Katie Downer (00:00) hello?
James Donachie (00:01) Hey… Raul’s, in the waiting room. You guys, you got some virta swag on today? I,
Katie Downer (00:11) you know, I try to wear virta swag as much as I can.
James Donachie (00:17) And Raul… you got, is that virta swag hat?
Rahul Gupta (00:22) I think we’re working on a collab with north face. So it will be soon… Katie’s got a collab one north face virta.
James Donachie (00:32) Yeah, north face virta that’s high. Is this?
Katie Downer (00:35) North face? Oh, huh. That’s nice. It.
James Donachie (00:40) Is also a 70 here. I just want to, I’m also in a.
Rahul Gupta (00:43) Do you have a sweater?
James Donachie (00:44) Yeah, we all have sweaters on. It is 70 degrees and sunny.
Katie Downer (00:49) I do have shorts on, okay. So, but I do have a blanket as well. So I,
Amy Barfield (00:54) can’t.
James Donachie (00:57) oh… Amy, we’re supposed it’s supposed to drop 35 degrees within the next 48 hours here. And there’s like alleged snow on the way you’re muted by the way. No.
Amy Barfield (01:13) Wonder. I was saying things and, yeah, I will, I would take that over the tornadoes we’ve been having here in Oklahoma. So, yeah, it’s tornado season. It seems a little early because it usually doesn’t start till like mid may June, but, yeah, we had some crazy storms over the last few weeks, so.
James Donachie (01:36) We in Colorado, it’s crazy weather. Yeah, we’re now getting tornado warnings here, which they’re like to the east of Denver a little bit, but like out by the airport, where it’s flat. There’s been there’s like a tornado. Yeah, there’s a tornado in like Aurora park, Parker like last year, I want to say, which is kind of crazy.
Amy Barfield (02:02) I’ve never, I’ve.
James Donachie (02:04) never experienced tornadoes as part of my growing up on the north, we had hurricanes, yeah, which were also not fun but no tornadoes. No, I.
Amy Barfield (02:14) think, I don’t know, I think I’d take tornado over hurricane. You can’t avoid a hurricane. It’s like just there, I mean, you can’t avoid a tornado either, but there’s a better chance it’s not going to come your way. I guess.
James Donachie (02:27) I guess that is a good way of looking at it.
Amy Barfield (02:29) Yeah, I guess let’s see. Yeah, our alarms went off. Not last night but the night before and I was like, oh, I didn’t even know it was going to storm and I stepped outside. It wasn’t raining or anything. I live in a suburb of Tulsa and so, I guess they had tornado warnings. So it was like coming into our area. So they’re like, oh, we should probably warn you now. It’s coming, so.
James Donachie (02:54) Yeah.
Katie Downer (02:55) I just don’t want to live in a place that I have either of those. So.
Amy Barfield (03:00) You’re like I’ll stick with the snow. I’ll shovel my car out that’s okay.
Amy Barfield (03:03) It’ll melt. Yeah. Okay. Cool. Let’s get rolling here. So… we were going to do kind of just a walkthrough of a couple providers, right? Yes, in what you needed done, medicare wise?
Katie Downer (03:22) Yes, I haven’t done anything medicare wise on our end besides like the like, updating Rahul’s like, you know, information in the platform, making sure, what else was there? There was like two things that I had to do in the platform, but I have not, submitted any group or provider, applications for medicare yet because I wanted to make sure that everything was cleared out of the way.
Amy Barfield (03:46) Sure. Let me get into your.
Rahul Gupta (03:49) Real quick before we hop in there. James about Texas medicaid. I’m not sure if there’s I know there’s been some updates in the platform that we checked on today, but given, I think that’s definitely our number one priority right now.
Katie Downer (04:03) Katie, go ahead. Yeah. So I call Texas medicaid, okay of the day, because James, it looked like we were approved. And then when I went in this morning, it said that like we needed like the demographic update change had to be done because the address wasn’t correct, and like, I was a little confused on that. So, I called Texas medicaid and confirmed that virta as a group is approved with Texas medicaid. However, the, address on file for that is like the 1,550 Voss road and the six five five, Montgomery street. So, the addresses in the Texas medicaid portal are correct. So, what needs to be done on the Vir on the medallion side for this line item so that now the providers can get through, because we do need to get these, I think it’s 37 providers that are blocked right now. Like what do we need to do to get that going? Because right now, it says it’s in client hands, as, the position.
