Rahul Gupta (00:00) James?

James Donachie (00:01) Hey, what’s going on? What’s.

Rahul Gupta (00:03) up, man?

Katie Downer (00:04) Hey, James not.

James Donachie (00:06) Too much because I’ve had a very Colorado past couple days. I went to the avalanche game for Easter, and then yesterday, I went to the rockies game and they won.

Katie Downer (00:17) Dang.

Rahul Gupta (00:19) Sounds fun.

Katie Downer (00:20) Them, winning is a surprise.

James Donachie (00:24) Yeah, they’re all like 8,000 people that were there. We got to watch a five to one victory for, the rockies.

Rahul Gupta (00:31) Nice. We’re going to the avs game tomorrow for some Verdon folks playing Calgary flames, nice.

James Donachie (00:42) That’ll be a good game.

Rahul Gupta (00:44) Yeah, it should be fun.

James Donachie (00:48) That’s a way better time. Easter was a funny time to go. It was packed though. It’s quite the Easter event to go to.

Rahul Gupta (00:55) Yeah, it’s a good way to good way to celebrate the holiday.

James Donachie (00:59) Yeah, Jesus.

Katie Downer (01:01) Really loved baseball, I bet.

James Donachie (01:02) Yeah, he loved Colorado sports. Yeah.

Rahul Gupta (01:06) He was, yeah, he had Colorado tattooed on him.

James Donachie (01:13) But I haven’t I gotta get to a, I haven’t gotten to a nuggets game this year, but that’s like, the one I haven’t gone to and those games are fun too. Like being from like the New York metro. Like, I grew up like all like New York fans and like, yeah, it’s kind of like, but like Colorado like is pretty like their sports are, it gets pretty crazy like, yeah.

Rahul Gupta (01:42) Yeah, surprisingly, yeah, I’ve been only one nuggets game. I’ve I mean, I’ve been to avs games, been to rockies games. I’ve not been to broncos games yet. So, James are waiting for again the medallion outing.

James Donachie (01:55) Well, I could circle.

Rahul Gupta (01:57) That slot that in, for next fall.

James Donachie (01:59) Yeah, we should look at the schedule now and then, yeah, because.

Rahul Gupta (02:02) We have to decide if we want to keep using you guys, right? Yeah, this is gonna help with that decision. Yeah, I, the.

James Donachie (02:10) broncos games are a ton of fun. The, and… the two o’clock start time is great too. The tailgate scene is, yeah, I’m.

Katie Downer (02:22) a Boston fan. So, Boston people are different. We are built different. We’re not Philly fans, but we are a different brand, so… a,

James Donachie (02:32) lot of championships over there a lot. Hey.

Katie Downer (02:36) You said it, not me?

James Donachie (02:37) Totally.

Rahul Gupta (02:40) Well,

Katie Downer (02:42) cool. Well, I’ve got a few things for you James. I guess I first want to start off with the medicare thing.

Katie Downer (02:48) So like I just want to make sure that when we submit the new medicare like up to demographic updates to have everything be aligned that like all the old ones will be gone.

James Donachie (03:02) Yes. So I am working with Amy right now on making sure that that’s cleared out, from the medallion team. So I should have an update on that shortly like within the next that’s.

Katie Downer (03:18) fine. I just like I get worried for my own sanity of being like I’m submitting all of these. And then it’s like which ones are we actually doing? Which one’s medallion working on are like, I just like don’t want too many like things floating that I want to wait until like it’s clear and then we can submit. But with that, we had submitted for providers individually to be linked to these. Will those also be cancelled? Because I did see that like on some of our medallion like payers, like we’re some of them are still listed as like payer and processing and I can share my screen on that. So I’m just like I want to make sure… that like seeing here that it’s like medicare Illinois with Cara fine like payers processing. So like I’m gonna go in and redo, the initial one, right? Like I’m gonna go in and do, the medicare group. And then like will I have to submit another provider demographic for Cara or is that just gonna be linked? Like I want to make sure I’m clear on this, okay?

