Sandhya Kapila (00:00) good. morning. Good afternoon. Good day. How are you doing?

Jacqueline Jones (00:09) I’m trying to catch up freshly back from vacation and.

Sandhya Kapila (00:15) nice.

Jacqueline Jones (00:17) Trying to catch up. Oh,

Sandhya Kapila (00:19) yeah, I hear you. Did you go anywhere exciting?

Jacqueline Jones (00:23) Yeah, I did a few things.

Sandhya Kapila (00:27) Well, we’ll have to catch up.

Sandhya Kapila (00:33) yeah, I should check to see if she joins. These are like those calls where, yeah, I have to admit she’s not there yet. I wanted to ask you, are you good with going through the payr process piece today? No, do you?

Jacqueline Jones (00:48) Mean, as far as like the mapping piece or from what perspective?

Sandhya Kapila (00:51) So, just under just getting just walking through it with her and getting an understanding of like what their workflow is?

Jacqueline Jones (01:00) Okay. If I understood better.

Jacqueline Jones (01:10) If I understood what you needed from me better, you mean as far as how their enrollment should work?

Sandhya Kapila (01:19) Correct? Like what they’re currently doing? So, like with medicare. So, for example, I’ll share the link with you because.

Jacqueline Jones (01:27) I’ve never done that before. So, okay.

Sandhya Kapila (01:31) Let me put the link in our slack. Yeah.

Sandhya Kapila (01:51) So, I know that on the sheet, you did like the auto mapping piece. And… then she had mentioned that she was going to add a few more. I didn’t see those added yet, but like we can ask her about that. I was just asking if how you feel about just like walking through like, hey, what do you, is there anything special that you do for medicare? Because, she has a few listed here, not medicare but like bcps Florida where she has non standard enrollment process listed as, yes. And so, I guess just understanding like, hey, what is your current process?

Jacqueline Jones (02:27) Okay. Versus, if there are anything there’s anything that needs to be customized, right? Correct?

Sandhya Kapila (02:32) Yeah, exactly. And then walking through like what we have or we can schedule a separate meeting for that, so, you have time to like regroup?

Jacqueline Jones (02:39) Yeah, that might be more feasible. I know like the implementations, I’ve been on with Naomi, she usually will pose that question and ask, hey, are you using standardized processes for, you know, payer enrollment or do you, is there something that’s you know, have extenuating circumstances we need to be aware of to create a customized process. Does that make sense? Yep?

Sandhya Kapila (03:04) Absolutely. Okay. So, we can take that off then? Okay. All right. Thank.

Kelley Gear (03:08) You.

Jacqueline Jones (03:08) I mean, I’ll support wherever I need to, but just, you know, I want to be on point.

Sandhya Kapila (03:14) Of course, 100.

Kelley Gear (03:15) Percent he’s.

Sandhya Kapila (03:17) In the waiting room. I’m going to let her in, okay?

Sandhya Kapila (03:24) Hey, Kelly.

Jacqueline Jones (03:27) Hi, Kelly.

Sandhya Kapila (03:32) Good morning. How are you?

Jacqueline Jones (03:35) You on mute? Yeah.

Sandhya Kapila (03:37) I can’t really hear you. You can’t hear me? Oh, I can hear you now. I think the volume was just really low. You sound very far away there you are.

Sandhya Kapila (03:52) How are you doing today?

Kelley Gear (03:54) That’s it. I don’t really feel good today.

Jacqueline Jones (03:57) Oh, no.

Kelley Gear (03:59) Hanging in there.

Sandhya Kapila (04:00) Okay. Well, I hope you feel better you?

Kelley Gear (04:02) Know, it’s one of those not bad enough to be home but don’t want to be here kind of thing.

Sandhya Kapila (04:07) Sure. Understood. I hear that. I hear that I was like my son, he was out sick yesterday.

Sandhya Kapila (04:12) He’s 10 years old and then, but, you know, when they’re at home, they’re kind of just like bouncing off the walls and I was like, you’re good enough to go to school and then he started coughing. He’s like, but I’m coughing, I’m like you’re fine. You gotta go to school. Cool. Yeah, we can try to do this quickly because I want to make sure that you get your rest too… but just really wanted to see how things were going on your end.

Jacqueline Jones (04:41) Did you go ahead?

Kelley Gear (04:43) I am trucking… along. I suppose I’m still working on that. I’m still working on that provider enrollment one. I’ve got a lot of them done. I need to just think I need to do Aetna and humana, and then I think I’ll be done with that. I just want to ask you a quick question though… about, I know those, okay? We talked about those paralon forms for hca for all the doctors who are in hca, do I need to send those out to those guys? Or can that be something that’s included in the, that they would sign whenever they, you know, like accept their, you know, invitation for medallion and all that.