Amy Barfield (05:11) Let’s look at those real quick. Let me know when you can see my screen.
James Donachie (05:19) I’m still getting, oh there.
Katie Downer (05:20) It is. Oh, there it is.
Amy Barfield (05:21) Good. Okay. Let’s look at maybe… Texas. It’s just and I’m… in your profile, yeah. Okay. Perfect.
Amy Barfield (05:50) Okay. So, what we have is there on hold pending dependency?
Katie Downer (05:55) Yes.
Amy Barfield (05:56) Okay. You’re saying, okay.
Katie Downer (05:57) Yeah, but if you go to the group revalidation page… line, it switched from like payer processing back to needs client attention for the group?
Amy Barfield (06:19) Okay. So, it shows completed for… the group. So, what that should have done is.
Katie Downer (06:28) That, the new one, I don’t think those are that’s the I.
Rahul Gupta (06:31) Think it’s listed under like traditional? Yeah.
Katie Downer (06:34) For.
Rahul Gupta (06:35) some reason. So, it’s confusing.
Amy Barfield (06:38) What do you mean traditional? So.
Rahul Gupta (06:40) If you do the search on the left for… the payer on, you can see, stay under group, but under a payer, yeah, that filter just.
Katie Downer (06:49) Get rid of that and just do Texas, like if you do, yeah, just do.
Rahul Gupta (06:52) Texas? Yeah.
Katie Downer (07:05) And then you’ll see the third line item that stars the tech, traditional medicaid traditional? Why?
Amy Barfield (07:11) Do we have it named that, that’s weird.
Katie Downer (07:14) Yes, I’ve.
Rahul Gupta (07:15) asked this question for years now because it’s taken years well?
Amy Barfield (07:23) Yeah, we’ll probably need to do James like once we get everything squared away, maybe do like an enrollments cleanup to make sure that the custom names are out and the payer names that are in the system that we’re using moving forward so that all the enrollments are under the same payer versus like broken out by custom names. And then medallion… names, does that make sense? It?
James Donachie (07:47) Does I’m going to get with you on that? Because I haven’t had.
Amy Barfield (07:50) Yeah, yeah. Yeah, we can do that together. We’re.
James Donachie (07:53) untangling the weeds one step at a time. So.
Katie Downer (07:59) If you click on that, that’s what the like that line item. So… we were approved, which is great. So, like Texas medicaid by the state, we are good, but we do need to do, I don’t I want to get clarification on what this means so that we can start enrolling the providers. Okay?
Amy Barfield (08:24) So, they’re saying that you need a demographic update because these, this location is.
Katie Downer (08:30) No longer anything?
Amy Barfield (08:31) Not enrolled, and,
James Donachie (08:34) that is what Katie called on, right? Yeah. And so that’s been done, okay?
Amy Barfield (08:41) So, you see that approved? I?
Katie Downer (08:43) So, I guess like I’m confused because that isn’t even in the system of Texas medicaid. Like, I don’t know where that address came from. That’s not something that like we’ve like we’re using. So like I’m a little confused as to what like what the demographic update would be? Would it be the R 1,550 Voss road, sugarland, Texas? Is that what I would link it to? Is it for the group? Is it for each individual provider? Yeah.
Amy Barfield (09:15) James, I think you’re gonna have to contact whoever this is or the team lead on this account and just ask for more clarification because this is not, I mean, it’s a California location. It’s not even a Texas location. So, what address? This is not a service location in Texas. What are they wanting here? Okay? Yeah, this is, yeah.
James Donachie (09:42) I don’t even thank you.
Katie Downer (09:44) Amy for confirming that. I wasn’t going back like I don’t understand what this means? Would?
Amy Barfield (09:52) You please create a group demographic. We wouldn’t create a group demographic. But, okay, let me ask this as like.
Katie Downer (10:01) You.
Amy Barfield (10:02) saw the approval for Texas medicaid. Does it look the… way you want it to look like? Is it approved with all the locations you need? You don’t see anything that needs changes to it via?
