FACMPE (00:00) hello?
Delaney Crowe (00:02) Hi, Amy. Can you hear me okay?
FACMPE (00:07) Yes.
Delaney Crowe (00:10) Hi, sorry, my connection has just been so bad today. I wanted to give you a ring. I know we haven’t spoke before but I’m calling from medallion. My name is Delaney. I sent over an email but just wanted to get in touch. I know you’re on the lakeshore bone joint institute team and often I chat with finance leaders around provider turnaround times. Does this kind of roll up to you?
FACMPE (00:37) What do you mean by turn around time?
Delaney Crowe (00:42) The time it takes for a provider to be fully onboarded and then billable… sometimes especially with finance teams, it’s claim denials that they’re working with or really just the abrasion that comes along with the whole revenue cycle as a whole. And so, yeah, having conversations with finance teams around, you know, really automating a lot of that process and making it like a bit more clear instead of like a black box. So, wanted to reach out to you to see if, you know, this was something that you were looking into. I know you’re fairly new to the organization as well too. So oftentimes you know, looking for ways to improve or spearhead new projects is kind of top of mind.
FACMPE (01:05) Okay.
FACMPE (01:34) Yeah, that… does roll up to me. I was thinking turnaround time in the or for a second, but we just went live on a new billing system about two months ago. So we’re working through that, go live and I don’t think we’re going to make any changes anytime soon since we, you know, it hasn’t even been two months yet.
Delaney Crowe (01:43) Thank you.
Delaney Crowe (01:59) Got it. And when you say billing system, is that like an MD-Staff or?
FACMPE (02:03) Building an emr, we went on modernizing medicine… modmed.
Delaney Crowe (02:10) A modmed, a modmed. Okay. Gotcha. Amazing. Yeah. And that’s you know, sometimes oftentimes we work conjointly with those, you know, does it make sense at the very least just to have a quick intro call just to see, you know, if there’s any gaps in the revenue cycle or that provider abrasion. And then, you know, if we part ways, we part ways, but just at the very least, you kind of know what else is out there?
FACMPE (02:37) No, honestly, I’m pretty overwhelmed right now with everything I got going on. So, you know, maybe in six months or so, I’ll have a better grasp on it.
Delaney Crowe (02:49) Okay. Got it. No, that totally makes sense. Well, happy to, yeah, stay in touch and, you know, maybe around the summertime when you’re ready to evaluate other software… I’m happy to, yeah, just keep in mind and, yeah, happy to be a resource for you.
FACMPE (03:08) Okay. Great. Thank you.
Delaney Crowe (03:11) All right. Thank you, Amy. Have a good one.
FACMPE (03:13) You too. Bye bye.