James Donachie (04:28) Let me, let me get definitive on when I meet, I have something scheduled this afternoon with that person to chat through and Cara, that’s an easy one. I’m just writing this name down. Cara. Yeah, there’s.

Katie Downer (04:45) quite a few in here, just like some are provider revalidations, but there’s like the provider demographic update, I think it’s linked to the group. I’m assuming, yeah, make sure that like I don’t know, I just don’t want to have any question marks when we do this. I want this to be like the last time that I have to apply for medicare in all 50 states. So like, yeah, yes. Yeah. Does that make sense? What?

James Donachie (05:11) I’m asking, no, it does. Yeah. No, I think that is a really good. Let me, let me just like double check with them because… I know whatever’s going to happen is going to be right? Because I got we.

Katie Downer (05:26) Got Amy. Yeah.

James Donachie (05:27) We got Amy.

Katie Downer (05:28) No, and she gave us the okay in the email, but like I still, for my gut check, sanity, I’m going to wait until you give me the okay, if that’s all right with you?

James Donachie (05:40) Yeah. Let me, I just want to, I’m just going to pull up. I’m just going to send her like the car, fine like example and just be like, how does like for these? How does it work? Yeah, like because like I’m like there’s like a three percent chance she like didn’t go to like look on that page, you know, of the, yeah of your guys’ account. And so I just want to make sure like, hey, we double checked this, right? Like.

Katie Downer (06:03) Okay. So you’re going to, yeah, you’re going to follow up when it all are cleared out. And with the providers in progress? Okay? Kara, cool. Cool. I will just mark this blue. I’m just assuming this one. Okay, I don’t know. And maybe I just like misread your email or didn’t I don’t know, just forgot.

Katie Downer (06:33) But like, does requested mean that we have not consumed? Like we’re sure that is something that we have not consumed yet?

James Donachie (06:41) Yes. Okay. Cool.

Katie Downer (06:44) Cool. Because I have a list. So, right here, I know I’m jumping through screens, yay list and these people… I’m not saying that we’re not going to go through with them, but they’re requested quote unquote requested right now. They haven’t been consumed and I’m not sure we’re going to move forward with their licensing as renewals. So if that’s the case, I will know by end of week if that is the case. But could I send like, I know I’m going to have to send in a support ticket or like the new help desk ticket or whatever it is, but like, could I send this over and just say?

James Donachie (07:24) Please like.

Katie Downer (07:26) Turn.

James Donachie (07:27) off the room. Let me see if you go to, can we look up one of these guys in medallion? Let’s, I want to see what your guys’ is.

Katie Downer (07:35) Let’s do, Brittany, jalipsy?

James Donachie (07:39) Great. Name. It’s a 10 out of 10 name. Okay. And then we’re going to licenses… and they have, is it the one that is requested right now?

Katie Downer (07:56) Whenever this? Yeah. So I have the Illinois, it’s the renewal for Illinois. It was requested on 220 26, but it hasn’t been like consumed yet.

James Donachie (08:08) And it will, if you hit the three dots. Okay? I was just wondering if we can.

Katie Downer (08:15) It just says, yeah.

James Donachie (08:17) Okay. I was wondering if there was, and that might be what the agents are able to see…

Katie Downer (08:26) Can you get this and then add a note?

James Donachie (08:28) Yeah, we can… just want to, I… thought there was a way for… basically you could say like TBD on it like, you know, like hold.

Katie Downer (08:44) Yeah, I don’t know if I have that ability… get support. I mean, I could do the get support thing that we’ve talked about, but.

James Donachie (08:54) Yeah, I know that this is like a lot of them. I feel like the get support like, yeah, for like for one that like comes up, let me see if there is a way for you to that. I’m not… because.

Katie Downer (09:09) I mean, technically, I think that I could go into licenses existing licenses and that or requests maybe.

James Donachie (09:16) Yeah.

Katie Downer (09:18) Would it be requests for? Because?

James Donachie (09:21) You have 39 that are on hold. So, how did they get there? Did you, did medallion help you out with that?

