Grace Blue (00:00) hey, Kyle. How are you?
Kyle Rice (00:01) Grace, happy Monday. How are you doing?
Grace Blue (00:04) I’m doing pretty good, you know, it’s Monday. So I’m trying to adjust.
Kyle Rice (00:11) Yeah, Monday, post holiday weekend for sure has got you probably feeling it a little bit today.
Grace Blue (00:16) I feel like we should all be off the day after Easter Sunday. I just feel like it’s like a family holiday, so.
Kyle Rice (00:23) I know I hear you on that. I’ve apparently found a couple eggs that my kids did not find yesterday. So small little win for me.
Grace Blue (00:31) Oh, that’s fun. Yeah, I’m like, I don’t know, I’m just not here today, like I’m here physically, but mentally, I’m like what am I doing? What do I do it?
Kyle Rice (00:43) Was a long, it was a long, it was a short weekend but it felt like a long weekend for sure. So hopefully you get some time today to recover and get back into the spring of things.
Grace Blue (00:51) Yes, for sure.
Kyle Rice (00:53) Hey, Catherine. How are you doing today? Happy Monday?
Catherine (00:56) Hi, everyone. Good. Glad.
Kyle Rice (00:59) To hear it. Glad to hear it. I got a little bit of an agenda for us this afternoon. I just wanted to review April renewals. It looks like we’re in a pretty good spot. We just have one currently outstanding. I wanted to review the physician renewals for getting those in the process.
Kyle Rice (01:14) I have a priority providers update for you guys and then some Hawaii updates as well. And I don’t believe we have anybody currently in credentialing at this time, but would love to get into any items that you guys might have for me before we dive into the agenda?
Catherine (01:30) I guess just one quick question. I know we paused Louisiana prescriptive authority, but we’re still having the task listed on the admin tasks. Is it the, I guess, is it the case that we should just keep it there? Or what do you all usually do?
Kyle Rice (01:45) Usually, if we hold them, I believe the tasks will remain, but I can ask the team if we can close them out just so you guys task this a little bit cleaner just depending on what you guys want to do there. We can kind of go either way with that.
Catherine (01:58) Yeah, yeah. I think it would be better for us to just close it so that we don’t see it as an item, but hopefully we’ll be able to get those started soon.
Kyle Rice (02:07) Okay. No problem. I will have the team go through and close those out… la RX authority and process. Yeah, no problem. Kath, I’m happy to close those out for you. Awesome just wanted to jump into renewal updates real quick for April. We currently just have one renewal outstanding for Abby arangarian for her Florida multi state license. Florida is requiring a background check which we have submitted on three three. We just have her an external block pending the release of the application. So that should be opening up in the next week or so. And then for physician license renewals, we have in process, I just wanted to let you guys know for dr kernow, we have his Oklahoma application in queue for submission. His Tennessee license was renewed through may 20 28. His Georgia license is in process with the board for renewal as well as the Washington license as well with both of those expiring in may. And then dr Feldman, his New York application was just assigned to the licensing team for population and that has an expiration date of June thirtieth 20 26. Then. Did you guys want me to jump into any priority providers updates or do you just want me to run down the list or what works best for you all this afternoon?
Catherine (03:28) No, I mean, I don’t think we need to run through it. Grace. What do you think?
Grace Blue (03:33) No, no. I’m looking at the notes here. So I’m like I’m good. You don’t need to go through those.
Kyle Rice (03:40) Yeah, and I will email you guys a copy of this after our call as well. Just so we’re tracking any pertinent updates. I did see a couple licenses come through for Kelly Shea, Monique stage for her RX authority in Kentucky and Michigan, RN, Kelly Shea’s, Montana and Oregon NP were issued. And then Rustin baker’s Arkansas nurse practitioner was issued. And then it looks like we had a couple of licenses for dr Feldman issued as well for Ohio and Virginia. And then do you guys want to run through Hawaii updates at all or what works best?
Grace Blue (04:17) Hawaii is probably helpful if there’s anything to call out specifically that we need to like ping the providers on something. They’re not doing that we can circle back on sure we.