Katie Downer (10:16) Tmhp, it was, it looks to be fine. Like in their platform, when I called, like the information that I gathered on the phone, it was completely fine. And when I logged into the tmhp portal, like the group was fine. So that’s all good. However, none of our people in there. So like our old providers that were linked to this, we need to change their addresses because they were linked to an old address. So we want to make sure when we’re applying for these new Texas medicaid like enrollments for these providers, that they’re linked to, the approved one. Yeah.
Amy Barfield (11:00) To what’s ever on there now. So, correct. Let’s add a note here. This is not a location… in Texas and does not need to be added. Customer… has confirmed the group enrollment is approved… with all locations needed. So, would you say that this enrollment’s not? Even let me just say, please confirm and approve? I believe that’s the moment… and medallion… does that sound good? Yeah.
Katie Downer (11:53) I mean, that’s great. I just want to make sure that we’re moving forward with the providers because we want to get, that ball rolling. Oh, I.
Amy Barfield (12:04) put it, I put it under your name because I forgot it was in there when the other says, okay.
Amy Barfield (12:15) And then you’ll see.
Amy Barfield (12:25) I hope they reach out to things.
Amy Barfield (12:32) That’s better.
James Donachie (12:39) Okay. I’ll also, I’ll ping that line too.
Amy Barfield (12:46) Yeah, this.
Rahul Gupta (12:46) Is definitely the most important thing for us right now. We have, this has taken over a year and a half and we have patients that are Texas medicaid. So I think a few things is one the new provider enrollments, but also Frank Dumont, Jeffrey Stanley and Caroline roberts. These are three providers that their revalidation is expiring in may. So next month, so, and they’re seeing patients actively. So if that expires we have no one at virta who can see these patients. So we’ll have to release 500 patients, which is, cannot happen under any circumstance. So I think if we can prioritize their revalidation like star, it do whatever we need to do it flag internally. So we get that done before may and then also simultaneously prioritize the new licenses or the new enrollments for the 37. Once we figure out this address situation, that would be awesome. I know Janine spent a lot of time working on this, James. You probably caught the tail end of it. So you probably understand the importance, but just want to make sure because like we did send three emails out like one was 12 days ago, then Katie followed up. And then I sent another follow up but like no one responded to any of those emails. And I know Amy’s out of office but still given the importance here, I want to make sure we’re on the same page when.
Amy Barfield (14:06) Are those revalves due? Like when do they expire?
Rahul Gupta (14:10) May end of may, I believe. So it’s coming up here.
Amy Barfield (14:16) James, I would really push and just keep tabs on Texas medicaid providers.
Amy Barfield (14:25) And get the like come up with some kind of plan with the team lead to get those out by the end of the week.
Katie Downer (14:32) Okay. Yeah, I say.
Amy Barfield (14:35) End of the week, maybe like beginning of next week because I know tomorrow’s Friday and I don’t know what’s on their reporting. So… yeah, yeah, if you need help with that, let me know and I’ll help you get that pushed out. But, okay. So for ready to dip into medicare. Okay. Sorry, my dad, he’s tinkering in my backyard. So, okay. So let’s see medicare.
Katie Downer (15:05) So just to confirm Amy and James, you’re going to let us know what demographic update we need to do, like what is happening?
Amy Barfield (15:13) You don’t need to do it. Yeah, you don’t need to do a demographic update for the Texas medicaid because if you’re saying your locations are approved and there’s no changes that need to be made, we don’t need to do a demographic update for California location in Texas. Okay? Perfect. Yeah. So that demographic update needs to be done, they just need to release those providers that are holding for the group to be completed. And then… and complete the group line. The one that says medicaid tech or traditional. Okay? So.
Katie Downer (15:46) It’s on you. So for it’s on you guys right now, we’re just holding tight.
Amy Barfield (15:50) Yeah.
James Donachie (15:51) So, I’m gonna, I’ll follow up with that note to the, also, to the team on our internal channels. Okay?
Amy Barfield (16:00) Let’s see. Are we recording this call? Yeah. Yes. Okay. Good. Just in case we need to refer back to what we’re doing here. Okay? So, what providers? What do you want to start with? First? We know that medicare, you have some re, well, you have some term providers. So you need to link them to the group, and then we need to make changes to the group enrollment, correct to update? Or did we already submit those requests? I have?
Katie Downer (16:32) Not submitted those because I was waiting to make sure that med, like not no offense to you but like medallion wouldn’t be confused if like we sent more in that there’s not multiple line items for let’s say like the state of like Alabama or whatever that it would just be refresh and new. But I do think that the, one of the priorities would be like the providers that are just disenrolled completely because they don’t have any medicare at the moment?
