Provider onboarding

10 net new providers being onboarded; CAQH import complete; invites to be sent out immediately (as of 2026-04-20); enrollment requests to follow for all mapped payers. Provider-side: OneOncology staff sending invites and submitting enrollment requests, selecting OneOncology (not Medallion) as entity in system (Gong, 2026-04-20).
Some new providers need enrollment only with Medicare and Medicaid.

Payer mapping

Payer mapping in progress. Unresolved as of 2026-04-20: Evolent, GlobalMed Management, Instabwell, Morgan White (Gong 2026-04-20).
Aetna Coventry: clarified as an Aetna line of business (Coventry workers’ comp is not a separate enrollment); will be handled under Aetna.
Morgan White: national plan, PPO product line; payments received by group; contact is Lilius Genghis; info previously sent to Medallion team.
GlobalMed Management: Medallion team reached out to listed contact on 2026-04-13; no response received as of 2026-04-20; pending.
Evolent: no portal available; Medallion cannot load it system-wide because enrollment is client-specific (not all entities can enroll across the board); escalated internally by Mike Manson; unresolved as of 2026-04-20 (Gong 2026-04-20).
Demographic updates / adding providers to new locations: supported in Medallion via bulk or single-submission demographic update flows.

Operational pain

Evolent enrollment blocked for several weeks: Lia Hood has providers that need to be submitted to Evolent; Medallion cannot load Evolent as a system-wide payer because it is client-specific; escalated to Mike Manson + Medallion leadership; no resolution as of 2026-04-20 (Gong, 2026-04-20).
Non-par payer tracking gap: Lia cannot load non-Medallion payers (e.g. Evolent) as non-par payers in the system, forcing management of payer work in two separate databases. Medallion was intended to be the single tracking location. Lia and Shirley are building a credentialing tracking and onboarding sheet externally to document payers Medallion is not handling (Gong 2026-04-20).
Provider terminations with payers: historically Medallion did not handle terminations; now possible via request but incurs a charge; providers must remain active in Medallion platform until terminations are complete. OneOncology to submit requests as needed (Gong 2026-04-20).
CAQH import — professional references do not import via CAQH API (CAQH limitation, no API available for that field); all other escalated import issues flagged to Medallion engineering as high priority (Gong 2026-04-20).