Sandhya Kapila (05:30) Yeah, I think those are. So those are paper forms. So they would need to, well, they would need to sign them.

Jacqueline Jones (05:37) Okay. Are.

Sandhya Kapila (05:39) you asking if it would be included as part of like the medallion pocket like a document within medallion for them to sign? Yes?

Kelley Gear (05:46) Yeah, yeah,

Sandhya Kapila (05:48) I can confirm that. I think that it’s something that’s external for medallion, but let me, I will confirm that because I want to make sure that I give you the right answer.

Kelley Gear (05:56) Okay.

Sandhya Kapila (06:01) So, for both mdapp and… parallel.

Kelley Gear (06:07) I would for mdapp, I guess I’m just, I’m gonna, I’m just gonna have to email all the people that, you know, whenever I start. I might just have to let them know in that manner. I suppose.

Sandhya Kapila (06:19) Sure. Yep.

Sandhya Kapila (06:28) And Diane are filled out separately. Okay? I’ll find out for you. Okay?

Sandhya Kapila (06:43) Okay. Great. The other thing… oh, so for the hospital apps I was looking, I was talking to somebody about the appointment… entities tab… and I know that a lot of those fields are optional, however, I think in order to make sure that we’re setting it up properly, it would be, it would be helpful if you could just fill out some of those optional fields as well. Okay. Yeah, like.

Kelley Gear (07:18) Probably the address, the.

Sandhya Kapila (07:20) Address, yep, the address is the.

Kelley Gear (07:22) Right one to make.

Sandhya Kapila (07:25) Sure, exactly make sure it’s the right one. So the address would be good and then confirming whether they have like active appointments or whether that’s active for you guys, not the provider one but the column D.

Sandhya Kapila (07:42) Okay. I was assume that the answer is yes since you’re putting, yeah. So we’ll just leave those as, yes. Yeah.

Kelley Gear (07:49) These are all the active ones. Yeah.

Sandhya Kapila (07:52) Okay. That’s what that is true. Okay, perfect. And then, is it a, is it delegated? I think it’s part partner, right? You’re not doing the joint commission, no.

Kelley Gear (08:08) They’re they’re just on staff there? Okay? At all of them? Yeah, they’re just on staff at all of them. Perfect.

Sandhya Kapila (08:16) Okay. That sounds good. Cool. Yeah. And then if you just fill in the address, that would be great. And then what else did I have on this list here?

Sandhya Kapila (08:36) For, okay. So you, I know you were gonna reach out to the mso to get a list of the exact start and expiration. Dates. Were you able to start on that? No. Okay. That’s fine. I’m asking, I just want to make sure we’re on the same page. Yeah, there’s quite a few. I’m just trying to find my other sheet too, build.

Kelley Gear (09:03) Them, I’ve told my co workers that like the other people who always ask me to do things that I have got to block my calendar off and get this done because, they have to stop scheduling meetings for me. We are, I mean, we just to let you know what else I’m you know, doing we’re opening a, another, we’re opening three offices, basically construction or we’re in major construction for two of them and one of them?

Sandhya Kapila (09:36) I’m.

Kelley Gear (09:38) basically opening by myself because everybody else is dealing with that construction situation. We’re opening like an extra office here in Destin, so that it’s just right next door, like it’s like almost connected but it’s just more space for us. So our rheumatology, all the rheumatologists are going to be in that particular space.

Kelley Gear (09:58) So it’s it won’t be like an address change or anything. It’s just, you know, more space for us here in Destin, but yeah, they’re right? And I have zero help in that. So that’s.

Sandhya Kapila (10:09) you’re trying to manage that whole thing that’s great. You’ve got a lot, you’ve got a lot going on. Okay. Yeah. Okay. No, that sounds good. That’s fine. We understand. I mean, it’s really depending on when you have time, to complete this, right? And once you do, then we’ll get this going and then it’ll make it, it’ll be easier for you. Yeah.

Kelley Gear (10:30) Yeah. I have to let them all, I have to get this. I have to get this going. So before I can do anything else. So, okay, is it possible to go ahead and start on that new dr, Andrew ringle? Because he’s really wanting to start June first if possible, he.

Sandhya Kapila (10:51) wants to start June first. Yep. So what we just need is to get a list of the payers that he’s set up with and then get an understanding of sorry just before we start that, yes, we do, we can get that going. But we do need a list of the payers and understanding like what the process is, to enroll, what your current process is for, in, for enrolling for all the specific players. And that was the sheet that you filled out. So we’re going to review that internally and then come back to you with questions on that. You had actually also mentioned that there were some mid level payers that you were gonna add and include notes for is.

Kelley Gear (11:32) That, yeah, that the mid levels would need. Yeah, one of them was, is Oscar and I did add that… or I’m working on adding. I don’t know that I got it in there yet.