Katie Downer (09:30) You would think that I would know?

James Donachie (09:35) Well, that’s I’m thinking because I feel like that’s where we would probably want to put these.

Katie Downer (09:41) So, these look like renewal… window pending renewal, window, external blocks. So medallion definitely did these. I did not put these on hold but it looks like it’s just discrepancies that we’re waiting on.

James Donachie (09:58) Okay. Because so… maybe I’m using that on hold. Okay? Look, I mean, yeah, if you want to send me the list, and then we, okay.

Katie Downer (10:12) Because I don’t know if we’re going to turn them all off. But like if we’re not going to, I don’t want to move forward with them if we’re going to turn them like I don’t want to consume them. Yeah, if we’re not going to.

James Donachie (10:23) I mean, that makes sense.

Katie Downer (10:24) Right. So like just money cost savings in that sense, I’m having a conversation tomorrow. So this is just more of like a good to know. I’ll just, I could just send you this list… because I can go in and just write in every single one of these just being like don’t do it. Yeah, but I just didn’t know if there was an easier way for us to like be like stop.

James Donachie (10:48) Yeah. Let me, I mean, if you send me, I could probably see if we can get it bulk actioned, okay… on it. And then I think for like one offs probably just like that, get support. Yeah, I’m going to see if, and then if that’s wrong, I’m going to find out if there’s a right way, but that feels like the right way to me.

Katie Downer (11:11) Okay. Cool. The next thing that I wanted to go, oh, did you hear anything about Polly’s Georgia application? I like, I don’t want to lose pulse on that. I.

James Donachie (11:24) Haven’t it’s on my list of things. I can just like poke the team again.

Katie Downer (11:32) Cause I think that the last time I checked it was like it was just not there. Like we’re just, it’s not going through. There was no tasks associated with it. So, in that case, would we have to reapply for her Georgia license? I don’t know.

James Donachie (11:50) I don’t think like, it should be under requested, right? Like.

Katie Downer (11:57) So, it’s inactive now and that’s what I think I sent that letter to them. And I think your team reached out to them being like we tried to.

James Donachie (12:06) Applicant moved to inactive new request required. Why did they? Okay? Let me just that’s a new when I look at it.

Katie Downer (12:18) Last. Yeah. So I was just curious about that because if we have to reapply like… that would kind of like that’s just more cost of like us doing this whole thing.

James Donachie (12:31) And so they gave you the application number, and.

Katie Downer (12:37) Then I sent like the, I sent the Georgia board that like when I sent the letter, they all they responded and said what’s the application number for this? And so I got that number and I sent it back to Georgia.

James Donachie (12:51) I wonder if.

James Donachie (12:58) so that contact you have at Georgia is… do we have? I wonder if we just follow up with them?

Katie Downer (13:12) This is with you?

Katie Downer (13:18) This is, this is what I got, which was, hello?

James Donachie (13:21) Please provide me, okay? And then you provided, oh.

Katie Downer (13:25) This was, and then I said the application number. Is this, please let me know if you need anything else and I never got anything back. I could respond to them. Yeah.

James Donachie (13:33) Let’s respond to them. And then I’ll also try to find like clarity. I feel like you gave them just, yeah, you gave them what they needed with that application. So we should push on the board to, okay?

Katie Downer (13:48) Let me respond to them again. Then, and then if you want to poke too.

James Donachie (13:53) Yeah. So I’m sure they’re just gonna like because the one thing I don’t like, I don’t want them to do is like or like the medallion team to be like, hey, what happened? And then like them just get like the generic looks like it’s expired and it’s like you expired it, but you had the information to do this and you did it in that time like, you know, Georgia board like that’s like, you know, I want to make sure.

Katie Downer (14:20) Totally.

James Donachie (14:21) Because then like the medallion person will be like, okay, well, we just got to like, they’re like not my money, you know, like and it’s like no let’s and I… wonder if there’s like, I mean… my experience with these, the state boards, are they’re very hard to talk to, but it’s like… hopefully, we get like a real agent. I’m not sure if that was like a real or like an automated response that you got from that first email?