Kyle Rice (04:31) Have a couple of providers currently in intake that I would love to highlight for you guys. For Brittany Benton, we have her an intake pending provider for a few items to report any licenses in process, verify her existing licenses in medallion, update her mailing address, order an npdb self query with all licenses issued. And then we also need a copy of her RN transcript from unc wilmington and her demographic information for fingerprinting. And then for Jessie noble for her LPN, we have her pending an intake for an npdb self query with all licenses added, update her demographic information, add a two by two passport style photo, and then provide a professional diploma or copy for transcript from north central Texas college. And I’ll just run through the providers that are pending an intake because I know Hawaii is a big priority for you guys here. And then Joshua vest, we have pending an intake as well to add his demographic information, review and verify his work history. Provide a two by two passport photo update mailing address, provide an npdb self query, existing licenses, verified, report any licenses in process, and then completion of the attestation to application in the agreements section. And then there’s just, I think one or two more. I wanted to touch on here, Meredith Ellis for her RN and NP, we’re just pending an npdb self query from her with all licenses added. And then for Tanya Ardy, we just needed her for her LPN. We have her pending an intake to add some additional names to her profile for Tanya Michelle brown, and then upload her a copy of her CV in month and year format, by her different activities. Okay. And then Catherine, I will get the prescriptive for a task closed out for Louisiana. Was there any updates or anything you guys wanted to talk through for this afternoon?
Grace Blue (06:33) The only other thing that I wanted to bring up. So I’ve noticed like there’s tasks that get assigned to the admin, like if something’s on hold or somebody didn’t respond, but for a perfect example, Brittany hunt, she needed to enroll in Massachusetts health before they can finish her Massachusetts license. So they sent me a, they put it on hold which was completely fine. But then when I followed up, you know, we got the app done and everything. And so I’m like, well, what are the next steps? Blah blah blah. So basically to say like you can take it off a hold or like what is the next, you know, step? Because they didn’t say anything after I said here’s, the app, it’s completed. You know, what do we do? Do we submit it? Do you submit it? So they responded and said they can give us a prepaid label to do it, which is fine. But then they never circled back with Brittany. Like, so I was like, well, did you send it? They told me they were going to send it to her but they didn’t they sent it to me even though they said they were, but they only sent it to me because I followed up and said, well, where is this? Did you give it to her? So I just want to make sure the loop is being closed like even though it’s getting assigned to us, which is fine. Like, you know, we’re putting it on hold because you’re waiting on blah blah blah. Perfect. But then when I asked, well, what is the next steps? Like are we supposed to be responsible for giving them the next step when it goes on hold? Or is medallion supposed to be updating them? When like if I communicate with the, they communicate with me and I’m saying this is what, blah blah blah, are they going to do it or is it something that we’re responsible for circling back? I.
Kyle Rice (08:17) Guess, no, if there’s something on hold, we just kind of you typically would await your guidance, just like for example, like the Louisiana prescriptive authority licenses to move back into process. I want to take a look at Brittany hunt’s Massachusetts health just so I can get a closer look into the situation in entirety and see what the issue was there. And then I can definitely provide some feedback on the HM process for you. Grace.
Grace Blue (08:39) Yeah, that just would be helpful because I’ll respond and I’ll say, you know, whatever, but then I don’t feel like there’s a circle back with the provider. I have to do it and if I do that’s fine. But I just want to make sure that I don’t drop anything, there’s no gaps in getting this rolling so that she can get it rolled. So that was all.
Kyle Rice (08:56) For sure. Yeah. Let me take a look in that and I will close the gap with you guys. Just want to look into just the timeline with her application and just some of the communications back from the team and I can help close the gap there, grace.
Grace Blue (09:09) Perfect. Okay. That’s perfect.
Kyle Rice (09:12) Thank you. Yeah, no problem. Anything else? Top of mind for you guys this afternoon?
Grace Blue (09:16) No, we are good. Thank you.
Kyle Rice (09:18) Awesome. Well, glad to hear it. We can keep it a little speedy, a little speed round for this afternoon?
Grace Blue (09:24) I.
Catherine (09:25) guess Kyle, I do have a quick question before we close. Sure. So the way when you guys process new or when we go through consumption for one new request, is the new request the same for, in terms of the fee for an MD license for an RN license and for an NP license?
Kyle Rice (09:48) I believe so. Yes.