Sandhya Kapila (11:51) No, yeah. I think you did add it to the payer process, scoping this other sheet that we have, which I’ll just pop in here. Why is it not? So… you have quick.

Kelley Gear (12:06) So, also on Oscar, the health alliance does it for the, it, that’s one of the ones like this is exactly like that. Health alliance enrolls the doctors, like any mddo and any podiatrist but they don’t do anything for mid levels. So.

Sandhya Kapila (12:26) Okay.

Sandhya Kapila (12:31) And so, okay. So they don’t do anything for mid levels. And so you don’t need to have anything done for mid levels either?

Kelley Gear (12:41) Just, I mean, yeah, on Aetna and Oscar, those would just be the mid levels. So it would just need y’all, you know, would do, like I said, the health alliance does it for the other doctors. Okay. So, I think I put that in those notes you did. Yep.

Sandhya Kapila (13:00) Okay. So, do you feel that this list, this payor scoping list is complete with all the payors?

Kelley Gear (13:07) All the ones for now? Yeah, for.

Sandhya Kapila (13:08) Now, okay, perfect.

Kelley Gear (13:09) Maybe more in the future that we’re going to look at. But for now, in the health alliance, we’ll do the others.

Sandhya Kapila (13:17) Perfect. Okay. So we’ll go through this list on our end and then compare it to our processes that we have in place. If there’s anything that’s not standard from what we’re seeing, we’ll actually walk through that with you too, to ensure that we’re all on the same track and we can do that if you have time this week, which I know you mentioned things are tight or we can just do that next week during our regular.

Kelley Gear (13:42) Meeting. I can probably squeeze you in this week.

Sandhya Kapila (13:49) Okay. Sounds good. Let us know what works and then we’ll look at our calendars and then pop some, put something on the calendar, what?

Kelley Gear (13:57) Works for you. Actually, I’m pretty open on Thursday. I’m pretty wide open. So, okay. Yeah, I think I can do pretty much any time Thursday.

Sandhya Kapila (14:08) All right. Let me check our calendars real quick.

Kelley Gear (14:11) There’s nothing on Thursday. Did I pop my calendar? Yeah, you can do that more often, right? No, I didn’t I’m just lucky. Okay. That’s perfect. Let’s do any time Thursday that’s good for y’all,

Sandhya Kapila (14:25) perfect. Thursday works with Thursday at 10 a. M. Pacific. So, noon your time work? Yeah.

Kelley Gear (14:34) That’ll be fine. Okay?

Sandhya Kapila (14:36) I’ll block some time. Excuse me?

Sandhya Kapila (14:48) Make sure I include you because that is important.

Sandhya Kapila (15:01) I’m going to block time for one hour, but we may not need the whole time. Okay?

Kelley Gear (15:13) Oops, got my whole day off.

Sandhya Kapila (15:20) All right. I just sent it your way.

Sandhya Kapila (15:30) Okay. All right. So let me know when you’re done with the hospital, the entities tabs the two entities tabs, and then we can get that going in our platform. We can get that loaded in our platform. We will then have that conversation about the payr process scoping session. Is dr, did you say riddle?

Kelley Gear (15:53) Ringle?

Sandhya Kapila (15:53) Sorry about that. I think he’s I think we added him to… medallion already. I’m just looking, yeah.

Kelley Gear (16:03) I put him in there under the providers. There’s. The new one.

Sandhya Kapila (16:08) Perfect. Okay. Just going to log real quick.

Kelley Gear (16:16) This, dr. Lawson, I didn’t even talk to this woman. They just informed me of that one. I need to reach out to her and let her know what’s going on before you guys do. Okay. All right?

Sandhya Kapila (16:33) So we will not add her just yet. Yeah. Okay. So we can add dr. Ringle. I thought we had added him, we can go ahead and do that. Yeah, we can do that on your behalf.

Kelley Gear (16:48) July, I actually put July in for dr ringle, but he would really like to start on June first. I’m going to change that. Okay?

Kelley Gear (17:05) That’s probably not realistic, but.

Sandhya Kapila (17:08) we can try it. I’m actually going to do it with you so you can see what I’m doing too. All right. So, I am signed up.

Kelley Gear (17:17) I have a bunch of his stuff. If he’s in, I actually was scanning his stuff. All of, his wife brought me everything like all his documents and everything. I could probably drop them in there and then they can do the rest. Okay?

Sandhya Kapila (17:33) Great. Okay. I’m going to share my screen and so let’s do this together. Let’s go here… doctor, this email copy, and then providers… and my provider, we are not going to invite him. We’ll input his info.

Sandhya Kapila (17:59) Oh, no, wrong one. Did I add the wrong one? Let’s just make sure I do, the right person.

