Seth Weidle (00:00) hi, Megan. Can you hear me?

Meagan Arant (00:06) Hi, good morning. I can.

Seth Weidle (00:08) Great. Good morning. How are you doing today?

Meagan Arant (00:10) Good. How are you?

Seth Weidle (00:11) I’m doing wonderful. Thank you for asking. Where are you calling in from, South Carolina? Oh, is it hot there?

Meagan Arant (00:19) Has it?

Seth Weidle (00:20) Started? Yeah.

Meagan Arant (00:21) We’re like today’s. Supposed to be a high in the nineties. Why are we there yet?

Seth Weidle (00:26) Do you get like, what like two days of spring,

Meagan Arant (00:29) Some, it depends sometimes we get a good spring. I mean, we definitely get cold winters. That’s why it’s just such a drastic, like you get those cold winters, the hot summers, and somewhere in between we get a little fall and spring.

Seth Weidle (00:41) Yep. I’m in Pennsylvania. So we get all four thankfully, but, my good friend lives in emerald isle, North Carolina. And he says pretty much the same thing. The carolinas, are drastic when it comes to, the middle of the winter, all the way to summer, so.

Meagan Arant (00:58) Well.

Seth Weidle (00:58) Appreciate you hopping on here. I have us jotted down for 15 minutes. Does that time frame work for you? Do you have any other hard stops or anything?

Meagan Arant (01:05) Yeah, that’s fine. Awesome.

Seth Weidle (01:07) Purpose of, this meeting is really just to learn a little bit more, understand what it is you’re kind of looking for in a tool like medallion, share as much information as I can about medallion and our process. And if it looks like a good fit, we’ll get you connected with one of our product experts, who can do a deeper discussion, and then also demo or whatever it may be, that makes the most sense. So, with that, I’ll turn it over to you if you just want to share your role, kind of what the idea is in a tool like medallion, and we’ll go from there. Okay?

Meagan Arant (01:40) My name is Megan. A rant. I work for physician services. I am the operations analyst. I’ve worked with physician services for 13 years, just made my anniversary, and we have, well, really, we are a third party billing company and we do like a lot of, you know, pretty much whatever the practice asks for that’s what we do. So, a few years ago, they.

Seth Weidle (02:10) it.

Meagan Arant (02:11) was just, they were having actually, it was around covid where, you know, staff and everything was really, it was hard to get work done. And so the credentialing office that one of well, actually it was like three different of our provider clients. They wanted us to take on the credentialing.

Meagan Arant (02:30) And so we did some research about, we knew we needed a platform and… we did some research for what was out there at the time. And so we went with modio and I’m not sure if you’re familiar with modio in the credentialing realm. And so at the time that’s what we thought was what we needed. And so now we’re just reviewing to see what’s out there because AI has, you know, jumped in, you know, can do a lot of things. And originally that’s what we were looking for modio for was like doing some automated tasks and it does do some automated stuff like we really love it for the reporting features, but we still have a lot of tedious things that have to get done. And so that’s where we’re just trying to bridge the gap of manual labor versus what can AI help us do in a platform that’s already built without us having to build it?

Seth Weidle (03:32) Gotcha. Awesome. Yeah, totally understand where you’re coming from. We talk with a couple different companies. The one thing I want to address as quickly as possible is just because we do work with RCM companies that do kind of, you know, what you mentioned and a lot of times they come in looking for like a platform or like a white label, whereas we prefer a partnership model. So we would work directly with your clients for the credentialing licensing, payer, enrollment, whatever those tasks may be. And then there would be, you’d receive a referral fee after the close with that. So, is that something you’re looking for? Are you looking for more of like a platform where you would be able to go in and actually do a lot of the credentialing and things like that?

Meagan Arant (04:24) We would be looking for more of a having the ownership because of just the workflow and things that happen. It’s just like the reason why we have the job is because the client can’t get it on their side. And so that’s where.

Seth Weidle (04:48) gotcha. Well, so we don’t offer like a white label like software solution. We’re built off of a model of where we would own the outcomes. So we would take on the credentialing take on the pay, enrollment, the licensing, whatever it may be, and then own the outcomes for that. Now, it sounds like that probably isn’t going to fit, within your search because we’re not like a, it sounds like a self serve like what you’re looking for is more of a self serve type approach. Would that be accurate? Yeah. And unfortunately, we don’t do any. We don’t offer any self serve products at this point. So, it, if that’s like a deal breaker, unfortunately, we won’t be the right solution.

Meagan Arant (05:37) Gotcha. Okay. All right. Well, thank you. I mean, at least it was good to, you know, at least hear to make sure before we move forward, yeah.

Seth Weidle (05:46) Exactly. And like I said, we have had this conversation with many other companies in your very similar spot. I brought it up to my leadership like, hey, you know, this, we get a lot of these people coming in. Could we possibly, you know, open something for them? And unfortunately, we just, we’re not at that spot where we can provide a self serve option.

Meagan Arant (06:07) Gotcha. All right. Well, thank you so much.

Seth Weidle (06:10) You bet Megan you have a great day and a great rest of your week.

Meagan Arant (06:14) You too. All right, bye.