Amy Barfield (17:02) Yeah. So there’s a way to do the group update. And at link those providers. Well, no, they’ll have to go through an I, you’ll need to get the group updated because… whoever’s on that group enrollment will have to also sign, but those are going to roll right? The signatures.
Katie Downer (17:24) They should be now because we updated that.
Amy Barfield (17:26) Stuff updated the, okay, good. So, do you want to start with providers or the group?
Katie Downer (17:32) Let’s do the group? Okay? So there’s.
Amy Barfield (17:35) one or two ways that you can do it, you can go into payers and just start a request of new payer enrollment… and you can select medallion group, select the group, select which state I’m just picking a random here, but we will do one together. You can type in medicare. Well, let’s do a state that you’re in Texas. Since we’re talking about Texas. So filter by payer states, these are all the enrollments that you should have for Texas. Filter by, no, these are just filtered, not a care. It’ll tell you which ones you’re enrolled in already. Yeah. So it shows you’re enrolled here. So we wouldn’t need to do a new, we would need to do a demographic, single demographic… or group. So.
James Donachie (18:36) If it’s already enrolled, then go to demographic update. Yes. And then we’re going.
Amy Barfield (18:43) To do medicare.
Amy Barfield (18:52) Why does this look different? There we go. We’re doing a demographic update. We’re going to do practice locations, lines of business, whatever you decide that need to be done, you can click here. If it’s something that fall out of these two, you’re going to hit other. Either way, you can put a note here. So that note that I said like change of ownership or change of ao, or adding these locations, you’re going to put it here in this notes section. Okay? So that’s one way you can do it. Another way you can do it is if you have an existing enrollment, let’s go into enrollment, which you should, for most of these medicare’s we’re going to go medicare.
Amy Barfield (19:38) And then you can see your par, you can come right over here to these three dots and request a demographic update. Okay? Make sure you’re on your group enrollments, though not all… there we go. So here’s your group enrollments. So for, if you’re changing Alaska, you’re going to come to these three dots, request a demographic update and it auto, I feel like this is the easier way to do it because it auto fills everything already based on your current enrollment. And then you just have to select these and then add your note and hit next. Okay. Perfect. So which one would you like to do first?
Katie Downer (20:21) Which state? Oh, Alaska’s right there all.
Amy Barfield (20:26) Right. Sweet. Okay. So, we’re going to do… request demographic update and there’s also one for revalidation. So, if you ever have a revalidation, you can select revalidation two on that three and it auto generates everything. So, this shows that medallion’s going to own this enrollment. If it’s something that you wanted to own, you could just click virta health and then you would own it and it’d go into client owned, but we’re doing medallion… and then we’re doing a demographic update and remind me, I gave you… I’m trying to think is the agenda on our meeting? It?
James Donachie (21:06) Should be, I can also pull it.
Amy Barfield (21:09) Yeah, I don’t see it on here, why because I know I left you some notes on, yes.
Katie Downer (21:16) Here, give.
Amy Barfield (21:18) me the link to that if you can.
James Donachie (21:22) I got you. Yeah, I can’t find my zoom.
Amy Barfield (21:27) Oh, here it is.
Amy Barfield (21:40) Bye. Okay.
Amy Barfield (21:58) Is this the address? We’re updating the correspondence address? Yeah. Here’s. This.
Katie Downer (22:05) Is what you sent in the email, I just put in the notes in terms… of like what we should write? Okay, good.
James Donachie (22:15) Yeah, that’s.
Katie Downer (22:26) okay, good. And we also.
Amy Barfield (22:28) Need to update the email here, update email addresses, because there were several email addresses. Do you want that to be Raul’s email address or yours? Let’s do?
Katie Downer (22:39) My, Raul, if you’re there, we should do mine, right?
Amy Barfield (22:45) Should we do credentialing? Okay?
Katie Downer (22:48) That’s a great idea.
Amy Barfield (22:52) Is it just credentialing? Yeah, it’s for everything in general, yeah.
Katie Downer (22:55) Credentialing at virtahealth com.
Amy Barfield (23:03) And then I’m going to put Katie or Catherine… what’s your last name? Downer?