Sandhya Kapila (18:11) Yeah, Drew. Yeah.

Kelley Gear (18:13) I don’t have dr ringel in there on my side. Okay?

Sandhya Kapila (18:23) And then start day, you put a six one?

Sandhya Kapila (18:31) Okay. And then profession one, did you have that in there for him? This Guy is covering MD. Perfect.

Sandhya Kapila (18:46) Great. Okay. So now he is added as a provider. And when you go to the providers tab, in medallion, you’ll see that he’s in there. Yep. Cool. And then does he have a caqh number? He does. So what we’ll do and I will show you. And so the next people that you add, you’ll be able to do this for them too. It’s like a one time caqh import. So remember how I did that bulk import. If you’re adding one by one, you can go in and go down here to closest Guy and hide this. Want to speed up profile completion, go to data imports, get data from your caqh profile. So you link it, you put in caqh id, and then we’ll grab his social… and then put that in there. And then his last name is in there and then it’ll try to verify it. Okay? So I found it. And so now we’re gonna confirm and link. Okay? So it might take some time before his… account before his account is linked. He will get an email just to notify him that we’re trying to view his data. Okay. Yeah. So then once that once that’s complete whatever information caqh has, we’ll be able to pull that in here. Cool. And so as your, if, whenever you’re ready to add dr Lawson, you can follow that same process. Okay? Cool.

Kelley Gear (20:30) Yeah. I got nothing on her. I have her name. Cool. Yeah.

Sandhya Kapila (20:36) We’ll wait to get all the other info from her. And then, and then you can actually add in the specific practice that he should be associated with, dr Engel. You can add it directly in medallion… also. So if you go to practices, you can add practice from here. Okay. Yeah. So to do that actually, do you know right now what practice he would be associated with?

Kelley Gear (21:06) Yeah. He’ll be at the racetrack. He’s he’s gastroenterology, okay?

Sandhya Kapila (21:14) Racetrack there. It is perfect. So, and that would be his primary location. Yeah. Okay. Perfect. Great. And that’s it easy peasy.

Kelley Gear (21:28) I’ll tell you something about him too, that might be a little confusing whenever you pull his information from caqh and stuff. So his current office is actually in… 417 a racetrack. It’s in the building that we’re that we acquired. Okay? So he’s basically going to be walking across the parking lot… so.

Sandhya Kapila (22:01) Whenever.

Kelley Gear (22:03) You see his stuff? You’re going to see that he’s already at where he is. That’s that’s his current, you know, location, his current practice, but he’s like I said, walking across the parking lot to join us. So.

Sandhya Kapila (22:16) Okay. Great. Okay. So he was at that location and then you guys acquired that location and so now it’s going to be.

Kelley Gear (22:23) It’s yeah, it’s a really big large building. Okay? And he has like one of the suites in it and we’re taking his suite, knocking it down and he’s coming over to us. So. Okay.

Sandhya Kapila (22:38) Well, that works. Yeah. Okay. That’s good to know. So that when we go into it, it’ll be like, wait, he already works here.

Kelley Gear (22:46) Okay.

Sandhya Kapila (22:48) That sounds good. And I’m just going to go back here and see.

Sandhya Kapila (22:56) Okay. So we did retrieve the info… and so… yeah, so you can import, you can review all of this info as you’re going through his account and then import the selected fields.

Sandhya Kapila (23:17) I think they may already be imported though. Let me just double check real quick… or I may just take time. I’m also a little impatient so let’s just give it some time. Okay. Yeah. And I’ll let you know how it, I’ll let you know when it’s it looks complete to me. Okay? Perfect. And.

Kelley Gear (23:41) I can, like I said, I just, I was, I just finished scanning all of his documents, so I can drop a bunch of them in there. So he didn’t have to do it twice, but, you know, hopefully it’ll be real, yeah.

Sandhya Kapila (23:54) Perfect. Yeah. And if you, so now that you have access to this, you can go ahead and start inputting their information. We can do a training session actually also possibly next week during our call or maybe, yeah, let me think through that because I want to also get your appointment info in there. So let’s get that appointment info in to our system, and then we can do an initial training session.

Kelley Gear (24:21) Okay. Cool.

Sandhya Kapila (24:27) Any other questions? Oh, I don’t think.

Kelley Gear (24:31) So, okay.

Sandhya Kapila (24:32) Great. Well, thank you. I’ll send you a follow up and I’ll let you know when his profile is ready for you to go in and add more info too.

Kelley Gear (24:40) Okay. All right. I’ll try to do that this afternoon too. Okay? Thank you.

Sandhya Kapila (24:44) Thank you. I hope you feel better.

Kelley Gear (24:46) All right. Thanks. Talk to you later. Yeah, bye.