Katie Downer (14:53) Yeah. I, who knows, I don’t these boards kind of stink sometimes, so.

James Donachie (15:01) Oh, my gosh. Yeah, them and payers.

Katie Downer (15:04) Yeah. Cool. All right. Next one that I actually James just for your fyi, I just learned this by trial and error.

James Donachie (15:15) Okay.

Katie Downer (15:16) And maybe you do know this and I’m like, I just had no idea but we had applied for prescriptive authority for Lacey under one MD and it just like didn’t work. And so I applied again just through a different MD and it went through. So if that ever happens to anybody else like you can just tell them do a second MD and it worked and everything was completely fine. So… that’s why.

James Donachie (15:49) How.

Katie Downer (15:49) I have no idea what happened. Honestly. I, there could have been quite a few different things that happened internally that we just are, we have to figure out however I applied the same way for both of them and, it worked. So, so I did do it twice and it was fine. Okay. So no, there’s nothing, no action. I just wanted to let, you know, yeah.

James Donachie (16:13) No, that, I mean, that I’m also just curious as to like, which, I mean, this is also like some of my experience, this is my experience with medicaid too. Yeah. Like let’s say like you do something and I do something and I get a response in two weeks and you wait a decade? Like I don’t understand why. Yeah, some of the medicaid sites are like that.

Katie Downer (16:37) Totally, totally. Okay. My last one is Melissa peach. And then I think Rahul, you had this last one, but what was Melissa peach?

Katie Downer (16:52) It was about medicare. Maybe… what medicare are we getting her? Massachusetts? Okay. It’s on hold.

Katie Downer (17:08) Okay. I think this is going to be answered with when we redo, right?

James Donachie (17:13) Yes, I, yeah, exactly. So the group like the location is just not part of the group, which is what we’re addressing with the demo updates.

Katie Downer (17:21) Okay, perfect. So, I’m just going to hang tight on that and then that’ll be fine. Okay, cool. Just wanted to make sure I was clear on, I don’t have to take action on that for now.

James Donachie (17:33) And then the last one, was.

Katie Downer (17:36) It Alaska, yeah, Rahul, that was yours. I don’t know if you’ve figured.

Rahul Gupta (17:40) that out. Yeah, we can ignore that. I handle that separately. That’s not something that, yeah, you guys would do.

James Donachie (17:45) Okay.

Rahul Gupta (17:47) Yeah, yeah, because you don’t apply for business in states like if we’re doing business in Alaska, you wouldn’t do that for us. And like you have to check off that you’re telehealth when you do that, and we didn’t do that.

James Donachie (17:59) Okay.

Rahul Gupta (18:01) Not me, not me, our legal team, which if that makes you feel better.

James Donachie (18:06) I mean… the forms are crazy. I don’t know like the big buzz at medallion, right? And like the tech space is like, how do we get AI to be like better at these? And it’s like there’s all these different forms they have like one is like a radio button and another one’s like a dropdown you’re like I’m like someone smarter than me is going to have to figure out like if you ever want to get AI, like to fully do some of this stuff.

Rahul Gupta (18:32) Yeah, that’s, I think AI is a little bit behind with solving those more nuanced, like healthcare operational pieces like that’s because you can’t mess that up there’s. No room for error. Otherwise you’re getting a rejection. Yeah.

James Donachie (18:51) And like, especially what like and like the cycle of which it takes to like find out that you got like an error. Yeah. So it’s like, yeah, I mean, I don’t know like everyone like talks like that’s a big thing in all of healthcare tech, right? It’s like AI AI, but it’s, like for the, like this stuff, it’s like you’re like very nuanced, like, yeah.

Rahul Gupta (19:18) Is your guys’ leadership pushing AI pretty hard in like what you guys are doing? I’m just wondering like how you guys are using like been using?

James Donachie (19:26) So it’s like they’ve been trying to like AI for like follow up tasks, being able to follow up with even like some of the payers right now, but like that, it’s like different payers have different ways of like communicating. So like.

