Dimi Barot (00:00) good morning. Hey.

Kyle Rice (00:01) Good morning, dr. Bird. How are you doing today? Happy Tuesday.

Dimi Barot (00:03) Happy Tuesday. How are you doing?

Kyle Rice (00:06) Good. We finally got some good spring weather up here in New Jersey. So we are on the up and up for sure.

Dimi Barot (00:11) Good for you?

Kyle Rice (00:13) Any travels this week?

Dimi Barot (00:15) Yes, headed to Dallas tomorrow.

Kyle Rice (00:17) Oh, exciting. That’s my least favorite airport.

Dimi Barot (00:21) Well, we’ll see if anything’s changed.

Kyle Rice (00:25) Awesome. I love it. So, I want to give you a quick update pertaining to Puerto Rico. The application is in flight via usps. I just want to give you a heads up overnight shipping was not an available option for us to ship it to the board and it’s slated for delivery to the Puerto Rico medical board as of tomorrow.

Dimi Barot (00:43) And does it have receipt confirmation or anything like that? So we know that they can’t just sit it and get it.

Kyle Rice (00:49) Yes, I believe it does. Okay. And then I did see your CDS waiver that was submitted to Louisiana board. I am monitoring the receipt for that as well. And then for Louisiana, we’re just pending their board to process that waiver, and then we should be able to get access to the renewal application. And then I believe next up for renewal is Texas coming up on fivethirty as well. And the team is working on getting that in the process now.

Dimi Barot (01:16) Perfect. And then.

Kyle Rice (01:20) I did not see any outstanding renewals for anybody else. I know the team is working. I know Jamie had reached out to dr savani pertaining to his Maryland CDS renewal.

Dimi Barot (01:32) Looks.

Kyle Rice (01:33) like he’s having some issues accessing. We are having some issues as well accessing the renewal application.

Kyle Rice (01:39) So, I know Jamie had reached out to him late yesterday to provide some additional context and insight to help us facilitate that renewal.

Dimi Barot (01:47) Yeah. And she did CC me as well. So I think he has a path forward, but obviously, we’ll know if anything else needs to be done.

Kyle Rice (01:55) Perfect. That sounds great. I will continue to monitor that as well. And then it does not look like we had any additional renewals in process at this time outside of Louisiana and Texas coming up for expiration here.

Dimi Barot (02:08) Okay. Sounds great.

Kyle Rice (02:11) Cool. Anything else I can help with this morning? Dr Baruch?

Dimi Barot (02:13) No, if you don’t mind, just, I’m sure everybody on the team is now full hands on deck so to speak, but all hands on deck. But if you wouldn’t mind just making sure that we follow through with what happens in Puerto Rico and then whatever resources medallion has to call them. And I wouldn’t say harass, but just stay on top of them because I believe now this is the fourth try at trying to get this successfully completed application process through their medical board. So whatever pressure or kind of follow through, we can put on the medical board there especially with whatever resources and tentacle medallion has. I would be grateful.

Kyle Rice (02:57) Perfect. Yeah. Sounds good. We will definitely get that out. And then we’ll definitely continue to put some pressure on Puerto Rico. And then I’ll send you any confirmations as they kind of come through. I’m monitoring this top of my list here for you.

Dimi Barot (03:10) Yeah, I appreciate that. I think the main thing is to have either a designated person from the medallion team or maybe if we still have that, I know that you would you all have referenced that there used to be someone who in person went to the medical board’s office, but apparently is either no longer with medallion or that for whatever reason that changed. But in the event that there is a way to be able to let the folks at the board know so that it doesn’t come across as being a new application out of the blue, maybe we can let them know, hey, this application has now been submitted on multiple occasions, it was completed. And for reasons that don’t make a whole lot of sense. It was kicked back and has not been processed. So we would really appreciate it if this can be done as expeditiously as possible because the provider has been waiting now for essentially one year to get a license application processed. Yeah.

Kyle Rice (04:09) Absolutely. I know that previous specialist is no longer with medallion. So I believe for continuity, dr Brooke Cassidy is since she is, you know, intimately familiar with the application, your application, this new application that went out, I believe she’s going to be processing the follow up with the board as well. And I’ll definitely ask the team to highlight that we’ve resubmitted this multiple times and see what we can do to get them to help kind of expedite this and then hopefully use the verifications that were previously sent to kind of help complete the application and then move forward to licensure?

Dimi Barot (04:39) Okay. Thank you, Kyle. Yeah.

Kyle Rice (04:41) No problem. I hope you have some safe travels out to Dallas this week and hopefully some good weather out there. I know it’s rather stormy and, lovely airport like I said.

Dimi Barot (04:52) All right. I’ll keep my fingers crossed, but thank you. Yeah.

Kyle Rice (04:55) No problem. And I’ll continue, I’m just going to be out of office tomorrow. I’m taking my kids to their first baseball game at the phillies. Awesome. So, yeah, really excited to do that. And then I will keep you in the loop as soon as I get back into office pertaining to delivery updates and next steps, and just keep you well prized of the application process.

Dimi Barot (05:13) Thank you Kyle.

Kyle Rice (05:14) No problem. I hope you have some safe travels. Dr. Burrow, let me know if there’s anything else in the meantime and I will get you taken care of here.

Dimi Barot (05:20) Thanks. Enjoy the game.

Kyle Rice (05:22) Thanks, dr. Burrow. Have a great day.

Dimi Barot (05:23) You too bye.