Catherine (09:50) Okay. So if we have an NP license that requires an RN on top of it, is that too?
Kyle Rice (09:58) Two? Yeah. Unless they hold like a, unless it’s a, unless they hold like either like a multi state or.
Catherine (10:03) Right? If it’s a compact, it wouldn’t count. But if it’s a non compact, then it’ll charge you twice for that, and that’s like a two, a use of a two.
Grace Blue (10:09) Okay. Yes.
Kyle Rice (10:10) That’s correct. And then Catherine, usually those consumption charges will hit as soon as those cleared intake and the status intake completed that’s typically, when you guys will start to see the consumption come down the line. And if you guys want to view any upcoming consumption, I believe you can view under the account and usage tab and it will flag any upcoming consumption by renewal or anything that’s approaching or clearing intake. So just give you guys a little bit additional visibility there?
Grace Blue (10:40) So question for you now that she brought that up, how long from the time that we put a request in, do we have to cancel it? Like, is there a turn? Do we have like a turnaround time for our group? Like what is the timeline?
Kyle Rice (10:56) So, up to, so if there’s anything pending in intake like such as intake pending provider tasks, we can always cancel those. No charge if it clears intake. I do believe there would be a consumption charge. And then I do believe the SLA for that is 10 business days from requested to intake. And then that timer will get paused if there’s any like pending provider tasks out such as to provide like new fingerprinting or like a copy of like the npdb or just any additional requirements that we have to task out for.
Grace Blue (11:24) That’s helpful. Okay, perfect. Thank you.
Kyle Rice (11:27) Yeah, no problem. Cool. Anything else? I?
Grace Blue (11:29) Think, I’m good, cool.
Kyle Rice (11:32) Awesome. Let me take a look at Brittany hunt, grace. I’ll give you a little bit of information there. And then Catherine, I’ll close the loop on those Louisiana licenses we have on hold for tasking and then I’ll send you guys a quick summary of everything from our agenda today.
Kyle Rice (11:44) And if there’s anything else, just let me know in the meantime and I’ll get you guys taken care of I,
Catherine (11:48) guess, Kyle, I do have one last question in terms of the usage, I know that you guys keep like a running tab of the consumption and how much we have left on the, I guess like on the account.
Catherine (11:59) Is that based on the consumption for intake? Like how often do you guys run that? Is that like a weekly thing? How accurate would the, I believe?
Kyle Rice (12:11) It’s daily? So it should be relatively up to date for the most part.
Catherine (12:17) Okay. Yeah, because right now, it says we have 62,000 remaining in term, which I don’t think will get us through the end of the year. So that’s why I was asking like you think that it’s like really up to date like pretty close to what we?
Kyle Rice (12:30) I do. Yeah. Okay.
Catherine (12:32) And then that would only like if we wanted to calculate what it looked like for the next month, then we would just look at renewals and any new license requests and that should remove it. It wouldn’t include like, I guess that never includes the additional fees that we.
Kyle Rice (12:49) Right. Yeah. That’s a.
Catherine (12:50) separate.
Kyle Rice (12:50) billing, yeah, the pass through fees, I believe they keep separate out of the billing cycle. And then I believe those are invoiced to you. I think at the end of month, so it wouldn’t account for any of those. But for the most part, the usage tab should be up to date.
Kyle Rice (13:03) I believe that’s updated on a daily basis essentially when lines are moved to the intake, complete status. You should start to see some consumption changes there as these files kind of progress through to intake.
Catherine (13:14) So like the intake… like… for us to see how many we have in intake, we would just go to licenses and filter for that.
Kyle Rice (13:25) Okay. Yeah. And if it’s helpful, I can provide like a report with everything in intake currently for you guys that has not yet been consumed. If you guys are looking for some additional visibility there?
Catherine (13:34) Yeah, that would be great. Thanks Kyle.
Kyle Rice (13:36) Yeah, no problem. I’ll send that forward for you as well.
Catherine (13:39) Okay, thanks.
Kyle Rice (13:40) No worries. Thank you.
Grace Blue (13:42) Bye bye.
Kyle Rice (13:43) Awesome. Have a great day guys.
Catherine (13:44) Thanks you too. Bye.