Rahul Gupta (19:47) Yeah, there’s.

James Donachie (19:48) like all these like, so they’re very much like on the exploratory phases of like how can we like build like an agent to do it? But like, you know, there are like it’s a lot of that. So I think over the coming years, I think we’ll see like more and more but like the form one is like one I’m like, you know, it’s like, I don’t know. I’m sure. There’s smart engineers that they’re like testing forms to like figure stuff out. The other thing that like I’m just like curious about and it’s like, I don’t know, but like if you have to log into a portal, like an AI agent isn’t going to have like a username and password and like be able to like log into avility to then like submit something. So it’s like, do you have to have like a connection? Like then it’s like, are you dependent on avility to like open up? Like I’m like I’m really curious to kind of see where it is. Yeah.

Rahul Gupta (20:42) The AI agent stuff at least from chatgpt, like I’m not sure how good Claude’s AI agents are. I haven’t used them yet, but like it just can’t jump from platform to platform seamlessly.

James Donachie (20:54) Yeah, like.

Rahul Gupta (20:56) And it can’t do like a long string of complicated tasks that like it’s like seeing information from three different sources and to execute on a task, it won’t be able to do that.

James Donachie (21:08) Yeah. I even see like the limitation where like if I had like if I wanted to download your guys’ like admin tasks, and then I download like the status of like all your provider lines. And then like you ask like Claude to be like, or like copilot, like what tasks are directly affecting like each one of these like lines and like, you know, like what’s the quickest way to like clear path here, like it doesn’t do a great job of being able to even jump in between like different like excel docs, yeah.

Rahul Gupta (21:44) Yeah, which is like, I don’t know what’s actually being developed versus what’s I mean, what’s being developed in excel that’s not live? I’m sure is like a lot better, but still, I don’t know. I find it hard to believe that eight Instagram take over all these manual process execution tasks, maybe in five years, but I.

James Donachie (22:10) think that’s more. I think that’s a more realistic like timeline. Yeah. And then like I… just had, what was, it was for someone in Michigan who like a umpc, or something like that? They’re still using a like blank form that like you go into Adobe to like that’s where like we like fill out for like an enrollment and it’s like the new 20 26 form. And so it’s like the agent would have to like relearn and like basically the new like, you know, and you’re like it didn’t even look like, they added like a couple more like minor fields but like more data they want to collect, but it’s like you would then have to like completely like retrain like that. And then you’re like you multiply that by like hundreds of forms. You’re like, OK, like just maintaining, it might be more complicated than someone just filling out the form, right?

Rahul Gupta (23:07) Right. Having like one one fte, one person just doing it. Yeah. No, you know what you’re going to get versus like, a robot computer. I.

Katie Downer (23:18) Tried for so long to get AI to like take the information and fill out forms for me and it was just such a waste of time in the end because I like sat there for so long being like take this, put it here. Take the, and it just didn’t work. Yeah. I mean.

James Donachie (23:36) If you could get a roster like the CSV like I feel like then like where it gives you and then you can actually do like the line, you might like it might be more conducive to that, but like the PDF forms there’s like, I mean, I’m also not an engineer but like I’m like that like, and then you’re like just like the QA of it all cause you’re like the last thing you want is like imagine like someone who’s doing like 5,000 enrollments a year or like, you know, whatever, they, we just, you’ve like they build an agent and then they like unleash it and it does like 700 wrong forms like, you know, like cause you’re like it’ll do it like it’ll do it in like an hour and a half or whatever. But then you’re like, yeah, that’s great. But it didn’t check the telehealth button for 700 forms. And now we got 700 emails to go back through like.

Rahul Gupta (24:31) Right, right. And you have to hire someone for quality assurance. And at what point, like you can’t have a robot checking the robot?

James Donachie (24:38) Yeah.

Rahul Gupta (24:40) One of them is gonna fuck off.

James Donachie (24:42) Yeah, that’s exactly it.

Katie Downer (24:45) Well, I’ll.