Katie Downer (23:13) D o WNER.
Amy Barfield (23:16) What’s your email Catherine?
Katie Downer (23:18) Downerevertohelp? Com.
Amy Barfield (23:22) Oh, it’s Catherine with an IENE… I can come in. What is it? Oh, R, INEERINE. Yeah.
Amy Barfield (23:45) Oh, gosh. Come on. Is that right? I’m missing a TH. Yeah. Is that right? Yes. Okay. Thank you for catching that.
Katie Downer (24:06) I think there’s two. I’s.
Amy Barfield (24:11) yep. I got you. Thank you. Help me. And then, yeah.
Amy Barfield (24:25) And then Rahul’s, email Rahul.
Katie Downer (24:28) It’s just Rahul Gupta or Rahul period? Yeah, I just,
Amy Barfield (24:31) I just put it. Perfect. Okay. And then we’re going to do, remove… five, oh one folsom street, add that… one? Okay?
Amy Barfield (25:05) Let’s see, remove Joseph as delegated no longer employees refer to remove his email from all sections of the application replace with, but I’m joining.
Amy Barfield (25:22) The eft email contact too. I think I have to have a person as well. Do you want that to be Raul or yourself? Yeah.
Katie Downer (25:31) Let’s do Raul?
Katie Downer (25:37) Okay. Your signatures?
Amy Barfield (25:38) Email notifications are sent to, are those going to Raul or credentialing? Credentialing?
Katie Downer (25:44) Please? Okay.
Amy Barfield (25:55) Does that look correct?
Katie Downer (25:58) The.
Amy Barfield (25:59) things we want to do… update the address, update the email, add you enroll as contacts, remove Joseph, update the eft contact, and then ensure signatures are sent to credentialing. Yes. Yep. That’s.
Katie Downer (26:20) that should be good. Should we know? I’m just quite curious. Should we note that Jeffrey Stanley is the ao, still? Like we’re still waiting for the, for that to like change. So, I’m wondering if we should still like make a note of like anything that says Jeffrey Stanley can just stay, but anything that has like… Joseph miller should be replaced. I don’t know just in case, like I do want people like if Jeff Stanley has to stay on there, then we should keep it on there. Yeah.
Amy Barfield (26:55) I have it. They will select Jeffrey as the signature. So ensure the signature when selecting Jeffrey for signature?
Katie Downer (27:03) Okay. Perfect. Yeah. And.
Amy Barfield (27:07) Then whenever that changes, then you can, you know, if ownership changes or whatever, then we can do another demographic update. Perfect. Okay. So going back here, we’re selecting practice locations because well, we’re… updating… we’re not updating practice locations. We’re just updating mailing information. And then, so I’m just going to select other because it’s not actually a practice location. Okay. So let me make sure this looks, right?
Amy Barfield (27:48) Okay. So that’s clear as day. They should have no confusion here. So next… standardized payer name, so it’s asking you, do you want to switch it to the standardized payer name? And we do want to do that. So we’re going to select this one, yeah, the update and submit request. So when it does update it’ll, update in your existing enrollment? Okay? Perfect. Okay. So you can mimic this one? Yeah, or copy and paste from here? Yeah.
Katie Downer (28:20) I will be don’t, you worry.
Amy Barfield (28:24) Okay. So now,
Katie Downer (28:26) we have that, right? So, like what would we have to do for all the providers that are linked to Alaska person? Like I don’t know if there are any, but like let’s say that there was, so.
Amy Barfield (28:36) Of the providers, you don’t have to make any changes to them. It will because they’re just linked to the group. So anything that happens under the group will reflect for those providers. The only thing you need to do for the providers are the ones that termed or did and revalidate, we need to put something in for them. Okay? Perfect.
Katie Downer (28:55) Can you show me how to do that? I believe one of the names is Reyes, RE y ES.
Katie Downer (29:07) I believe I got a notification for him being termed or deactivated or something along those lines. Okay?
Amy Barfield (29:17) So, those pairs he… already has existing, do you know which one it is that’s deactivated? It was?
Katie Downer (29:28) The New Mexico?
Amy Barfield (29:33) This one? Okay. Yes. So in here, it doesn’t show he is linked at all to anything related to. So this probably came over from caqh, correct? Yes. Yeah. Okay. So as long as it looks like this, like all of these are blank and you just see this, he does not have an existing linkage or enrollment with virta.
