Journey Clinical

Snapshot

Telehealth behavioral health company (prescribers + therapists, including Spravato clinics); Medallion prospect in active sales — pricing inputs / BVA in progress.

Profile

  • Provider network: ~40 prescribers (95% psych NPs, remainder MDs/DOs/PAs) + ~35 therapists currently billable; 2,500-provider therapy network exists but only billable providers would be in Medallion per Gong, 2026-04-20.
  • Growth plan: adding 100–150 therapists (in credentialing); up to 5 more prescribers (Spravato expansion); ~500 net new providers projected over next 12 months.
  • States: primarily CA, TX, CO; recently launched IN (2026-04-18); adding ID, ME, MT, NV, WY, GA in Q2 2026.
  • Expanding Spravato clinics; FDA approval of new treatment modality received 2026-04-19, expected to accelerate growth.

Operations

  • Current credentialing turnaround: 60–120 days submission to par status (tracked internally).
  • Current process: manual credentialing handled by one person (“Brittany”); significant bottleneck — wants Medallion to absorb in-flight and new work quickly.
  • Payer enrollment model: national contracts with Aetna and Cigna; multi-state providers require per-state enrollment submissions (confirmed: one provider × two states = two enrollments).

Key Contacts

Customer — Bridget Wolfe (bridget.wolfe@journey.clinic); Rekha Philip, rekha.philip@journey.clinic. Medallion — Lewis Elder, Enterprise Account Executive (lewis.elder@medallion.co); Samantha Bouchard, Solutions Consultant (samantha.bouchard@medallion.co).

Active Work

  • Pricing inputs scoping call completed 2026-04-20; pricing inputs sheet sent to Bridget + Rekha to fill out offline (enrollment volume, delegated agreements, licensing estimates).
  • BVA presentation scheduled for next week; follow-up check-in call (Bridget + Lewis + Sam, no Rekha) scheduled 2026-04-21.
  • Bridget to calculate average enrollments processed and re-enrollment cadence using internal spreadsheet; Samantha to confirm Cigna multi-state submission count.

Open Issues & Requests

Operational pain

  • Manual credentialing bottleneck: single person processing 100–150 in-flight therapist enrollments in priority order; no scalable system currently.
  • Enrollment volume calculation is complex due to multi-state telehealth licensing (one provider may need 6+ payer enrollments across states).

Decisions & Commitments

  • 2026-04-20 — Confirmed: Medallion would be scoped to billable providers only (~75–155 existing + ~400 net new); the 2,500-provider therapy network will not be loaded into Medallion unless billing participation grows significantly.
  • 2026-04-20 — Sam confirmed: Cigna national contract with multi-state providers counts as one enrollment per state (two states = two enrollments). To be triple-confirmed by Medallion internally.
  • 2026-04-20 — Sam confirmed: Aetna multi-state delegated agreements count as one roster (not one per state).