James Donachie (24:48) get these updates over to you guys. I’ll I’m gonna connect with the team. I’ll just like make sure we’re like crystal clear. So nothing gets confused there. I know Amy is still, she’s seeing this through. So, I know she’s out today but.

Katie Downer (25:03) That’s fine.

Rahul Gupta (25:04) Yeah.

James Donachie (25:04) Yeah. And then I’m really glad, I apologize on behalf of medallion. I don’t know how we got here but I’m glad that, I at least knew the right person we needed in the room to complete this puzzle.

Katie Downer (25:20) Totally. No. I appreciate it. And yeah, we’ll get it done whenever we get it done and just an update for josh. I think that’s his name. Yes, I call him Frank, but I think it’s josh. I.

James Donachie (25:31) think Frank is part of his last name. It’s like Frank, o? Okay.

Katie Downer (25:34) Yeah. So, josh, we’re still waiting on our lease so we can’t move forward with California medicaid. We have a meeting tomorrow. I’m going to get an update hopefully from legal, but we’re still kind of in limbo on that.

Katie Downer (25:47) Okay time pressure, but still like we want to follow through. So we just wanted to like if josh needed to know that.

James Donachie (25:54) Okay. I’ll let him know anyway. Yeah. Because I think that will be, I think that’s helpful context for him. Yeah.

Katie Downer (26:02) So that’s coming and then we should be able to like press some buttons and.

James Donachie (26:06) Yeah, fill out some forms and yeah, fill.

Katie Downer (26:10) Out some forms, sign, a few things I don’t know.

James Donachie (26:14) Awesome. Well, have fun at, the ABS game. Hopefully, they win, you guys got good seats. I don’t.

Rahul Gupta (26:23) really care if they win or lose, to be honest, I’m just dude.

James Donachie (26:26) They’re the best team in hockey right now are.

Rahul Gupta (26:29) they.

James Donachie (26:29) actually, yeah, they’re the number one team in hockey. They’re.

Katie Downer (26:32) like really up there?

Rahul Gupta (26:35) I just don’t like I saw them from Ohio, right? Columbus. Yeah, buckeyes fans, all that stuff. And then, man, I don’t really get, I don’t really care. I like watching good games, but like in terms of who wins and loses, like, I’m not too.

James Donachie (26:51) You want you’re rooting for the over you’re like more goals, a couple fights, I’m.

Rahul Gupta (26:57) like I’m a gambling man, virta’s paying for, my draftkings.

Katie Downer (27:05) Yeah.

James Donachie (27:08) Well, yeah, I hope it, I mean, it’s the west coast. I mean, the, there should be a lot of goal scoring. I’m trying to think if there’s anyone who’s like a standout on the flames? I mean, the game that’s really awesome to go to is the, I saw the oilers and like Conor mcdavid is like the best in like our generation, but I mean, yeah, like the avs have Nathan Mckinnon, like cal mccarr, like, you know?

Katie Downer (27:40) They’re pretty, yeah. Yeah. My brother works for the la kings and so we don’t I don’t root for the avs and I root for the bruins, but I also now technically have to kind of root for the kings, but they lost the best player in the olympics. So they’re like not gonna clinch. I don’t think they’re Nate’s like, I don’t know if they’re gonna make it to the playoffs this year like that sucks for you?

James Donachie (28:03) So, oh man. Yeah.

Katie Downer (28:06) Yeah. So, I know the players.

James Donachie (28:10) Awesome. Like, yeah, yeah, woo, la has to be cra, I mean, that’s staples center, what they have like a game like every single night like of some sport.

Katie Downer (28:21) Yeah, it’s insane crazy the.

Rahul Gupta (28:23) Turnarounds when they just show the basketball court to a hockey stadium. I’m like and.

James Donachie (28:29) Then they do a whole other basketball team that also plays there. Yeah. Like that’s it’s crazy. Yeah.

Katie Downer (28:38) Yeah. Cool. All right. Well, thanks.

Rahul Gupta (28:40) Good. Hanging out.

James Donachie (28:41) All right. Yeah. Talk to you guys soon. All right. Bye bye.