Katie Downer (29:56) Okay.
Amy Barfield (29:57) You see that there’s a connection with virta, from the past and it just lapsed. We’re going to have to go in and delete the record and start from scratch. I was trying to figure out James and I were trying to figure out with our tech support. If there was a way just to update the current information. The only way to do that is with a demographic update and this is not a true demographic update. This is an initial enrollment because it’s lapsed. So… yeah, the only way to remove it would be just to remove it completely from here. And you can come to these three dots and just delete it. I would try to make the request first. If it doesn’t let you make the request that’s what will have to happen. You’ll have to come in and delete the record and then make the request.
Katie Downer (30:45) Make the request as in just like a new payr enrollment. Yeah.
Amy Barfield (30:50) So, if they’re termed and you didn’t remember, do you remember that video that I sent and you could check to see if they had an existing record. Yeah.
Katie Downer (30:59) So, I did that for the ones that I?
Amy Barfield (31:01) Like saw?
Katie Downer (31:02) And I didn’t and I think I messaged back that they were… it’s been a long day. What did I do? What did I send you? Because I did go, look at it.
Amy Barfield (31:18) And really, in this case, if this ptn hasn’t termed, he is active in medicare, you checked and he’s like, yes, he has active enrollment. Based on that video I sent, you can come over here and do a demographic update and say this provider needs to be linked to our group. He’s already active in medicare with an eight five five, I, which I’ll help you put that note in there. Okay?
Katie Downer (31:39) Yeah, let’s see. It appears that in Pecos, he’s not registered and that we have a line item that says he was deactivated. And then we also have under payers, he is listed as active but not linked to virta,
Amy Barfield (31:54) So,
Katie Downer (31:55) I think that means we just, he is like, he is active or he’s not active in Pecos?
Amy Barfield (32:02) Okay. So, let’s do an initial enrollment. So we’re going to go, you, can we’re in his profile? So you can do this from payers. But then you have to fill out all the information because they don’t know what providers say all that. But since we’re in here, we’re going to go into his profile, go to requests, new payer enrollment. I’m gonna say Berta… and this is for New Mexico yep.
Amy Barfield (32:45) Hair.
Amy Barfield (32:51) and you can see he’s enrolled in medicare but not with Berta. So, you’re gonna come down here to medicare. Oh, there it goes. Stop, group enrollment, not found for this payer.
Amy Barfield (33:13) So, this is saying that you don’t have a group enrollment for this payer, let me check something.
Katie Downer (33:43) I’m glad we’re walking through this.
Amy Barfield (33:58) So, we need to, yeah. So we need to, if you have a group enrollment, which I’m pretty sure you do because you had a lot that I went through. So, if there is a group enrollment, we just need to add that enrollment here. We have to add the group enrollment, so we can show the linkage to that group with the provider in medallion. Okay.
Katie Downer (34:21) So, what do I have to do for that?
Amy Barfield (34:24) Do you have a group enrollment for New Mexico? Let’s see, okay?
Amy Barfield (34:48) I’m seeing one… do you have the ptm for the group?
Katie Downer (34:59) I have a pair id?
Amy Barfield (35:10) Can I quickly show.
Katie Downer (35:12) you what I see? Okay?
Katie Downer (35:23) In payers that we have in enrollment, we have medicare, New Mexico, direct enrollment payer id.
Amy Barfield (36:08) Ptm, it just says par, oh, wait, it’s under payer id. Yeah, we’ll have to clean that up too. That’s weird. Let me, okay, let me try this again. Okay, let me stop my share.
Amy Barfield (36:28) What was… the provider’s name again? Reyes?
Amy Barfield (37:09) Right. Thank you.
Amy Barfield (37:33) Can you flag this? James, like why is this? I’m wondering if it’s because it had us change the custom payer name earlier and I don’t know if it’s just not reading. I don’t know the name, but you can keep moving forward. If you see this, just move forward. If they don’t if payer enrollment doesn’t see an enrollment, then they’ll flag you, to, add it as well in task, but we know there’s one that exists. So, I’m going to hit next.
Katie Downer (38:05) Can you share what you’re seeing? Oh.
Amy Barfield (38:08) Yes, I’m sorry, I thought we were sharing but I forgot, yeah… from scratch.
