Active Work

Recurring cadences

  • Weekly sync with Kyle Rice covering corrective action plans, priority provider updates, license renewals, and open questions.

Open programs

  • Michigan licensing — 34 licenses in process (17 new requests); all moved to in-process skipping 2-week intake hold; priority-tagged with 5-business-day follow-up cadence per Catherine request (2026-04-20).
  • April renewals — 40 licenses renewed; none outstanding as of 2026-04-20.
  • May renewals — in progress; Illinois state login pending for multiple clinicians; Dr. Kernow Oklahoma renewal in process with board; Dr. Feldman NY license (expires 2026-06-30) assigned for population.
  • Jennifer Apple — SC prescriptive authority — NP application moving forward; prescriptive authority portion placed on hold (no collaborator available, same situation as Brittany). Kyle to confirm DEA requirement for SC RX application (2026-04-20).
  • Rustin Baker — Alabama — QA plan pending board of nursing approval; once approved, notice goes to Dr. Nutter’s Alabama portal for him to electronically add Rustin (2026-04-20).
  • Ohio collaborative agreements — Catherine asked about NP status when collaborating physician is removed; Kyle confirmed license stays active (“inoperable” or similar status, pending exact verbiage). Medallion does not support collaborative agreement terminations outside of initial licensing or renewal cycles (2026-04-20).
  • Tennessee collaborative agreements — Kyle to investigate whether TN NPs require an active collaborator to maintain license; nurse practitioner currently not seeing patients, wanting to keep license active without using a collaborator slot (2026-04-20).

Open Issues & Requests

Operational pain

  • Angelica Olivia LPN profile error (corrective action) — Medallion uploaded a California RN license verification to an LPN’s profile (second occurrence of same error type within short timeframe). Error identified by Grace on 2026-04-08; incorrect license removed 2026-04-07; root-cause review + 1-on-1 coaching completed 2026-04-09. Corrective action includes SOP update for LPN/LVN vs RN distinction, QC workflow reinforcement, and a product enhancement adding a secondary queue for quality assurance on all license verifications. Per Kyle’s CAP: “second occurrence elevates this from isolated data entry mistake to a demonstrable and measurable compliance risk” — Gong call, 2026-04-20.
  • DEA / prescriptive authority confusion — SC RX application asks “do you have a DEA?” — Catherine and Grace unclear whether DEA is required for SC prescriptive authority or just listed as a yes/no question. Kyle to investigate and close the gap (2026-04-20).

Feature requests

  • Collaborative agreement termination support — Cadence asked whether Medallion can facilitate collaborative agreement terminations outside of initial licensing or renewal cycles. Currently not supported; Kyle flagged as potentially coming in the future (2026-04-20).

Decisions & Commitments

  • 2026-04-20 — Kyle: move Jennifer Apple’s SC prescriptive authority to hold; investigate DEA requirement for SC RX application; confirm Ohio NP “inoperable” verbiage; investigate TN NP collaborator requirement; send corrective action plan doc to Grace + Christina post-call.
  • 2026-04-20 — Agreed: Michigan licenses skipped 2-week intake, now prioritized with 5-business-day follow-up per Catherine’s request.
