Shannon Costine (00:00) one of those mornings, sister, one of those mornings?

Vanessa Persha (00:04) Good morning. I was just about to ping you. I was like my gosh. Where is she?

Shannon Costine (00:12) Girl? I didn’t want to get out of bed. It’s too much.

Vanessa Persha (00:15) I feel that today.

Shannon Costine (00:18) Wait, where did the waiting room just go? Oh, shit. I hate when this happens.

Vanessa Persha (00:26) I need to figure out how to, well, I don’t actually want to turn that off, but.

Shannon Costine (00:38) Settings, I can’t find it.

Vanessa Persha (00:42) If you click on participants.

Shannon Costine (00:46) Participants got it. Thank you.

Shannon Costine (01:02) Taking a second to let Tamara in. What is happening? Good morning. I feel like we just saw each other. Okay? So we have the concern come over with wellnet, and the way that we were processing those. So, I think when Vanessa and I started digging in, we just had some questions about what your process is to see if we need to change it from the payr directory to the project plan, which means they will follow a different process than everybody else. So, I think Tamara, we established that we are only contracting or enrolling the facilities correct… not the providers… correct? Okay. I.

Vanessa Persha (01:53) can’t hear you, Tamara? I’m sorry, I see your mouth moving, but I couldn’t hear you say anything.

Shannon Costine (02:07) and she wasn’t muted, which is weird sometimes if your audio is not turned on though.

Shannon Costine (02:31) Issue today. Yeah, it’s Monday.

Shannon Costine (02:38) I.

Colleen Simpson (02:39) did find one wellmed request that I myself had submitted in error just because we have wellmed wellcare, wellpoint, so, I think I just hit wellmed, by accident, but I did request a cancellation for that one for an individual provider.

Shannon Costine (02:51) Okay. Now, do you know, Colleen, is it all across the board? Everybody is a facility? The reason I ask is they want to cancel out the providers, right? But I want to make sure that there’s no facility that we shouldn’t be doing the providers.

Colleen Simpson (03:06) I believe it’s just going to be the facility for all. But I might when Tamara comes back on if she’s able to just double check with her, but I’m pretty sure it’s going to be all groups. It’s just the facility, okay?

Vanessa Persha (03:22) And I’m going to pull up in our payr directory, Shannon, just so we have that ready that.

Shannon Costine (03:28) Was going to be my next thing. Vanessa was being able to compare what the directory says versus what they’re doing. Hey, Tamara?

Shannon Costine (03:53) There may be a way to call in.

Shannon Costine (04:02) Okay. We’ll just look for head.

Vanessa Persha (04:05) Nods, Tamara of approval.

Shannon Costine (04:10) Tamara, you’re good with us canceling out all provider requests for wellmed. Yeah. Okay. I just wanted to make sure before they go and do that there wasn’t a specific facility that allows us to enroll the providers. I didn’t think so, but I wanted to confirm and then Vanessa, were you able to get the directory in? Yes. So.

Vanessa Persha (04:33) I’m going to share my screen, Tamara, of our process from our payer directory and see where this may differ from the process H ii has historically utilized. So, our directions are for a new group enrollment. We go to this link here to enroll the locations. It’s an optum website, join the network and then we have let me just type it in here. It’s optum, wellmed… and then… type of practice, I’m assuming in this scenario, we would want to pick facility. It’s not a group practitioner. We would enter the group name from the W9 npi tax id. And I’m just going to put some test information in here.

TamraOhnesorge (05:33) Can you hear me now?

Vanessa Persha (05:35) Oh, we can.

Shannon Costine (05:38) Thanks. It’s Monday. Tamara, is that the site that you normally go to?

TamraOhnesorge (05:46) Well, I haven’t done wellmed in a really long time because I’ve been in pediatrics for a while but sure.

Colleen Simpson (05:56) Typically, I’ve done an, it’s a wellmed ancillary form. Yeah, but it might be the same information as this. I’m not sure. I’ve never gone through the website. I’ve always.

Shannon Costine (06:03) Just, I’ve never gone.

TamraOhnesorge (06:04) Through.

Colleen Simpson (06:04) Optum.

TamraOhnesorge (06:05) For.

Shannon Costine (06:05) wellmed.

Vanessa Persha (06:07) Okay. So when you go like the main link from our payr directory takes us here, which is like joining wellmed or employment. But then I noticed over here, it says to become a part of our network contract. Click here. And this is for primary care practices and specialists and ancillary services in Texas, Florida, and New Mexico. And then when I click that link, it brings me here. I did notice that in the instructions you all provided to Tracy during your implementation, it essentially says to fill out a form or a roster and email it directly to. I think her name is Victoria or Veronica or something like that, but I didn’t see like a copy of a spreadsheet or a form that you guys typically fill out. Do you guys have a copy of that form by chance?

Colleen Simpson (07:04) I do have one that I can send you. I don’t know if it varies per group, Tamara, do you know? Because I know that Virginia, is it Virginia? Bella fuente? I think is the.