Amy Barfield (38:27) So, I went to request new payer enrollment. Going to provider… there, he is.
Amy Barfield (38:49) Care?
Amy Barfield (39:02) This, we’re going to ignore it because we know that it’s in there. James is going to flag it. We’re going to hit next. If you had more than one provider, you could say enroll each one, but we don’t need to do that. We’re just doing it for those providers that you have on your list. Is this the correct practice location? Let me.
Katie Downer (39:24) triple check that I.
Amy Barfield (39:28) Think it’s the only one listed maybe for New Mexico. Is it the?
Katie Downer (39:34) Six three zero zero, Riverside plaza. Yep.
Amy Barfield (39:38) Yep. Okay. So, if there was more than one location, you can add it in here and then hit next show… impaired directory. We’re just going to leave it application submission date.
Amy Barfield (39:53) Let’s see this is new desired. Effective date. Application submission date would be today’s. Date, provider start date would be the date in the system or if you have other. So they’re not going to go more than 60 days back. Okay? From data submission.
Amy Barfield (40:16) So, I would say other, and then it’s… going to take probably. So let’s go.
Amy Barfield (40:30) February 20 third would be about 60 days back… and then hit next.
Amy Barfield (40:52) Provider eight five five, I revalvulation… lapse… be reinstated… please use.
Amy Barfield (41:13) Effective date, 60 days prior to submission date. So that way if it does change or if they, I just gave an estimated date of 60 days back, but we’re asking 60 days prior to submission because that’s the most that medicare will give you.
Amy Barfield (41:33) Okay, they may only give you 30 sixty’s kind of pushing it, but I’ve seen them approve it first time around. So I just prefer to ask okay on the front end. Basically link the group enrollment… for all ptans. So since they are virtual, I would also say please link to group enrollment for all ptans. So if you do run across… a state that has more than one ptan just up front, just ask them, just add them to all the ptans because it’s really about linking to the ptans, not so much the physical locations. Okay. And then we’re gonna hit submit.
Amy Barfield (42:28) That’s it. Okay. Perfect.
Katie Downer (42:31) We’ll just do that for the providers that we got the notifications for. Yeah, I.
Amy Barfield (42:37) for those that are termed, just do a new request. Yep. If you run into issues with the group, it’s saying no group enrollment exists, but, you know, that it exists in the existing enrollments tab in medallion, just let James know and he can add that to his list, to flag tech support. Okay? I think later once we get past this point, we can talk about doing a cleanup of your existing enrollment. So it does have the same, the right payer names, okay? And that they’re all like housed under the name that it needs to be. And then we will run into that issue when you’re making future requests.
Katie Downer (43:18) Okay, perfect. All right. This is super helpful. So I’m gonna go in and do all the updates.
Amy Barfield (43:28) For each state all.
Katie Downer (43:30) 50 I’ll enroll the new, these providers, and then James, you’ll get back to us on the Texas medicaid situation. Yep. Yeah.
James Donachie (43:39) So, I’m gonna, I’ll flag that it should unblock those, and then we’ll.
Amy Barfield (43:46) get rolling, yeah. And.
Katie Downer (43:48) just to reiterate what Rahul said this is?
James Donachie (43:50) Yeah, may 30?
Katie Downer (43:51) And so, okay.
Amy Barfield (43:54) I.
James Donachie (43:54) will I got my marching orders? I’m on it. I’m on it.
Amy Barfield (44:01) Thank.
James Donachie (44:02) you. Thank you, James. And.
Amy Barfield (44:04) Amy. If you wanna grab some time tomorrow, we can, there’s some items out. Yeah, we.
James Donachie (44:10) can start knocking on some doors.
Amy Barfield (44:12) Right. They.
James Donachie (44:13) hate to see us coming around. Yeah.
Amy Barfield (44:17) Amy, thank you.
Katie Downer (44:18) Again, Amy, this is awesome. Really appreciate your time if you.
Amy Barfield (44:22) Run into any roadblocks. Just let me know and I can send you like a quick gloom video, so you don’t have to get on a call.
Katie Downer (44:28) Cool to like walk.
Amy Barfield (44:29) Through any roadblocks. Okay?
Katie Downer (44:31) Awesome. Thank you team.
James Donachie (44:33) Thank you. Thanks, everyone. Bye bye.
