez (18:49) The only thing that would be taken or removed from her would be to add users into the platform.
Collette Waddell (18:57) So, if she is an admin user that… cannot be taken away?
Abby Gonzalez (19:10) Okay. So when you say that she already had access to see. So she was a team manager?
Collette Waddell (19:20) No, I think you, no, I think you added her as an admin. Yeah, this table isn’t as there’s like a little extra something. I mean, I’m going to share some feedback to our marketing team because I like, you can see here this credentialing dashboard, and really, this is… so it says here, it must like in very small font. It must also belong to HR, privileged administrator group to access. This in my opinion, doesn’t really help a customer who doesn’t really see that what that is on, you know, on our end, right?
Abby Gonzalez (19:59) So, right here, on my end, it looks like I typically like basically would only decide, do I want her to be a team manager? Do I want her to be an admin? Right? We want to make sure that she is able to do everything that I am able to?
Collette Waddell (20:19) Yeah. And again, I might share a little internal feedback on that. I think there’s some opportunity for a little clarification on that grid. I mean, it’s helpful, but, I think we could be a little more helpful there. Okay. So I just wanted to make sure that her settings should mirror yours and align yours. And then I did want to just flag, I know you had shared previously one of those, that weekly report URL where you had noticed that provider who had been deactivated, yeah. And was showing in that. I think it was at the bottom of that in that reappointments update section. So I did report that back. You know, I gave them the example, I gave them the like the, I was able to kind of pull up a little snip of that email notice. They did identify that there was like an issue or a bug or something that was like on the backend still almost making it look like there was work happening for that provider. So, they’ve identified it and they’re working on a fix, but they were unable to confirm when we can expect to, for that to be resolved. But they said for the immediate future, if you see that, just disregard it’s, just some coding stuff that they have to do on the backend that they’re trying to work through. Okay? But it was flagged and it’s been submitted as a bug that they’re investigating. Okay? And that was all I had. Was there anything else?
Abby Gonzalez (21:59) I think that is it. For the most part. We’re still pending conversations… and confirmation about North Carolina and, you know, how many physicians we will need to pull through licensing and nurse practitioners, but more to come on that… did I miss anything? Adriana?
Adriana Hernandez (22:22) No, nothing else. And if you want to let Tristan know that it’s going to be nurse practitioners too. That way they can be ready for those as well and have all the requirements if you guys don’t already.
Collette Waddell (22:37) Okay. And so, and we’re volume is what we’re TBD, right? Right on volume, and timeline? Yes. Okay.
Adriana Hernandez (22:51) Timeline. They’re going to want to move on that fairly quick?
Abby Gonzalez (22:54) We just don’t know when. Okay. So, I’m just going to, I’m just going to, but they’re going to want immediate action when we say, okay, we got the contract. This is where you might go stem.
Collette Waddell (23:07) Will be adding North Carolina licenses for nurse practitioners.
Collette Waddell (23:16) Soon… TBD on volume and exact, timeline.
Adriana Hernandez (23:26) And I’m sure we’re looking at a pretty fast turnaround on that because they… mentioned that they’re going to want to start pretty quick. We have some doctors that are already licensed there and they’re going to push for a quick start.
Collette Waddell (23:42) Okay. So, once initiated you’ll want and need a fast turnaround. Yes. Okay. All right.
Collette Waddell (23:58) Okay. All right. Awesome. Thank you. Yeah, I’ll drop this and just give her a heads up and just let her know to expect it and that I’ll update her as soon as we start to have a better sense of when, once we’re going to start kicking those off, so, yeah, all right.
Collette Waddell (24:19) I am out next week on the kids spring break, but I know you all can, you know, tap into support or Nick, if urgently needed. And then we will just,
Abby Gonzalez (24:34) re.
Collette Waddell (24:34) sync the following Tuesday, if that sounds good?
Abby Gonzalez (24:41) Sounds good to me all.
Adriana Hernandez (24:42) Right. Enjoy your time off with the kids. Oh,
Collette Waddell (24:45) thank you so much. I am dreading the drive to Florida, but once we get there, it’ll be lovely.
Collette Waddell (24:54) But thank you. I appreciate it, and I will ask Jen, I’ll give her all of this back and then she can just, I’ll just let her know that she can just send over an email, you know, for any questions or updates, you know, regarding all of these items here. So.
Abby Gonzalez (25:13) Okay, perfect. Awesome. Well.
Collette Waddell (25:17) I hope you have a good week. Adriana, I hope you feel better, thank.
Adriana Hernandez (25:21) You so much.
Abby Gonzalez (25:24) You have a happy Easter? I know that this weekend. So I keep,
Collette Waddell (25:29) forgetting about Easter… we’re.
Adriana Hernandez (25:33) going to be saying that it’s fourth of July here, any moment, right? It’s crazy how this year is just flying by.
Collette Waddell (25:38) Oh, I know. I’m like not ready for school to be over yet for the summer. Not prepared for that. I’m.
Adriana Hernandez (25:47) happy. I’m sad but I’m more sad than anything else because my son’s turning 18 here in a month and then he leaves me in.
Abby Gonzalez (25:55) Vegas.
Collette Waddell (25:57) No, no, yeah, I don’t I’m not, I can’t think about that. I’m sorry for you. So it’s hard.
Adriana Hernandez (26:05) Like, I’m excited, but then it’s so difficult at the same time.
Collette Waddell (26:09) Yeah. Oh, yeah. I know that would be tough, well.
Abby Gonzalez (26:14) I wish.
Collette Waddell (26:15) You well, in those… adjustments, but, all right. Well, I hope you have a good week. Good holiday. Happy Easter and I’ll talk to you a week after next.
Abby Gonzalez (26:28) Thank you so much. Thank you.
Adriana Hernandez (26:30) All right.
Collette Waddell (26:32) Thank you bye.