TamraOhnesorge (07:16) one that reps, does?

Colleen Simpson (07:18) She for all groups or is that just Texas?

TamraOhnesorge (07:23) I think she’s just the rep for Texas. I don’t think she has anything.

Colleen Simpson (07:28) Out of, I think it’s just Texas as well. But yes, I can definitely get this form to you.

Vanessa Persha (07:34) Okay.

Vanessa Persha (07:39) And I’m just going to go through this and just kind of show you so you can see if it’s similar information.

Vanessa Persha (07:57) Credential and contact information. And then, sorry… let me just, actually… is any of this required? Let me just see what the requirements are. Here we go. Do we have an authorized person on file in your like… have you guys provided? Well?

TamraOhnesorge (08:23) Y’all, should be the authorized signer. Okay? On application. The only time it requires external is if it’s like an owner, okay?

Vanessa Persha (08:41) And then primary specialty types, it was. So this is where I think I got stuck was because I went to type in physical therapy, and it just said physical therapist in private practice, which I thought our.

TamraOhnesorge (08:57) texts are ptips. Okay. All.

Vanessa Persha (09:00) Right. I was like, this isn’t an individual physical therapist. It’s a group location. So that kind of threw me off a little bit. And then when we go here, so this is essentially all we would submit, it’s all your practice information, we attach a W9 and then we would submit the information. So this itself does not go directly to your rep in Texas. This would be just… their standard well met enrollment process.

Colleen Simpson (09:32) Okay. Yeah. The form that I have it asks a bunch of different questions about it. Does like it’s kind of like a site assessment form so that it asks if the address is clearly visible from the street, if parking is adequate, things like that.

Vanessa Persha (09:46) And.

Colleen Simpson (09:47) that, I think that takes the place of them actually having to go to do a site visit. Okay? If we attest that it has all of these things and I can send you one with everything even marked on it, so that they don’t have to, because it should be the same, I think for every site practice location, so that they don’t have to reach out to us to ask, hey, what’s the answer for this question? Because there’s a lot of questions on there.

Vanessa Persha (10:06) Okay. That would be perfect. And then just to confirm, so we would submit that form for all locations. But the Texas ones go directly to your… Texas contact.

TamraOhnesorge (10:22) Let me look at an old file from previous employees and see if I can find that information.

Vanessa Persha (10:29) Okay. Because we would normally just email it to providerservice, at wellmed net. I’m sorry, that’s the email we follow up with. So I would assume that is likely who we would email it to unless there’s a specific contact on that form.

Colleen Simpson (11:03) Yeah. The form that I have, it shows contracthelpdesk at wellmed, net, but I don’t you know, this is an older form. So, I’m not sure if that’s still accurate, but.

Shannon Costine (11:20) And that’s on the application that you have, right?

Colleen Simpson (11:25) Yes, it’s the wellmed ancillary application.

Vanessa Persha (11:31) I wonder if that’s where these are routed.

Colleen Simpson (11:37) After you submit them, it could be one of those where you submit this form and then they send you the application, which then it just slows down the process, you know,

Vanessa Persha (11:46) Yeah. Okay. So Colleen, you’ll send us a marked up template of the email. Anybody who is not in Texas will send to the email on the application unless Tamara can find otherwise, and then can’t find anything. Okay? And then the Texas ones will go directly to your Texas contact. Yes.

Colleen Simpson (12:12) And I would, I know, I don’t know if there’s a way in there to just put that, they, the person submitting the form can sign it because they do tend to send us tasks asking for signatures when it’s something that like.

Vanessa Persha (12:23) they can just sign. If.

Colleen Simpson (12:24) I were filling out the application, I would sign it. So, I would expect the person filling it out to sign it because they have that authority. Okay? Perfect.

Vanessa Persha (12:31) So we can put that in the project plan, Shannon, just, any electronic signatures or whatever we can, medallion agents can sign those?

Shannon Costine (12:38) Can sign. Okay?

Vanessa Persha (12:40) Yeah. And then let me go back. So enter practice or group name must match line one of W9. So we’re obviously using your practice location information here, right? We wouldn’t use the group name.

TamraOhnesorge (12:56) You would, because if it has to match the W9, it’s going to be listed as their legal name.

Vanessa Persha (13:01) Okay. All right. Okay. So then practice. Well, actually, we’re not even going to submit this form. So we’ll go off of the form that Colleen sends us, but anywhere where it says group name, we’ll use the actual group name, practice name, obviously practice information. Okay? All right. I think that helps Shannon. And then we can look at that, the sample from Colleen together. And if we have any questions, we can just follow up via email.

Shannon Costine (13:35) Perfect. That works. Thank you guys so much for jumping in this morning, no problem. So early, but we’ll get that done. Thank you. All right.

Vanessa Persha (13:44) Thanks, everyone. Bye bye.
